Well apparently my black ass because the cute blond Caucasian girl behind the counter thought it was wise to ask me completely randomly "Ummm sirrr did you order the fried chicken & grilled chicken"??? SWEAR I'm not lying and you can't make that up. I ordered probably one of the most Jersey White Italian dude sandwiches of all time with sliced Mozzarella on it . Why you asking me if I ordered fried chicken at an Italian Market?! Was it because I was the only brother in there? Lmfao it's honestly just more funny than insulting just wanted to share this experience. The sandwich was pretty decent however. They told me they make their roast beef in house which was nice. I ordered two weeks ago for Christmas Eve 1:30 pick up time. We got there at 1:15. At 4:30 we still did not have our four trays of food. They finally came out at 4:45. I got home. Three of the trays were ice cold the fourth tray that was supposed to be shrimp scampi was actually Linguine and clam sauce. Took me over an hour to reheat everything. Some of my guests had to leave because they had to get to church they left without dinner. I find it hard to believe anybody would go back. There was at least 30 to 40 people outside waiting for hours for their food that they ordered and prepaid for. read more

I like Italian delis. There have a wide variety of prepared food and they are good. They make what they call "egg rolls, are meat or chicken dishes wrapped in dough. Unlike a Stromboli they do not user pizza dough. As a result the outside is softer and thinner, which I like this much better. Their sliced beef in tomato is terrific over pasta instead of meatballs. I have not tried their butcher or their baked goods. read more

Update to my previous review... Tuscany is handling the new norm of business due to COVID19 extremely well. Masks are worn, customers are asked to social distance. Management is taking orders over the phone, offering curbside pickup and deliveries. Tuscany does catering right, the food is always delicious and fresh. Their Steak dishes are perfect! We were highly recommended this place to cater for Christmas. Our family has never catered for a holiday but we had no choice this year. What a mistake! We had simple items, chicken francais, eggplant rollatini, lasagna and salad and antipasto. The chicken was rubber, the eggplant rollatini tasted awful and lasagna no words. I never leave bad reviews, but i had to for this food. I know many people will think i exaggerate but 8 of the 11 people in our house wouldnt eat the food. It would of been cheaper to buy frozen trays from shop rite and they would of been tastier. To boot it was a total of over $400! To make things that much more pleasurable, when we called to complain of the food but to do it in a professional way, the woman on the phone got an attitude. This is one of our favorite places to pick up to-go food or cater from. The food has never let us down and the owner is so friendly and welcoming! They've even unlocked the door at closing time to let us in to pick up what ever we needed! We love their grilled chicken, their pasta, their seafood cold salad, they have an amazing beet salad always fresh, they also have a very good faro salad. We have picked up desserts from here too (tiramisu, rice pudding, almond cake, cookies) all so good and never had any issue! It's a great place if your in a hurry or need some food for any event! I needed a last minute food order for an honor guard that was paying tribute to my uncle who past away unexpectedly. My wife and I needed to find a place asap, not knowing if any place would be able to come through. My wife and I kept going back and forth, so I decided to take care of it myself. I drove over to Tuscany Deli the following morning and spoke to the owner Ann. I informed her my situation and she took my order right away and told me everything would be perfect. When I picked up my order I was floored. The food presentation was amazing. Everything was perfect. I walked into the funeral home and met with the honor guard and told them that the food was them. At the end of a long day, almost every honor guard came up to me and told me how delicious the food was. In fact, several took home whatever was left. That's how much food Tuscany prepared. Not only was the food exceptional, the service, professionalism, and caring that Ann expressed was unbelievable. I am a forever customer. Ann, you are truly a beautiful person. I got 3 sandwiches, the Godfather, the Reuben and the Cuban. All 3 were served on the same Italian bread, which was really good bread but all wrong for an Reuben and a Cuban. The Godfather was too salty. And not salty from nice aged meat salty, salty like it tasted like someone added salt. So ok sandwich, but not great. The Reuben was an ok mix of kraut/meat/cheese, and the meat was really good, but it just didn't work with so much bread. The Cuban was not a Cuban at all. It was a ham and salami sandwich with pickles and mustard. That said, it was the best sandwich of the 3... but wasn't really a Cuban at all. Overall, just didn't hit enough high notes to be my go to sandwich place, but the bread is excellent. read more

This place does deserve the extra star from my rating. The sandwiches are pretty good. I normally try to order from the sandwich board, but today I asked them to make me a cheese steak sandwich with what I wanted and they obliged! It wasn't on the menu. This and another sandwich averaged about $8 per sandwich, but there is a lot of meat and fresh ingredients in them and they were large enough. I think half a sandwich can feed an average adult. I shared half my cheese steak with my wife and I was still full. Aside from the sandwiches there's a lot of prepared foods to choose from. They also sell butchered meats, deli meats, breads, cookies, small selection of dessert, and anything you can think of to whip up a nice Italian dinner. The staff is friendly to boot. Last week we had ordered a sandwich platter for 15 people and a side of potato salad. The potato salad was fresh and very tasty; unfortunately; the sandwich platter missed the mark. We had order several varieties of sandwiches and although we received the correct number, they weren't all the correct ones. The breaded chicken patty with mozzarella and roasted red peppers was dry and unappetizing. Even putting balsamic on it or another condiment didn't help; still dry. We ordered the Italian and basically just got ham & cheese. The American was just extremely dry turkey and cheese. I may be wrong on this one but we thought we order chicken salad but got tuna. All the sandwiches were dry from the bread and no amount of condiments helped. Have had other items from here before that were good but this time we were dissatisfied and disappointed. Guess we're going back to Livoti's but not the one in Old Bridge but the new one in Freehold. At that one they listen to your order and give you what you ask for and how you ask for it. read more

Love the food, love the employees. So friendly & helpful. Their Berkshire pork chops are to die for. If you're unsure about ordering an item, they'll let you taste it, which I really appreciate. I don't need to be fawned over, but it's nice to be acknowledged when you walk into a small shop like this. Placed a catering order here for Christmas Eve (order was placed 10 days in advance) for pickup at 3:00. When I arrived there was a long line around the corner of people picking up their prepaid food. I didn't receive my food until 7:00. While I was waiting there was no estimate on when food would be ready and no explanation as to why all orders were hours delayed. Managers were no where to be found. The high school aged employees were left in the front of the store to deal with the unhappy customers and were running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying deliver incomplete food orders. Upon receiving the food there was still no apology or explanation as to what happened. It was almost as if they expected everyone to wait inline for hours even though they were given a pickup time/ordered in advance. They were clearly completely unprepared and mismanaged all orders for the day. Serious changes need to be made. I will not be back. read more

Placed an order for a birthday party of 30 people. The Food was supposed to be delivered at 5:00 pm (party started at 6:00). I Got a call at 3:30 saying they had so many deliveries and since the weather was so bad they would be here in 10 minutes to deliver the food. When I said that wasn't acceptable and didn't want the food delivered that early and wanted it at 5 like planned, I was told that was fine the driver would sit in my driveway and wait (guess I was his last delivery for the day). So obviously when the driver got here I took the food inside but nothing was hot as promised. The Cavatelli and broccoli was super dry, the penne vodka was also pasty and dry. When I called to complain the woman was rude, said the food came right out of the oven to my house. When I said there was no way that was possible because some of the food was barely Luke warm, she said would you like me to come and heat up the food. No apology no explanation just straight up rude!!!! Safe to say I will NEVER order from there again!!!! read more

I just called Tuscany in Old Bridge to make sure they have homemade Alfredo sauce. I usually go to the one in Freehold, but figured since this location was closer I would give it a shot. The girl who answered the phone wasn't sure if they sold it to customers, and went to ask someone in the back. She got back on the phone and said that they don't have any made, but I can place an order for it. I asked if I could pick it up today if I placed an order now, and a man in the background said not until later on today. Being that it's 12:30p, I said if 3pm would be okay. The man in the background said no. It takes max 30 mins to make a quart of Alfredo sauce. Thanks but no thanks. I'll be taking my business else where. 2 stars given because I love the cannoli cookies they sell there, which are made and shipped to them from a company in Brooklyn. I'll be ordering directly from the company rather than going to the store. Kudos for the bad customer service received over the phone. read more

I have used this place on two occasions for catering. The first time I ordered steak and peppers, and everybody loved it. I was quite impressed with tray of steak peppers as well. It was tender and just absolutely delicious! The other item I ordered was the meat lasagna, and everybody enjoyed it. The last catering order I had here was for Thanksgiving. Stuffed mushrooms excellent. The turkey was cooked perfectly. The Italian style mash potatoes very good. Roast beef that came in a delicious gravy. The sweet potatoes cooked just right. I just prefer mine more sweeter could of used more Brown sugar other than that it still was good. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because nobody liked the stuffing. It was 80% meat and 20% stuffing so that was disappointing. The stuffing it did consist of wasn't even moist. All in all everything other than the stuffing was excellent, and I'd definitely use them to cater for me again. The staff was very helpful. They even brought and packed everything into my car.
