Cole arrived an hour ealier, because he was free, and in the neighborhood. 5 minutes after we meet, Cole diagnoses the issue to either the gas solenoids, or the gas to the dryer is shut off. He asks before replacing any parts... Is the gas valve going to the dryer turned on? The gas valve going to the dryer was not turned on. A contractor mistakingly turned that valve off a few days ago. It was worth paying the diagnostic fee, not just because Cole resolved our issue in less time than I can hold my breath, but because I'm not stressing about finding a good appliance repair service anymore.
