Drunken Noodles and Green Curry with Thailand IcedTea
    Syed Adnan S.

The restaurant is owned and run by a Muslim Family from Thailand. Having spent time in Thailand, Bangkok we are familiar with the Authentic Taste and this Restaurant cones close to providing the taste of Eating in Thailand. We ordered Tom Yum soup with Shrimps, the soup was decent however it included only 3 pieces of shrimps which we find it to be "stingy"! The Green Curry with Chicken was awesome !!! Hands down gives you an Authentic taste of Thailand Green Curry ... Thailand Iced Tea was alright, could have been better. Maybe less ice, next time I will definitely try lychee Ice Tea. Drunken Noodles with chicken was good but not great. The Service was Excellent, the chef came to ask us how we liked the food. She was really nice :) We love it that it's a family owned business and they are able to provide you with a Taste of Thailand :) We are glad we went and looking fwd to enjoying other dishes.

We had the following at Amina's - Thai iced tea (good) -wings (good) -lollipop chicken (good) -fried rice (ok) -half chicken (ok) -coconut sticky rice with mango (good - my favorite dessert) Overall the food is decent. I would definitely come back.

Pad Thai Chicken Curry Fried Rice Drunken Amina Glass Noodles/ drunken noodles

The food is great and so is the environment! Very tasteful and filling. The only down side to this restaurant now is that they changed their policy to cash only which is hard nowadays and the service is a bit on the slower side.

Chill chicken. Comes with a side of rice

SUCH a great place. Clean, cute decorations and its spacious enough. The service was great- the chef brought out some of the dishes to us since it wasn't so busy- such a nice touch! The lollipop chicken is always on point. They have a variety of options (although their lunch menu is a bit limited). We ordered the beef drunken noodles (10/10!!) and the red pepper fried rice with chicken. It wasn't as flavorful, will be ordering a different kind next time. Highly recommend, prices are more than fair (about $10/entree and the portions are generous), cute setting, great experience! Update: this place is ALWAYS a winner. The food always comes fast and the staff is so courteous and nice. And the food ALWAYS tastes great. My favorite Thai restaurant!!

Chicken lollipop that actually was shrimp

They tried to kill me !. I ordered their version of a sampler .. it looked great and then I noticed their chicken lollipop was replaced with some kind of shrimp roll and I have severe shellfish allergies. I had to throw the whole thing away so my lunch consisted of a thai iced tea which was good and air . I was told the wings were good but qas too scared to eat anything after seeing such carelessness

I've had food from Amina delivered to my apartment and most recently ate at the restaurant. I think the food and service is pretty good. Warning: their food is very spicy. I ordered the Drunken Noodle and once asked for the Pad Thai spicy. Wowsers... I like spicy food, but this is a little out of control. Now I ask for it mild, and on occasion I get it spicy. The shrimp appetizer are pretty good too. The spring rolls are ok. As for some of the other reviews, I think reviewing this place based on their delivery guy is pretty unfair. I've had different delivery guys from Amina show up at my door and I haven't had an issue with any of them. If I did, it doesn't take away the fact that the food is delicious.

Thai iced Tea with Lychee is amazing. Lunch serving was descent. Would def go back. Mango Avacado Salad was perfection

Worst thai restaurant, complete rip off, tiny serving size, not tasty, $$$ expensive

Worst thai food ever , ripoff. Charged 45 for a tiny serving of fried rice and 4 dumplings.

Our group was quite hungry as we had just walked maybe 14-16 or so miles, and I looked up the local spots around where we finished, and this lovely place popped up. We arrived pretty early for lunch, and there was already a handful of people here, but by the time we left, it was crowded. The inside has a nice design, almost reminding me of the old markets in Bangkok back when I was there. The female server we had was very friendly, giving recommendations to the people in our group who were less familiar with Thai food or helping them decide between dishes. I will note, though, that we were unaware of the lunch menu until post-meal, but that was fine with me as I left happily full. While I only had one dish and a bite of an appetizer, I would definitely go back here, and I wish it were closer, as I found this spot a gem among the many Thai spots. Someone else ordered the Curry Puffs for $10, with homemade puff pastry, ground chicken, potato, and onion with cucumber relish, as an appetizer. The dish arrived with three puffs, and I had a tiny bit of one of the parts as I wasn't sharing this dish. From the little I tasted, the puff was standard, but good, with a lightly spiced filling. The cucumber relish was slightly sweet as expected. The presentation was also nice, as there was a piece of watermelon radish as well as some sliced carrots. My main dish was the $16 Sukhothai Spicy Pork Noodle Soup with thin rice noodles, handmade pork meatballs, roasted pork, long beans, bean sprouts, peanuts, dried shrimp, and boiled egg. The dish arrived with a cracker with their logo on it, which was a fun touch, though it was soon dipped into the broth. The broth was slightly rich and quite porky as expected, and was mildly spicy. As per many other traditional Thai spots, though, they gave the usual mix of chilies and chili sauces, so soon, the spice was to my liking. The pork meatballs had a bit of bounce, and the roasted pork had good flavor. The rest of the vegetables and peanuts added a good crunch. The noodles were plentiful, and while I prefer egg noodles or thicker rice noodles found in other Thai soups, as they grab onto the broth better, they worked here. The rest of the people enjoyed their more generic dishes, ranging from green curries to Pad Thai to Pad Kee Mao/drunken noodles. I wish this place were closer, as I would definitely go back. The ratings are high, but justified.

They've also updated the ambience, making it feel cozier. I spoke with Jacob, the assistant manager, about my previous experience and the complimentary meal that was promised regarding the cockroach incident. He said he needed to verify it with the manager or business owner, and after 10-15 minutes came back to let me know the owner approved 50% off the whole meal. While I appreciated the gesture, I did feel it fell a little short of what was originally promised as a full complimentary meal. What stood out most this visit was Jacob himself. He told me he vividly remembered my party from that night because he was the one who seated us -- and he sincerely apologized for what happened. That acknowledgment genuinely meant a lot. They also gifted me a free mug, which was a sweet touch. The food and atmosphere continue to impress, and the staff clearly cares. I just hope the follow-through on promises matches the warmth of the service going forward.

The chive cakes and moneybag dumplings were the best I've had from any Thai restaurant. I get the moneybag from Siam Thai every time. The tomahawk short rib was massive! We ordered a mix of dishes to share, including a whole live fish, calamari with shrimp, and pad see ew. Everything came out flavorful and fresh, and honestly the portions were great for the price. One thing I really appreciated was how accommodating they were for the birthday. We brought a cake and the staff kindly cut it for us and brought out cute little plates and forks so everyone could share. Small touch, but it made the celebration feel a bit more special. The space works really well for groups, and the atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming. The only thing I'd plan ahead for is parking -- it was a bit difficult to find a spot, so getting there early definitely helps. Overall, good flavors, affordable dishes, and a great place to gather with friends for a celebration or casual night out.
