Javier repaired my dryer during the pandemic. I forgot to leave a review. He was prompt, provided great service and had my dryer repaired weeks before he thought parts would be available, all in the midst of the pandemic. Fast forward to today, and my washer just bit the dust, and I called Javier. He was out the next day, did a thorough diagnostic, and took the washer apart. It is unfortunate that I have to put this kind on review concerning Javier. I called concerning an LG dishwasher and an grinding sound that was coming from the bottom of the appliance when it was circulating the water. It did not display an error code. I took the time to watch several repair videos concerning my model so that I personally had a better knowledge of how my dishwasher worked. I deduced it was probably the circulation pump/ the drain pump/ or the dishwasher diverter motor. Javier showed up on time and I told him my concerns. I then left him alone to diagnose... it was then I realized he was watching videos like I did to figure it out and came back to tell me that I should probably replace the sump pump. I questioned why and how he came to that conclusion and he replied they just wear out over time. I asked him if he had called the LG Tech center to help guide him through and he said "No". At that point I should have paid him his 95.00 and sent him on his way, but I gave him the benefit on the doubt and allowed him to continue working. We ordered a Dishwasher diverter pump and it took three weeks till he came back with the part. In the meantime, I am doing my families dishes by hand. Needless to say this part did not solve the problem and I asked him to check the circulation pump. He worked for almost two hours and could not get the pump off. He decided, he did not want to fix the problem, especially since I was now questioning his ability. He also relayed a story about high end Wolf Refrigerator's and how you can charge a $1,000.00 for a visit just changing the Freon in the appliance. This story said to me that he was more interested in quick easy money than actually having the skills to help repair an appliance. I paid the man for his time and the part ordered, which was a mistake on my part. I was very unhappy but determined to fix it myself!! I ordered a Circulation Pump from Sear's parts for half of what he quoted me and my son and I had it repaired and running within a hour after the part arrived. Side Note .. The part only took 3 days to get to me from Arizona. I am grateful that I learned to repair this myself so I can avoid Scammers like Javier. Javier, a word of advice, if you do not know how to repair something please have the humility to admit it and quite cheating people out of their money. read more

When I called I got a message that voicemail had not been set up for that number. Not very professional. He did call back right away though with "Hi, I got a call from this number." He didn't identify himself. Also not very professional. Then when I explained my problem his answer was "Oh, I'm sorry but we don't work on those." An all around unsatisfying experience. read more

I called Alpha Appliance Repair this morning and spoke to Javier. I explained to him that my electric dryer would not start. After I answered a few questions he said he could be out this afternoon at 2. He arrived on time (actually 15 minutes earlier than stated) and promptly diagnosed the trouble and replaced the thermal fuse. He was courteous, respectful and pleasant to work with. His fee for service was quite reasonable. I will use Javier in the future and highly recommend his services. Easily earned 5 stars. read more

We were extremely disappointed with the dishwasher repair service provided by Javier Lopez. My husband Pradiptya had contacted Javier to fix our tenant's dishwasher. He indicated that he would need to order parts and fix it. We had paid him but just after a few days, the dishwasher started leaking again. So, my husband contacted him and he claimed that he needed to order another part to fix it and we asked hm to go ahead. After several days, we got no response from him and the tenant complained. We again contacted him and urged him to fix the problem. He went and claimed to fix it but again the dishwasher started leaking. After that we made several attempts to contact him and he kept on ignoring our phone calls. Finally, after many attempts, my husband managed to get a hold of him on the phone. Javier claimed that he would give no warranty but he could still try to fix it if we paid more. We realized that Javier was basically just experimenting with the dishwasher with no warranty that he would get the job done. Ultimately, we realized that it would have been better to simply order a new dishwasher, which we have proceeded to do. We are disappointed because he is unresponsive, does not stand by the quality of his work, and kept on increasing the cost of the repair work, which was not even done. I bought a dishwasher from Costco. The night before the delivery, Tyrell from Alpha Appliance texted me to confirm the installation for the next day (Saturday 4/10). The unit arrived as scheduled, but when I texted Tyrell to find out when the installers would arrive, he said, "Let me check and get back to you." But he didn't, so I texted again to inquire. 3 hours later he texted, "Running out of time, let's reschedule to Monday." I expressed my unhappiness (politely, but clearly, as Monday was a busy workday). I did receive a text apologizing and explaining that an installer had been on their way but had a "family emergency" and that Saturdays were hard with not enough installers and that he felt bad because he'd told me someone was coming. Ok, what time Monday, I asked, explaining my meeting schedule. No reply. Monday came and went. No word from Tyrell. Tuesday (4/13): a call in to Costco revealed I'd been "rescheduled" to between 1 and 6:30 PM. (When I pointed out that rescheduling someone usually involves letting them know the new schedule, the Costco rep apologized and told me I could find an installer on my own and get credited $150.) At 6:26 PM Tyrell texted to say he'd been delayed and promised to come Weds. Weds (4/14): no word from Tyrell. I texted him at 2:55 PM. At 5:22 PM he said he could come "late this evening." I asked "What time?" No reply. No show. Thursday (4/15): I texted Tyrell at 7:47 AM: "Please come today." At 6:19 PM, Tyrell responded saying I was being rescheduled to Saturday 4/17 due to "challenges in the field." On Saturday 4/17, at 11:54 AM, Tyrell texted again to say he'd come personally to install the dishwasher on Sunday 4/18. By this point, I'd installed it myself (another several hours of my life I'll never get back, but at least I have clean dishes again). I will NEVER use Alpha Appliance for anything, nor will I order anything from Costco that requires installation unless I can do it myself. read more
