The chicken over rice (I only ate a spoonful) was hearty. The "hmmmms": I put the chicken and fries in the air fryer to get an added crunch. Flavorful, but just okay. To be fair, wings have to have a specific flavor and texture in order for me to truly enjoy them. I totally understand the process of what makes something halal, including what gives the chicken the red color, but this chicken was simply too red for me to eat, like beet red. Again, the portions are hearty and it had a nice flavor. If you like foods prepared on the softer side, you'd like Naz's.

I always get the veggie combo, and I probably always will. Their tomato lettuce salad is perfection, not an afterthought, and I wouldn't mind if they gave me a whole bowls worth to grab in every bite! I've sampled bits of the meat off my partner's platters, and it far exceeds any we've ever tasted around here from an ethiopian restaurant. Back to the ambiance. I recently brought two good friends here because the space is bright and decent. That said, reservations are a MUST if you are bringing a party of larger than 2, due to how tiny the space is, and for a group, you really need to get spots either by the window or maybe their dark nook in the back. (you'll know when you visit). So so good... I'm not sure I want to go anywhere else at this point for my ethio fix!

You can adjust the heat (we chose medium) and the portions are generous. Keep in mind that Thai food can be extremely spicy, so choose wisely :D I can't get over how exceptional everything tasted. I remember it being good but not like this. The chicken tasted CLEAN (this requires a full-blown conversation to explain) and had the perfect bite. If you're ordering takeout then make sure to mix the noodles before eating. The samosas were PERFECT. Is it pricier than other places? Yes. Does the taste match the price? Also yes. Keep in mind that sometimes it's because of the ingredient quality and where it comes from. Some are simply more expensive than others. My attitude towards Thai food is a bit of a love/hate situation, but Amina just might put me back on the love wagon. Some places have this overwhelming fishy taste in everything, which I truly hate. From the depths of my soul. Oh yes, and it's also Halal. Bonus :D Order some takeout or dine in, whatever tickles your fancy, and enjoy!

Their staple dishes such as Drunken Noodles, Thai Fried Rice, Kaprow Fried Rice, Pad Broccoli and such are pretty much consistent with the way in which others of similar caliber produce it in the DMV. The food here is always fresh and delicious. I am satisfied with the quantity of food you get for the price you pay. I recommend exercising caution when experimenting with their menu items that specifically indicate SPICY because in my experience spicy here means loaded which chili pepper and almost to the point where you might miss the overall flavor of the dish due to the heat being so much in the foreground. Storefront street parking is terrible so you'll need to take advantage of nearby parking garages if you are not walking. Overall a good experience. I'll continue to patronize this place. Give them a try.

I ordered the Julii burger (medium well) and my friend ordered the steak frites. We shared our dishes, which was smart of us. The burger is always a 10/10 and the steak was good too! Our server was also very pleasant and helped us with our drink choices. The place was clean and the ambiance was perfect for a Tuesday evening meal.

It wasn't a platter type of night, but both Indian and Ethiopian cuisines have some great appetizers, so we stopped in after a movie. It was cool to see the breakdown of a vibey bar scene on one side and a sit down area on the other period both sides had the World Cup showing, so there was really no going wrong. The woman who greeted us led us to decide where we wanted to go. According to their hours, they are open until 1AM. We decided to get the stuffed naan basket, sambusas, and chicken momos -- A nice but fairly light spread for the evening. We or later told that they were finished with the naan basket... For an Indian restaurant more than 3 hours before they closed, that was surprising to me... I should have specified whether it was naan in general or just that basket, but still. The other two items came after 25 minutes or so. The sambusas were fried HARD, but had a great flavor. The momos were solid! We had a good time catching up, and they did great keeping water refilled (mostly). It took a while to close out -- they probably thought we were invested in the game and not in a hurry, but it's a weeknight and we were on Metro's time. I am curious about their proper Indian and Ethiopian entrees ... By the way, I saw a mouse right before we left... It was in the back on the dining room side past the tables.

Other options right now are Krazi Burrito, Krazi Chick, and Krazi Kebob. There's also a new Boba place too. We ordered 2 Kati Rolls (paneer and lamb kofta) from Krazi Kebob. We did Chappli Kabob, a Kabob Roll, and the Lamb Chop platter from The Kabob Joint. And we did the Thai tea and Chai tea from the boba shop. For the Kabob Joint: The Kabob roll was a real winner and the Chappli Kabob in the spicy green sauce was super. I wish the edges would have been a little crispier, but very good. We haven't had the Lamb Chop yet but there's a ton of food in their platters. For the Krazi Kabob, the paneer roll wasn't super spicy but was very tasty and I'd definitely get it again. The lamb was good too but I preferred the paneer. Highly recommend ordering in advance or with delivery; there isn't anywhere to sit and eat of course, and everything is made to order, so expect about a 20 minute wait if you walk in and order from the kiosk inside. Overall, great food and a cool business model for the area. In addition to the above, I'd probably get the Masala Fries next time and would consider the samosa chaat as a deconstructed samosa bowl.

Since Indonesian food isn't easy to find in the DMV, I'm really grateful to have Artha Rini so close to home. The restaurant itself is small, casual, and welcoming, and everyone we interacted with was genuinely friendly. I ordered the Soto Ayam, and it was exactly what I was hoping for--warm, comforting, and flavorful without needing to add much of anything. My wife had the Pecel Lele, which was tasty, though the fish was just a little overcooked. My only other minor complaint is that I wish the portions were a bit larger. One thing to note is that the menu leans pretty heavily on coconut milk, which can be tricky for my wife because she has a sulfite allergy. What really impressed us, though, was Artha herself. She patiently answered all of our questions and even told us that if we call ahead, she'll source the one brand of coconut milk that doesn't contain sulfites so she can prepare dishes my wife can safely enjoy. That level of care and customer service is hard to find these days, and it's more than enough reason for us to keep coming back. We're excited to work our way through the rest of the menu.

RICE PLATTER (3 ITEMS) - 15.75 + rendang, grilled chicken, sweet & spicy anchovies and peanut Not a whole lot of "items" but an overwhelming amount of rice. The beef rendang was a bit oily, but flavorful and tender. The grilled chicken was incredibly dry and unappetizing. I loved the sweet & spicy anchovies and peanut, which was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. Overall, disappointed with the lack of protein. In this economy, the pricing was relative affordable with most entrees under $20. My friend got the NASI KUNING, which was only a few bucks more than my rice platter, but it had a lot more food and variety. The turmeric rice was fragrant, like a spiced jasmine-flavored rice. The rice chips she didn't want (that I helped eat) were great.
