Finally gave Amina Thai a try for carry out. We got Pad Thai w/ tofu & vegetables, Jungle Curry with beef ( both at 2-star 'medium' spicy), and mango salad. I had a 30 minute drive home and we ate as soon as I arrived. We loved all the dishes. Salad: Ingredients were fresh and not overly-dressed. Salad was red onion, iceberg lettuce, mango, tomatoes, cashews and shredded carrots, dressed in a hot chili dressing. I think this is the first time a salad determined my beverage for the meal (milk). I don't consider the heat to be a negative; I've become a bit of a light-weight when it comes to food heat as my kids will claim and a bit of milk was all it took to enjoy my portion. Pad Thai: ordered ours with Tofu and Vegetables. Tofu was fried up perfectly, veg had just the right amount of crunch. Ordered it 'medium' spicy, we could have handled hotter, now I know for future orders. Jungle Curry: this one intrigued me so it has to be part of the order. Lemongrass, lime leaf and galangal were well-balanced (at least to my tastes, I love lemongrass) and provided a delightfully aromatic flavor profile. This will go on my favorites list while I'm working on a construction project a few doors down. COVID take-out: I do not think they have reopened to indoor diners yet. They have a doorbell outside which I dutifully rang when I arrived. Few minutes early. They quickly answered, took my name and had me verify my name before leaving with my food. Social distancing observed, masks required, masks and gloves worn by staff. Sometimes I find that dishes don't have a great differentiation in restaurants focusing on specific global cuisines. That was certainly not the case here. I will definitely be back!

3.5 Stars. I ordered beef pad Thai and spring rolls from here through GrubHub. The food arrived hot and slightly ahead of schedule. The spring rolls were good. Nice and crispy! The pad thai, however, was quite sweet. The beef in it was also tough and a bit overcooked. It tasted okay, but I could only manage to eat a few bites of it because it was just so sweet. I had a question about my order and when I called the restaurant, the staff person was very nice and she quickly and kindly addressed my concern, so points for that as well!

I'm a huge fan of Thai cuisine. Drunken noodles (extra spicy) is my staple. Earlier today was my first time here. I've honestly never even noticed the place before and I'm sure it's been around awhile. I ordered take-out...only option right now other than delivery due to Covid-19. You can't even go inside. You have to scan the menu, place an order online, pre-pay and they'll text you when it's ready. There's a doorbell and they bring the order to a table outside. If others are waiting, you must maintain at least 6 feet apart distance and be wearing a mask. Kudos for these precautions!! After placing my order, I received a notification letting me know it would be ready in 20 minutes. I went to grab a drink at Silver Strings a few doors down while I waited. Now onto the food... not the best Thai I've had and definitely not the worst, but with soooo many options in the area, this place won't be on the list of places I'd ever be in a hurry to try again. The noodles seemed overcooked and the chicken lacked flavor. I would say the portions are good and the price fair, but if reviewing a food place, ultimately the quality of the food bears weight!!!

$40 for this?!? This place is a joke.

$40 for this?! What a joke. Not authentic Thai in any of the dishes ordered. Would not recommend

Do not go there, had the disrespectful manger. I went to pickup my order , and they had pick ups at the door I couldn't notice as it was my first time so I walk to the front desk and he yelled "stay there , stay there " the way he said it was so disrespectful so please don't go there

So so good! Happiest that I finally tried this Thai place. Definitely has been my favorite Thai restaurant so far. We had Drunken Noodles Jae and Spicy Kaprow with Chicken - they were both so delicious! Highly recommend!

We have been to this place many times now. The food is good. The noodles are the best things there, the curries not so much.

The food felt very Americanized, and the flavors were much milder than what I'm used to growing up with. The Awaze Tibs, in particular, lacked the bold, rich, spicy depth that makes the dish so special. It tasted like the seasoning had been toned down, and I found myself wishing for the authentic flavors I know and love. I understand that restaurants sometimes adjust recipes to appeal to a wider audience, but I hope they'll also consider staying true to the vibrant, unforgettable flavors that make Ethiopian cuisine so unique. I truly wanted to love it, but for me, it just didn't taste like home.

I ordered the vegetarian platter and felt it was a good deal and amount of food. I ordered a boiled egg as well as a side of ayib. The ayib was great and the egg was delivered about halfway through my meal which was odd--I actually forgot I ordered it. If it can't be delivered with the meal, it probably shouldn't be offered. At the point I received it I was near done eating. The food tasted good and had a good price point. They also offers Ethiopian beer which was great. This was a good spot, definitely a hole in the wall so I do suggest making a reservation.

My wife and I had been here for lunch before and had a good experience, so this time we figured why not check it out for dinner? Turns out, it was a great idea. The wait for the food was a bit on the longer end, but to be perfectly fair, we ordered a LOT, so we certainly didn't mind. By the time the food hit the table, we forgot about it almost entirely because the smells of freshly made kitfo, lamb tibs, and this stewed chicken dish whose name I can't remember (but it came with a hardboiled egg!) hit our nose, nothing else mattered. The food was presented in a way that somehow matched the overall vibe of the restaurant, which at this time of night was set to be kinda toned down with dingy lighting and smooth music. Huge call out to my waiter that I curse myself for not getting his name, because he is, simply put, the best server I've ever had at a restaurant. Not only was he timely and discreet about topping off our waters, but also checked in about soft drinks as well, and when he heard my son saying the food was too spicy for him, he took it upon himself to get him something else to eat that wasn't spicy at all, and without myself or my wife asking. If you're looking for a great place to eat with a killer atmosphere and even better service, you've found it.

It wasn't a platter type of night, but both Indian and Ethiopian cuisines have some great appetizers, so we stopped in after a movie. It was cool to see the breakdown of a vibey bar scene on one side and a sit down area on the other period both sides had the World Cup showing, so there was really no going wrong. The woman who greeted us led us to decide where we wanted to go. According to their hours, they are open until 1AM. We decided to get the stuffed naan basket, sambusas, and chicken momos -- A nice but fairly light spread for the evening. We or later told that they were finished with the naan basket... For an Indian restaurant more than 3 hours before they closed, that was surprising to me... I should have specified whether it was naan in general or just that basket, but still. The other two items came after 25 minutes or so. The sambusas were fried HARD, but had a great flavor. The momos were solid! We had a good time catching up, and they did great keeping water refilled (mostly). It took a while to close out -- they probably thought we were invested in the game and not in a hurry, but it's a weeknight and we were on Metro's time. I am curious about their proper Indian and Ethiopian entrees ... By the way, I saw a mouse right before we left... It was in the back on the dining room side past the tables.

The fried chicken is mid and you just wish you'd gone to a more traditional place. Other options right now are Krazi Burrito, Krazi Chick, and Krazi Kebob. There's also a new Boba place too. It looks like there used to be a coffee shop and a salad place, or something like that, so just be aware that the kitchen space may change up. We ordered 2 Kati Rolls (paneer and lamb kofta) from Krazi Kebob. We did Chappli Kabob, a Kabob Roll, and the Lamb Chop platter from The Kabob Joint. And we did the Thai tea and Chai tea from the boba shop. For the Kabob Joint: The Kabob roll was a real winner and the Chappli Kabob in the spicy green sauce was super. I wish the edges would have been a little crispier, but very good. We haven't had the Lamb Chop yet but there's a ton of food in their platters. For the Krazi Kabob, the paneer roll wasn't super spicy but was very tasty and I'd definitely get it again. The lamb was good too but I preferred the paneer. Highly recommend ordering in advance or with delivery; there isn't anywhere to sit and eat of course, and everything is made to order, so expect about a 20 minute wait if you walk in and order from the kiosk inside. Overall, great food and a cool business model for the area. In addition to the above, I'd probably get the Masala Fries next time and would consider the samosa chaat as a deconstructed samosa bowl.
