I want to let my budget be known and I want personell on staff to simply be knowledgeable on the product they are selling. After checking out other lots in the area disappointed, with not only vehicle quality but this "as seen, as is" garbage, I knew where my hard earned money was going. The young, energetic salesman, Kevin, made me feel like a family member without seeming artificial or pushy on sales. I informed him I had kids and safety, reliability were of most upmost importance and I ended up purchasing this Army Green Jeep that just drives like it's off the assembly line. As an Iraq Veteran, I was more than pleased and when my fiances lease runs up next month, you can guess where I'm shopping yet again!

I brought it to everyone under the sun and they all charged me a lot of money to replace things I didn't need. It wasn't until the day before Christmas Eve that I decided to bring the car to the dealer to let them take a crack at it. Less than 24 hours later the old girl is running like a dream. Martin at the service desk kept me in the loop every step of the way. Dana, the service tech, spent hours diagnosing and getting to the root cause of the issue and provided a full detailed report on troubleshooting steps and what was found to be in great shape as well as what was wrong. I'm looking forward to driving it for the first time in years. Prices were fair and the work was prompt and thorough. I wouldn't hesitate a bit to recommend them for Honda service.

However, upon entering the building we were greeted warmly by John Desrochers and Michael Quigley. Both of them quickly put my preconceived experience to rest. Michael was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Honda, wasn't pushy at any time and I actually enjoyed negotiating with him. He took his time explaining some of the cars features and never hurried our test drive. We genuinely feel he got us the best deal he could on both the car we were buying and the car we were trading in. His follow up after the sale is to be commended as well. Because of Michael and John and our overall experience thus far at Rockingham Honda, I would not hesitate to make another purchase or recommend them to anyone.

I just recently bought a 2010 Saab 93x from them, and I am not satisfied whatsoever with my…read morepurchase. The description of the car was as follows: "This car is being sold AS-IS! Runs and Drives Nice, Heated Leather, Sunroof, Power Windows, Mirrors, Locks, Seats, Cruise Control, Aftermarket Radio with Wireless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, Nice Tires, a great deal you do not want to pass up!" Mind you, I'm well are it says "Sold as is". When I got to the shop, it had a March 2026 inspection sticker on it that was from that shop as I was told. He then proceeded to inform me that the sticker would be scraped because it didn't pass emissions for a code "P0128" which is the engines coolant temperature is below the normal regulating temperature. Easy fix, had done this on my last Saab so was not worried about it whatsoever. I had asked the worker at least 5 times if that was the code he pulled and he said yes. 2 days later, I come to find out after taking it to get a proper inspection done by me, that it actually was the engine code P0463, which involved the fuel level circuit reading "high voltage" which is a LOT more of an extensive and EXPENSIVE job to repair. If he had just been honest and straight up about the actual code, I wouldn't have bothered with this car knowing how much of a pain in the ass that code takes to fix. If you plan on buying a car from there, make sure you bring a reader to check for any engine codes, and DO NOT just take his word for accountability. If I could leave ZERO stars I would.

When I got there they were swapping off different parts from the same make and model but different year truck. The check engine light was on and all they did was clear it. They couldn't get their story straight on what the check engine light was for. They said it was on for the mirror which makes so sense at all. It was missing the windshield washer cap under the hood. They sprayed an oil undercoat to cover all the rust and rot. The truck bed had several rot holes straight through it. The brake light was on but the parking brake was not engaged. They were rudely trying to haggle after I already said I was going to pass, and even offered to switch parts back and forth between the two trucks. The salesman Connor said the check engine light was on but he didn't know what for then when we looked at the truck it was cleared and he said "Oh! They must've fixed the problem." And then after someone else came out he magically knew what it was for. When I took the truck for a test drive in had an exhaust manifold tick as well. We have dealt with many dealerships during our lifespan, both new & used, this dealership was the…read moreabsolute worst. They are the epitome of the connotation "used car salesman." On 8/24 we inquired about a used Honda posted through AutoTrader whose pictures had not yet been released. The salesperson was nice enough to send a few pictures. It had just been received as a trade & needed to be checked mechanically & prepared. After checks & changes the car was "ready" so we set aside 8/30 to drive the 162 miles round trip to see/test drive. We could only drive around the lot b/c of additional needs & it still hadn't been detailed. After many more texts & phone calls the car was completely ready on 9/3. We returned, another 162 miles, drove & agreed to purchase. Had gotten approved financing at a rate Salem said they could match or better, but they could not confirm on 9/3 b/c bank was closed. Agreed to check next morning while we continued to submit our paperwork w/our lending institution (purchase & sale w/our credit union as lienholder, verification of insurance w/lienholder, car title, etc.). Dealership would not verify they would not sell this car out from under us while we were actively processing all paperwork. We asked what could be done and they said "nothing." We asked if we could monetarily hold the car, even for the $5,000 we were going to put down anyway, no. We asked if we could have our credit union wire payment & they said ok as long as it was before someone else bought it. Why were we coming up w/potential options & not them? Called back Friday to see if they received response on matching rates, "no but what's the big deal paying .8% more?" Given it was the Friday before Labor Day & all party's not returning phone calls & texts in a timely manner, our efforts to have check in hand was unsuccessful. Apparently the GM refused to allow anything to ensure us we could process the sale on Tuesday. First thing Tuesday morning we resumed our calls. The credit union was now becoming leery of providing their agreed upon sum given the dealership's questionable sales practices. I called our salesperson to ensure our Tuesday efforts were still worthwhile & they said the car was already sold. In the meantime credit was run by them & our lending institution for not, raising questions on that end for when we actually purchasing a car and They didn't have the decency to let us know even 2 days later. This happened during the sales cycle, cannot imagine how we'd be treated if we needed something post sales. Also, just FYI, if you buy a used car here, you have 3 days, INCLUDING weekends, to change your mind but only for an exchange no money back. They did us a favor, blessing in disguise! Buyer beware!
