During this situation, Mike made statements directly to us that were different from what he later reported to the company. When I contacted the company to address the matter and provide clarification, I was extremely disappointed by the way my concerns were handled. I specifically informed the representative that I have camera footage that supports what I am saying and provides evidence of the comments that were made. Despite this, the representative refused to acknowledge or seriously consider the evidence. Instead of listening to my concerns and reviewing the facts, she was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to properly address the situation. I called specifically to make a complaint and speak with a manager because I believe my mother deserves to be treated with honesty, respect, and fairness. It is unacceptable for an elderly customer to be treated this way, particularly when there is evidence available that could help establish what actually occurred. I am requesting that management take this complaint seriously, review the circumstances, and investigate the conflicting statements and the conduct of the employees involved. I am also prepared to provide the camera footage as evidence. I expect a response explaining how this matter will be addressed. The employee assured me it was waiting. After driving 1.5 hours to the store, I was handed a soundbar in "Fair" condition -- not the one I ordered. When I pointed this out, the employees didn't even bother to check the order properly at the counter. Only then did they admit my "Good" condition soundbar had already been given away to another customer. How does this even happen? Why confirm my order if you can't keep the correct item aside? This level of carelessness shows a complete lack of accountability. My time, gas, and effort were completely wasted, and I left empty-handed despite doing everything right on my end. Best Buy needs to fix their open-box handling process immediately -- inventory should be tracked accurately, and confirmed orders should never be handed off to someone else. At the very least, employees should care enough to double-check what they are handing to customers instead of brushing it off. This experience has left me feeling completely disrespected and deeply disappointed. I expected far better, and unless changes are made, I'll be rethinking where I shop in the future.

Last time I needed some refrigerator water line, and the person behind the counter listened carefully to me, went and cut me the line, then selected the water shut off and exact fittings I needed for barely $11. The big box store wanted to charge $26 plus tax for an all in one solution that didn't fit, because that was the one thing they had in stock from their suppliers that fit _most_ refrigerators, so it must fit mine too, right? I currently need both a new pressure reducer for my main line, and a new garage utility sink, and I'll be going to Ferguson for both. Everyone working here is an actual working plumber, what Home Depot used to hire 30 years ago, not a "late for my break" 21 year-old whose plumbing knowledge starts and ends with a garden hose and where the water heater aisle is located. Do yourself a favor and just go here first next time you need anything plumbing related; they have some nice tools as well.
