This time, the hunt started on Saturday. Before we even walked into the dealership, we went ahead and prequalified with external financing. We made an appointment to test drive a vehicle at 3 pm. I highly encourage appointments. We arrived and we were assigned a sales agent, Sydney Fox. The member of our party who would be driving the vehicle ran about 15 minutes late. Sydney went ahead and washed the vehicle and got it ready for the test drive. We told her we were interested in other vehicles. She got our next option ready and we went for our drive. We came back and saw the next vehicle. The interior was a bit of a wreck, so we passed on the test drive. We went back to the drawing board. Found another vehicle, and another test drive. We broadened our search and found another vehicle, yet another test drive. Then, we stumbled upon the vehicle we decided on. Test drive was awesome. We came back and told Sydney we wanted it. She had to leave at 6 pm, so she set us up with Evan to finish the process. I logged into my insurance app, got a quote, and then the next page showed a drastically different payment layout. We told Evan we needed to pump the brakes on the sale until we could get our insurance figured out. They put the vehicle on hold for us until Monday 6 pm. On Monday morning, I got a text from Sydney inquiring about our interest in the vehicle. I told her we got a hold of our insurance, it's good, and we want the vehicle. We would be in at 6 pm to finalize the deal. We filled out the CarMax prefinancing, but there rate wasn't as good as our external source. She later messaged me and said we could work the process from home and it would be express delivery when we showed up at 6. I was a little hesitant, but with some encouragement, I said I would try. I had a hiccup in my external loan application. I had to call the business to have them set up automated payments, and we just went ahead and finished the loan processing. I logged back into my app, signed the loan, and then asked my husband to do the same. I then added the vehicle to my insurance policy and sent them a photo copy. I did all of this from the comfort of my home. We showed up at 6, checked in, waited maybe 20 minutes, signed some paperwork, and we were lead out to the vehicle around 6:45. That was express service if I say so myself.

That being said, I have to say that I have just had the most wonderful experience at Enterprise Car Sales. From the minute we walked on the lot, we were treated respectfully, honestly and were able to joke with our salesman, Mike Ellis. I HIGHLY recommend speaking with this man if you are in the market for a well-maintained used car. This man never pushed, never prodded, asked the appropriate questions and did it with a smile on his face. He was honest, forthcoming and just a pleasure to deal with. And he found me the car I wanted - that I loved. And then he brings in that pushy little person -- you know, the "closer" -- who goes over the financing with you. Except she wasn't. Lisa Darby was a pleasure to deal with - went through the information thoroughly and was honest as the day is long. She did her job efficiently and all with a smile on her face. And she drinks coffee :) I was a bit sad when I drove off the lot in my new/used dream car. A hug goodbye from both Mike and Lisa after I made them play staff photographer and sync my phone and go over features gave me a little tear in my eye. A dream team to be sure!

So, I spend an hour more to contact them again and their customer service chat person assured me that they would escalate the issue and someone would contact me. That was 6 weeks ago, and still no contact. When there is a problem, they say the customer is crazy (gaslight). Then, in public view they pretend like they care, but show they don't by privately ignoring the customer (fake public image). Enterprise car sales customer service is pathetic. Buy a car from a company that cares.

Mr Baca walked up to me introducing himself, so I ask is there anyway someone could take a look at my engine light. Maybe schedule me from the recall. He handed me off to an outstanding service specialist who immediately started the process. I was out by 9, completely satisfied with their outstanding customer service skills. The team of service professionals really made my day. No charge!!! My engine light was issue was explained to me & I was told what to prepare for in the future. No real problem at this time & they reset it. I highly recommend this company & their service team.

Within two days, I had to jump-start the Jeep twice. I returned to the dealership and was told this was normal because the vehicle had been sitting on the showroom floor for months. Mo promised that service would contact me, but no one did. He also promised to arrange detailing because the Jeep was dusty from sitting on the showroom floor, but there was no follow-up. After I called again, Mo and Emily scheduled a service appointment, but I was not told I could be without my vehicle for 6-8 hours, nor was the detailing coordinated. Most concerning, the Jeep would not start while I was in the service bay. Neither Mo nor the General Manager, Mike, has returned my calls. I recently moved to Albuquerque, and this has been an extremely disappointing first experience with a local business. Most importantly, I do not trust my brand-new vehicle to be reliable.

Mainly because financing a car and renting in LA on my income was next to impossible. So I moved out of state and had been riding my uncle's son's bike to get around. Albuquerque and Rio Rancho are no doubt car cities. I needed a car badly. I had passed by M&F Auto Sales frequently on my way to get coffee at Starbucks. One day I noticed a red HOT car parked on their lot. I gave them a call and got Darren Martin on the phone. I asked him if they offer $0 money down payment to purchase a used vehicle since moving here cost me a small fortune and I had no more money on hand to spend especially for a car. To my surprise he said yes they do offer no money down. The next day I met with Darren, we took said red HOT car for a spin, and in two hours flat he handed me the keys. Fortunately for me I have excellent credit which also took me years to rebuild after being reckless with it as a younger man. Darren told me, "it's my job to get you in this car if this is the one you want". So, Darren and Gio ran the numbers, got me 100% approved, we did the paperwork and next thing I know I'm driving my new/used Mercedes GLA 250 4Matic SUV home. Listen, M&F Auto Sales are like my heroes. Darren was incredibly patient and kind, and so was Gio. They both walked me through every single detail and made sure I fully understood how everything worked down to the T. I seriously cannot thank Darren and Gio enough for working with me to get me in this car in record time. Buying a car is typically an all day event, at least in LA it is. But here in NM, they seem to get it done much faster than I've ever seen before. I was fortunate to had moved to a place literally down the street, and very lucky I got Darren as my salesman. These are great guys that know what they're doing. Professional, patient, kind and friendly. So if you're in the Rio Rancho or Albuquerque area and you're looking for a used car at an unbeatable price...do yourself a favor and go to M&F off Southern Blvd SE. Ask for Darren Martin. Thank you, M&F and Darren!

Let me explain. My wife and I purchased a GMC Yukon on September 7. When we returned on Sept.8 for the emissions test, we pointed out that the sunroof was not working. After our salesperson tried unsuccessfully to get it to work, he stated that it will be fixed an d to make an appointment with the Servic Dep't. to have it fixed. I made an appointment for Sept. 24; the earliest time available. In the interim, the "Driver Assist Program" showed that it needed servicing with repeated screen messages. I called the service department to inform them of this and was assured that it would be "checked out" when I brought it in on Sept. 24th. On Sept. 25th, I brought it in. After two hours and 15 minutes, I was told that the sunroof motor needed to be replaced and it would cost me $879.13. They also said the "Driver Assist Program" was fine. I did not receive any diagnostic report or print-out to verify this. After considerable time and discussion with our salesperson who told us it would be taken care of, we left after being informed that we would be contacted by the Service Manager the next day, Friday the 24th. As no one had called by Monday the 28th, we stopped by the dealership. We were informed that the Service Manager was told DIRECTLY to order the parts, and we should make an appointment to (finally) have it fixed. We made an appointment as early as we could, Oct.13. Today. I have been here since 10 a.m. Around 12 noon, the service dep't called to say it was ready. On the way to the vehicle, I was informed that the Driver Assist Program checked out as 100% although, again, I was not given any documentation to verify that. I then asked about the sunroof motor replacement and was informed that it worked fine for the technician; thetefore they did nothing. It was only after I got irate in explaining that it was here to have the motor replaced, and that they had been told DIRECTLY to order the new motor back on Sept. 24th. He walked away mumbling. I went back to sit in the dealership. About 15 minutes later, the service guy comes to tell me that thay ordeted the part and it was out for delivery and it may take a couple of hours. It is now 2:30. I have been here over 4 1/2 hours for a repair that SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED on Sept. 24th. I will not give my own comment. I will let the facts speak for themselves.

Which is why when I had to take my late mom's Toyota Tundra in for a check up in order to assess its roadworthiness for the 2,500 mile drive back to Florida -- I was totally impressed to have a Toyota Master Technician on the job. These guys are the real deal -- we all know (don't we) of The Car Care Nut on YouTube, who gives Toyota Master Techs a great name and exemplifies trust and good ol' honest work. So being able to have a good, productive chat with a Master Tech is a rare honor indeed. Sadly, business is business -- so these chances are slim to none -- you might get a quick video tour, but its the actual interaction with your mechanic that really puts one's mind at ease. Truthfully in good ole Murrica where "the customer is always right (bs)" I don't blame businesses for protecting and shielding their most valued talent from the folks that can't tell their windshield fluid reservoir from their engine coolant tank. As for my trip, I was starved of time, so although the truck was roadworthy enough to get back home -- I just didn't have enough time in New Mexico to weed out all the kinks I wanted to. Now I am desperately hoping I can find a Master Tech back in Northern Florida who can match the knowledge and experience required for the job needed on my Tundra's engine ... here's to hoping the badge really carries the standard.
