The avocado toast was slightly underwhelming, the round fried eggs on top weirdly throw me off. They just seem more rubbery when they're cooked in a mold like that. The avocado was also slightly bland. The croissant sandwich was the favorite, I really liked the bread. But the salmon was fishy. The lattes were good, not super smooth and silky, but good. The ambiance and the service were impeccable, though! I'll be back for baked goods!

I'm typically a savory over sweet type of gal because I don't like overly sweet desserts; however, this cookie is PERFECT. I mean, who would go to an Italian market to ask for something other than premium Italian cuisine & delicacies am I right? Well apparently my black ass because the cute blond Caucasian girl behind the counter thought it was wise to ask me completely randomly "Ummm sirrr did you order the fried chicken & grilled chicken"??? SWEAR I'm not lying and you can't make that up. I ordered probably one of the most Jersey White Italian dude sandwiches of all time with sliced Mozzarella on it . Why you asking me if I ordered fried chicken at an Italian Market?! Was it because I was the only brother in there? Lmfao it's honestly just more funny than insulting just wanted to share this experience. The sandwich was pretty decent however. They told me they make their roast beef in house which was nice. I'd possibly return to try something else. Just cool it with the stubble context racism & teach proper customer service educate to the youth in there. Classic European market vibes that was nice I'd say.

What I ordered the first time: - Latte - Hot chocolate - Beef croissant The drinks were decent but the beef croissant was so good! Very flaky and messy to eat but worth it 100%. They are a bakery for fine pastries so I don't really knock them for not having also amazing drinks. What I ordered the second time: - Beef croissant (had to run it back) - Ham and cheese croissant - Chocolate croissant - Puff pastry dessert All of the croissants were very good but the beef one is still the best. The puff pastry dessert was underwhelming. It was so tough to eat because of the harden caramel and the pastry underneath was also too hard to be enjoyed. We just ate the top pieces and some of the cream and threw out the rest. Service is fine, no notes. I overheard a woman having an issue with her large order the first time we were there and they seem to have addressed it quickly and professionally.

The harder Acma which was covered in sesame seeds was just ok. Borak with cheese was just ok. Eggs with suckuk (Turkish sausage) was better than ok because of the taste of the sausage. The eggs left a lot to be desired. The bad: I also got a hot chocolate that unfortunately was Swiss Miss which I noticed after I ordered. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Everything that day tasted so fresh and so delicious! The red velvet cake slice was amazing! My husband loved all his cookies too! We loved the bakery so much we came back a few days later unfortunately that day it wasn't nearly as good except for the cookies. I bought a carrot cake slice, a cheesecake/brownie slice and various cookies. The carrot cake slice wasn't that great and tasted a few days old. The brownie part to the cheesecake slice was very good, but the cheesecake on top wasn't that great. We did enjoy the cookies. We came back for a third time on Monday Jan 26, 2026 and I purchased a brownie that tasted a month old at least! It was hard as a brick! Needless to say I didn't eat it! I also bought a chocolate mousse cake slice that was extremely fresh and good. As usual the cookies we purchased were all fresh and very good. All in all this bakery is a mixed bag you don't know if you're going to get something fresh or stale. Everything is either hit or miss. I'd come back again and give it another shot, but I wouldn't come often.

Today we came here after our daughter's graduation from preschool to let her pick out a pastry for herself. This spot is great to try out new things that you otherwise wouldn't have tried. I had a croissant a few months ago that usually is a mini croissant filled with some type of lemon custard cream with strawberries on it. It's usually in the display with the savory foods (sandwiches etc). Whatever that lemon custard cream is that they use in those is so good but those croissants are so small. I asked someone at the front if they could help me with finding something else that uses the same lemon custard and she showed me a few options. So happy I picked that purple donut pictured, it was so delicious. I highly recommend anything with that lemon custard in it. It reminds me of this lemon cream cheese icing my mother used to make for lemon cake and it is so good, but this was 10x better. All of the fruit on the pastries is always perfect. The best strawberry and blueberry quality and ripeness you could ask for (not tart at all). The employees are super kind, I feel like I'm always super self conscious going here because we always decide last second before I get ready for the day and I'm always ready to be judged by everyone I encounter for how I look , but everyone has always been super sweet here and always interacts with our daughter as well and makes it a fun experience for her. So refreshing to encounter kind people in NJ. As for everything else, I'm more of an espresso/super strong coffee person, and I usually prefer getting coffee across the parking lot at Gregory's and then eating Paris baguette's pastries with it. Paris baguette's coffee is maybe like a 7 in my personal opinion. Still an amazing spot though. I haven't tried their baguettes, and I know that's the entire point of this spot, but wow, their pastries are enough to never try anything else .

It's creamy and rich, not too sweet, nor too heavy, and available as a full cake or miniature servings. For years and years, my aunt and uncle always got cheesecake from here when I visited. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced us apart longer than anyone would've liked. I kept saying 'I wish I knew where they got the cheesecake.' Finally, I asked for the name and visited when I was in town. Wow! More than five years later, and the cheesecake was just as good as I remember. I also picked up a struffoli and some assorted cookies. Next time I'll try a hamantaschen, too. And, of course, the cheesecake will always be my go-to dessert here.
