Our initial visit last year left a lasting impression, with exceptional ambiance, service, and cuisine. However, our recent dining experience failed to meet expectations. The exceptional service provided by Daisy and the delectable bread with roasted garlic cloves were the only redeeming aspects. The Fried Calamari appetizer was flavorless, and my husband's Fettuccine Vongole lacked flavor. The White bean soup had an unexpected kick. The salad's Creamy Italian dressing was underwhelming. I ordered the traditional meat Lasagna, which had a crunchy overcooked bottom layer of pasta emitting water, suggesting that the lasagna may have been previously frozen. Although Daisy addressed the issue, the revised dish was unacceptably thin and presented in a manner that suggested an attempt to deceive. Given my recent family loss and emotional state, I was in need of a satisfying meal and rest. The chef's decision to present a subpar dish was disappointing and inconsiderate. Lastly, with everything we experienced - bland food and a anorexic lasagna which totaled $83 , I am truly disheartened by this experience. * There's no way this is the same chef from last year... Nooooo way!!!

We enjoyed this restaurant after a concert at the St Augustine Amphitheatre. Garlic knots for appetizer and Chicken Limone for entree. Great food and service. Would visit again.

Never have I've seen this appetizer. Whole garlic cloves in Olive oil

1st No alchohol being served due to ownership change. 2. No ravioli or tortellini 3. Bug/small roach crawling on wall 4. Mozzarella sticks obviously frozen, when my 9 yr old squeezed out all the water from them. 5. Floors dirty. We actually had to leave. No way I would eat the food. Place looks dated dirty and not appetizing.

We got a sample of three different pasta dishes ... sometimes these are the daily chefs specials.

Server, Arianna was excellent with our rowdy party of 8 adults. She kept the 4 couples clear and separate checks was an ease. Food was excellent - all ordered an appetizer and entree - no photos as we were hungry and jumped right in when food hit the table. Ate before headed to the party room for a night of comedy! Unfortunately, we missed out on dessert - so we'll have to go back for that! The iPad menu was a hit with all of us - easy to use and fun to "see" the menu/food photos!! The Food Mafia and his lovely wife have a hit there! Would definitely recommend!

Not sure where to start with this one. During my current trip to St Augustine I decided to stop by this restaurant for some pasta. The good: they provided free bread to get you started. We ordered the corn ribs as an app. This was an interesting idea but we quite enjoyed it. The bad: we walked in and there wasn't anyone greeting. We waited for a host looking like idiots standing there. The food took a ridiculous amount of time and was sub par. Tasteless cold chicken, tasteless Alfredo sauce, a bake ziti which didn't actually use ziti pasta. The worst: i had to change my menu option because they refused to swap red sauce for white as I would have heart burn eating red sauce at night. The food felt like it was their baquet left overs and they wouldn't compromise to make our experience better. We were a party of 3 and only 1 finished their meal. The chicken Alfredo and baked ziti (again not ziti) were not finished and we refused a box to take it. 100% do not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning

After the Mother's Day fiasco where the prior tenants of Amici's Italian Restaurant in St. Augustine went out of business and canceled our confirmed reservation 2 days before Mother's Day leaving me to scramble to make Mother's Day special for my wife, we decided to give the restaurant another try after the new owners Freddy and Jen reached out in response to our negative review to repeatedly apologize. I personally believe the experience starts the minute you walk in the door and the 2 Hostesses were outgoing, personable and pleasant to deal with. The food excellent and our server Ariana was superb; while handling multiple tables, she never missed a beat. It was a pleasure meeting both owners Jen and Freddy and again receiving multiple apologies for our prior experience from them along with Ariana. Watching Jen fly around the restaurant checking on all the tables along with bussing them was amazing and made us feel valued. This being said, we strongly recommend trying Amici's Italian Restaurant located at 1915 A1A S, St Augustine, FL 32080; I know we will be back and by the way, I would have given them 10 starts if I could!

A nice place to stop for a pasta fix! Located nearby to where we were staying, we decided to check Amici out. we located in a large shopping center so there's plenty of parking with easy access. This is a pretty laid-back restaurant with a full bar and super casual, no-frills, dining area. There is a more formal area towards the back that caters for special events. We were pleasantly greeted and our server patiently answered all of our questions. We were pleasantly surprised to find zucchini noodles on the menu which is great when you're watching your carbs. Loved the digital menus there were offered on an iPad. A nice variety of your basic dishes and a nice tasting tomato sauce. Reasonably priced and a wide variety of desserts if you still have room. Mange!

What a find! We have only driven by about 1,000 times! We always just forget about it as we are always going to or coming from the beach when we pass it. Our server, Amanda was great! The food is OUTSTANDING!! This is now a new problem! We will be going here at least once a week. They have Prime Rib on Mondays, which require a reservation if you plan on getting any. We ended up ordering other things which were equally outstanding and we learned a lesson about the prime rib day. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!

Location Just south of Amphitheater Parking Large lot Atmosphere Cozy Italian Seating Bar area-tables, booths-did not see dining room or banquet area. Service Friendly, immediate, menus not readily available Food and beverage We went before the Amphitheater concert-didn't receive or see a menu-however it was happy hour and we had the house wine-a light Cabernet from Italy. The guest beside us had the corn-rolls off the cob-beautiful. The garlic wings were delicious. Regular serving-8, happy hour serving-@4. The loaded plated of entrees looked so delicious! Summary Great pre-concert venue-friendly service, awesome food and beverage.

Arrival: There are parking lots nearby--expect to pay around $15-25. As we walked up, there was live jazz music playing in the courtyard, which set a really great vibe right away. Service: Our waiter was attentive and timely without being overbearing. Food: Everything was amazing. We started with the bread service--the truffle butter was definitely the highlight (we didn't care too much for the ricotta spread). FYI: the little cubes that look like white cheddar are *not* cheese...I learned that the hard way by biting into a square of butter. For dinner, I had the cacio e pepe and he ordered the 100 lasagna. Portions were a bit smaller than expected, but honestly fine after filling up on bread. For dessert, we shared an affogato--the espresso wasn't burnt (which is surprisingly rare), so that was a big win. Overall: After the Resy credit, parking ended up costing more than the meal, which is kind of wild. Only downside was that there are just two restrooms, and there was a line when we went. Great time overall--will definitely be back.

We started with the bread appetizer, which came with several types of fresh bread and an incredible lineup of spreads like whipped ricotta, truffle butter, regular butter, and honey. Every bread had its own distinct flavor and texture. Next up was the sausage appetizer featuring both a sweet sausage and a spicy sausage, all made in house. They were cooked perfectly and served in a flavorful sauce with peppers that tied everything together. The balance between the sweet and spicy was so good. For my entree, I ordered the lasagna, and it was pure comfort. It reminded me so much of the classic lasagna I grew up eating, layered with rich Bolognese and a creamy bechamel sauce that made it feel both nostalgic and elevated. My boyfriend went with the steak (I believe it's a New York strip) and swapped a few of the sides to his liking. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection, a beautiful medium rare. I may or may not have stolen about four bites... and yes, it was worth it..... We were way too full for dessert, but we did enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner which made the whole experience feel like the perfect date night. The service was fantastic, the food was memorable, and it's definitely a place we'll be coming back to for many more dates!

It was a bit rubbery and not as soft or potato-forward as I prefer. It reminded me more of store-bought gnocchi than homemade. That said, the portion size felt fair for the price. Location: The restaurant is located on the St. Augustine Beach barrier island, which is convenient if you're staying nearby and don't want to head into historic downtown for dinner. The Chicken Marsala arrived undefeated in battle against any form of tenderizing. This chicken was not pounded thin -- it clearly lifts weights. The service was pretty good, I can admit, however even that could've been better. We got started with our evening with a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced. The house arancini was chicken stuffed, which we were only told about after we ordered the dish. Sadly, the chicken pieces were large and there was just not enough cheese to really make this dish work - nor enough sauce. I even got a piece of bone in my arancini, which just ruined my appetite. We then had decided on the chicken parm for the main course (which later we realized was rather similar to the arancini). The first chicken parm piece that was got was rather large in size, however as we cut into the dish we noticed that half of the meat was still pink and cold to the touch. We showed our waiter, and instead of treating us with some empathy, we were told that "well its not our fault, but I've been trying to tell the guys in the back to pound the meat before cooking it." We were given another piece of chicken, and it was only slightly better than the first piece, but we ate a few bites and called it an evening. It's too bad, I'd be willing to try this place out for other dishes but I don't know if I'll choose this place again, knowing there are other options nearby. The best part of the evening was the ambiance and the wine, so maybe a happy hour in the future is in order.
