I called yesterday afternoon to schedule service. Service was scheduled for 3PM today. Cole arrived an hour ealier, because he was free, and in the neighborhood. 5 minutes after we meet, Cole diagnoses the issue to either the gas solenoids, or the gas to the dryer is shut off. He asks before replacing any parts... Is the gas valve going to the dryer turned on? The gas valve going to the dryer was not turned on. A contractor mistakingly turned that valve off a few days ago. It was worth paying the diagnostic fee, not just because Cole resolved our issue in less time than I can hold my breath, but because I'm not stressing about finding a good appliance repair service anymore. read more

Contacted this business about a broken icemaker in our frig. They came for the initial service call, then 2 more times trying to fix it. They claimed the part they were sent was no good each time. I asked for a refund for the bad part and was assured I'd get one. I contacted the owner many times and each time I was told he was coming over with the refund. This started at Thanksgiving, now it's May... still no refund. Save your money, hire someone else. As an addendum to this review, I need to say I have now received my refund. I had a very frustrating experience with this company. I was told one thing about what was wrong with my dryer, but it didn't feel accurate, and there was zero follow-through. I had to keep calling over and over just to get updates, and most of the time I didn't even get a response. Communication was poor, and the lack of accountability made the whole situation worse. At this point, I don't trust this company for any future service. Be careful if you decide to use them--you might end up paying more than necessary for a problem that isn't clearly explained or properly handled. read more

Terrible. Came to look at our washer and give us a quote to fix it. The guy was here for 5 mins, said he would get us the quote and $95 later, we never heard from him. When we got a hold of someone there, they said the repair tech couldn't do or recommend anything because our washer wasn't hooked up. He NEVER said anything about needing it hook up when he was here... it was disconnected because it needs repair. They would come back out but it would cost us an additional $95. Useless company, terrible techs who don't know how to communicate, a waste of $95. They've had multiple chances to make this service right and obviously don't care to. I can't even call it a "bad service"; more like I was swindled!! Yesterday, The very novice tech showed up at my house to fix a single burner on my stove. Immediately, he said my model was "commercial" so he called for assistance. He provided the model info while the other person google the schematics. After a while, without even touching a any of his tools, he said that the repairs would cost around $600 and that I could (1) leave it as it is and use the remainder burners or (2) purchase a new stove...those were my only option...WOW. For that diagnostic, (diagnostic, really?), I paid $55 dollars. I was very disappointed, to say the least but mostly furious! I couldn't believe it. I chose this repair service for the good reviews but I was swindle out of my money! I can't even described how incompetent they were; they didn't even touche the appliance!!!! The Tech just went by what the other person on the other side of the phone, and who never saw then appliance, told him. Incredible!! UPDATE: Days later, Frankie, owner, followed up by phone, acknowledge how the suppport/trianing (of his tech) had broken down and apologized. He offered to returned my money but I preferred to get the actual diagnostic which he did the following day. He told me what was wrong and provided repaired cost. Frankie was very transparent and conceding. I however, opted not to do the fix so I cannot attest to technical skills. read more

Our 1- year-old microwave stopped cooking food. Frankie's came out to check it. The repairman was on time and efficient. It was too much to repair it, so I paid the repairman for his visit and he left. He was courteous and honest which I appreciated greatly. Unfortunately, he left the microwave completely disconnected so that nothing worked. Frankie's came back out immediately and reconnected the microwave so we at least have the ventilator and light back. They responded in less than 5 minutes. Arrived in 15 minutes. They came to see my 3 year old "GE 4.5 cu. High-Efficiency Front Load Washing Machine with Steam, ENERGY STAR" and as it turned out the people from Home Depot didn't installed it properly. They failed to remove the orange guards that should only be placed when the washer is about to be moved. So with that being said, it's a pretty good washer if it worked all these years. I also had another washer, a top load and they were able to fix it at the moment, they had the part with them. So my questions/problems were resolved in about 1 hour and a half at a very reasonable price. Really great job! I will be definitely calling Frankies for any future repairs. read more

We called Frankie's on a Monday morning and they were able to get someone to come out and look at our dryer the same day by 1pm. The repairman arrived on time and was very efficient with his work. He offered us various suggestions on what we could do with our broken dryer and even referred us to the dryers the store has on hand. We really appreciate the honesty when it comes to this type of work and the prices were great as well. They are very fair in the prices they quote you for and don't nickel and dime you like other places. We would definitely recommend Frankie's to anyone looking for a repairman that is honest, reliable, and fair priced! Very nice and professional but went a month without an oven while they tried to figure out my oven problem. They ordered 2 parts with no luck. Finally they said they didn't want to spend more on trying to fix it because it would cost me and them both more $. I ended up loosing the 59.00 dio gnostic fee but solution was never found. At the end, I ended up having to spend 2500.00 on a new oven and trashing a 4 year old oven that Frankie could not repair.
