Visited Krust Café Freehold today for the 1st time. It definitely will NOT be the last. The place is small but cute. The food absolutely delish. I was greeted by a man who I now know from videos is the owner. Very nice helpful and welcoming. He showed me bread samples and I opted to taste the chocolate bread. OMG No words. I ended up buying the last loaf. He gave me suggestions for lunch and I chose the Fancy Bird Shooters. Delish!!!! And the chips that come with it.... Wow! Plenty of food also, I could not finish it all. You can eat in or take out. He did say he is working on extending hours. I will definitely be back!

    Worst breakfast ever.

I tried so very hard to like this place. The decor is cute, the staff were very friendly. The cafe was extremely clean. If I was reviewing those things the cafe would get 10 stars - however, I'm rating food and this was one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had - and when you are a breakfast cafe you had better get it right! They didn't come close to getting it right - not by a long shot. I ordered orange juice, they were out of it. The coffee was hot but that's truly the only nice thing I can say about it. My scrambled eggs were overcooked by at least 5 minutes - they were inedible and not eaten. The bacon had great flavor but parts were cooked nicely while other parts were either raw or burnt. The sourdough toast was not toasted - just barely warmed up and doughy. I asked where my home fries were and were told they were also sold out. For a breakfast place to be sold out of two mainstay staples, serve coffee that only qualifies because of its temperature and to serve eggs that my cat wouldn't even consider eating is just very sad and pathetic. I might have given this place a second try but by the look of my eggs and the eggs at the tables near by I assume that they feel this is the way eggs should be cooked and served so a second trip would be just wasting another twenty dollar bill. Take the extra 4 minute ride and go to the Freehold Grill on Rt 33 - they know what they are doing!!

Krust is the definition of a hidden gem. I can guarantee in a year they won't be so hidden. The place is awesome baking their own bread and letting you sample pretty much everything. The pork roll egg and cheese on homemade bread is one of the best in the area. We also bought a sourdough loaf fresh out of the oven and it was divine. The proscuitto sandwich with burrata also lovely. They are also the nicest people in there. Highly recommend.

We loved Krust Café for the vibe, food, and coffee! The folks working here are friendly and hardworking making sure we had everything we needed. The coffee is available from a coffee urn and it's hot and really good. We ordered an Italian chopped sandwich and Philly cheesesteak sandwich both served on soft, delicious bread. I highly recommend the Italian chopped if you are craving all the classic combined flavors of the meats, cheese, mayo, and oil and vinegar. Yum! Lots of creative breakfast and lunch sandwich options. We have also tried and loved the BLT, pork roll, and french toast. Krust Café sells its incredible bread too! It's a small restaurant you may have to wait for a table but it will be worth it! Located in the Abbey Carpet plaza on Route 9 South in Freehold, NJ.

Grown-up Tuna sandwich, which is minced raw ahi tuna with soy sriracha mayo and pickles on egg bread roll. This was the best tuna salad ever created and produced! This is basically tuna poke on a sandwich and we all loved it. We were upset when we were done! Should've ordered two. LOL. Seared tuna salad, which is seared tuna with pickled carrot, red onion and wasabi vinaigrette. We thought it was pretty good. The tuna was seared nicely. Hubs think they should have a lightly seared tuna sandwich, too! LOL Chicken salad sandwich, which is chicken salad on egg bread roll. Hubs said that this was good, too. Their rolls are really soft here. I asked if we could buy another roll but was told that we have to order another sandwich. The owner makes enough rolls for his sandwiches. We also ordered soup but forgot the name of it. I think it was carrot ginger and it wasn't bad. The owner was giving us little samples of all his soups, as soon as we walked in. Service was really friendly and patient. Will definitely return to try that tuna salad sandwich again!

Let me be myself, it says. This seems to be the theme. Start with a sampling of all the soups. And by all, I mean some of the most homemade and unique flavors I've had in sometime. Black Bean, Asparagus Fennel, Southern Peanut, Tuscan Dill, and the one I ordered Korean Chicken. Came with this soft and flavorful foccacia. After knocking that back, I had the Grown Up Tuna Sandwich. Minced Raw Yellowfin Tuna with a Soy-Sriracha Mayo and Pickles on Egg Bread. Great flavor, and consistency. Wash down the deliciousness with a Lue's Brew - Root Beer, and chase with a Chocolate Chip Cookie. The menu isn't expansive, but do a set amount of items, and do them damn well. 230p and he's out of his fresh baked bread. Selling out is always something that speaks volumes. Tenth And Willow - Breakfast platter

Along this highway in Farmingdale, you will find an Italian deli that serves quality ingredients. I…read moreonly went there to support local businesses, and I will say that I do not regret it. Brand: 5/5 Tenth and Willow is an Italian-themed deli located in Colts Neck Plaza in Farmingdale. The logo has the Italian flag emblazoned in the background. The solid aesthetics on the website of the sparkles and shining rays perfectly represent the brand. When it comes to the interior, I will say that they deliver on all they promise, for you will find many Italian food and ingredients throughout the establishment. Website: 5/5 It brings you immediately to an image of a sandwich, which makes a good first impression on anyone coming to the site. Scrolling down, you encounter the backstory and the menu with many selections from beverages to wraps to heroes. You will find at the bottom a regularly updated blog section filled with fun facts of Tenth and Willow. Wait Time: 5/5 I experienced no delay or disruptions during the time I waited for my order. Ambiance: 4/5 The establishment housed plenty of Manhattan Specials of varying flavors throughout the aisles. You will also find plenty of cookies and treats upon racks, including meats and cheese hidden behind large glass counters. The aisles and the space between them and the deli did feel cramped with no tables or seats available. Food: 5/5 I ordered the Maple Ham Hero, which considers maple ham, fontana cheese, lettuce, tomato, and balsamic glaze. The maple ham had a sweet taste, as expected, which complements well with the sharp fontana cheese and the lettuce. The balsamic glaze had its own strong taste. The bread held well and had a decent amount of crunch, without becoming stale. Everything in the hero stayed in place while it also had a rich, thick taste. Service: 5/5 The staff managed to get my order without any issues. Worth The Money?: 4/5 The selection of meals, such as heroes, definitely reflect the brand of Tenth and Willow as an Italian market-and-deli. While I did not have a problem waiting, it did feel cumbersome in a cramped area for my order. Nevertheless, the ambiance of exploring around the establishment did not have an issue with me, especially as I got to see the delicacies from the cookies to the marzipan. As for the Maple Ham Hero, the appropriate wait time matched the quality of the food. The organization of the food shows that the staff care about their ingredients. They make it clear on their website that most of their partners provided locally sourced ingredients. If that is true, then this establishment deserves more attention, and I can see how Italian restaurants would rely on this deli for their ingredients. While the website does not scroll down with silky speed, it does provide a sense of welcoming ambiance with its deep, green color. I will say ultimately that the price of the Maple Ham Hero and the experience going to Tenth and Willow was worth it. Rating: 5/5 Stars I have hope that Tenth and Willow will continue to have relevance in Farmingdale, and among those who prioritize Italian cuisine and ingredients. Recommend To... Anyone just starting an Italian restaurant and is looking for key ingredients, since you would be supporting local producers while propping up your local business, thus creating a network of local businesses that help the community through the local multiplier effect. I also recommend to anyone looking to add more to their Italian-inspired cuisine and need suggestions about which meats, cheese, or spices to use. If you like Manhattan Special, then I would also recommend this establishment to you.

I had a tuna wrap (spinach wrap). The tuna was flavorful. My only issue was the spinach wrap. It took a little effort to bite through so I don't know if that means it wasn't as fresh. They had some other things I would like to try and will. As for the wrap, I would just call it a one off.
