It was kind of priced a little bit out of my budget today, and I instead got the gourmet chocolate cupcake. I also ordered a homemade iced tea to go with the cupcake, and they both were very delicious. The service was good and the person behind the counter helped me with a smile. This place is for sure not your typical cafe, and it's really geared for short stays. It's beautiful j side and I would definitely recommend it here whenever you are in the Edison or Metuchen area.

They must have polish roots because pierogies and kielbasa show up on the menu a few times. I saw "pierogie omelet" and was sold. You can tell their pierogies are freshly made and it makes all the difference. I probably wouldn't get the omelet again because it was kind of a lot happening at once, however, next time I go I think I definitely would like to get the pierogi platter they offer because I enjoyed the kielbasa and pierogies so much. My sister got a strawberry arugula salad with crispy chicken. I did not try it but I tried a piece of chicken and it was deliciously crisp. She said everything was really good and the strawberries were perfect and ripe. My mom, who got the protein pancake with fruit on side agreed. My other sister got a tuna wrap which she also enjoyed. I also like that they do a 1/2 tea 1/2 lemonade with your choice of flavor. I got the raspberry and it was delicious - not too sweet but the flavor was there. I bought a carrot cake slice, a cheesecake/brownie slice and various cookies. The carrot cake slice wasn't that great and tasted a few days old. The brownie part to the cheesecake slice was very good, but the cheesecake on top wasn't that great. We did enjoy the cookies. We came back for a third time on Monday Jan 26, 2026 and I purchased a brownie that tasted a month old at least! It was hard as a brick! Needless to say I didn't eat it! I also bought a chocolate mousse cake slice that was extremely fresh and good. As usual the cookies we purchased were all fresh and very good. All in all this bakery is a mixed bag you don't know if you're going to get something fresh or stale. Everything is either hit or miss. We waited almost 15 minutes just to order and not because there was a long line. The staff just seemed completely overwhelmed and backed up. We ordered tiramisu and cookie butter lattes, and it took another 15 minutes to get them. When they finally came, both drinks tasted like milk and sugar. I genuinely think they forgot to add espresso. At that point, the place was so packed and chaotic that we didn't even bother saying anything, we just left and went across the street for bagels and coffee instead. Overall, it felt like a huge waste of time, money, and gas.
