I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Overall, Munz was professional, honest, communicative, and highly skilled from start to finish. I could not recommend this company enough. Very frustrating. Don't fall for the 15 year warranty like I did…read more I am writing my honest review after having my roof done by Alpha Roofing in January of 2026. I don't like writing reviews and most certainly don't like hurting people's businesses. I understand a business takes up a lot of time an effort to build and maintain while being easily hurt by reviews dropped casually over petty grievances putting somebody's living at risk. I do think taking thoughtful accountability can be a major driving force in the improvement of a business though, and that is the spirit in which I write this review. In a nutshell here is what happened to me. In December of 2025 I notice a leak in the ceiling of my baby child's bedroom. I call a roofer to take a look, and the ridge of the roof had been pulled off by the wind. Apparently, there were multiple vulnerable spots and the leak in my son's bedroom was just one of them which appeared to come from the chimney's lack of flashing (which was flagged by home inspection when I bought the house). The recommendation was to replace the roof. First offer was 10K with no warranty but after I spoke with Alpha Roofing they offered 7.6K with a 15 year warranty. I took the second offer because it sounded better plus this roofer had been recommended to me by a friend. So, the roof was done in January and in March the same leak appeared in my baby's room only 2 months after the roof was done. I get on the roof to check the chimney and notice that the flashing that had been done was a very poor job. Not only was it not step flashing (which is the standard practice and the logical thing to do here since the chimney was leaking and prompted the roof repair to begin with) but it was not even caulked around the entire perimeter surrounding the top seam of the flashing. When I showed the pictures to my home inspector, he said the flashing they did was called "Philly flashing" AKA "stupid flashing" (his words not mine). It was only the counter flashing with no step flashing laid in overlapping fashion with the shingles. I call Jim Barton (the owner of Alpha Roofing as far as I know and who had been referred to me by a friend) and he sends a couple of his workers to caulk the rest of the seam around the chimney flashing. I ask if the solution is not to do the step flashing since that is the industry standard and because my house inspector told me that the caulking would have to be redone after 2 years or so (and I paid for 15 year warranty). Jim offers to send his guys to redo it every 2 years on my bill. I tell him I don't like that because the price tag of 7.6K I paid included 15 years of warranty. After me basically wrestling with this issue over text messages and many ignored calls, Jim agrees to redo the flashing around the chimney. So, after a couple more months and a new leak in the same spot of by son's bedroom he finally sends his guys again but, surprise: he only does the counterflashing again with no step flashing. The only upgrade was cutting the reglets on the chimney wall to tuck in the top seam of the flashing sheet. I feel I have been wronged by this person. The only time Jim reached out to me was to call me in the middle of the weekend to ask for the payment of the service done the previous day. After that I have been forced to work around his schedule to communicate with him and I can't have a reasonable conversation. This is very unprofessional and shows that he is totally fine leaving me at a very uncomfortable position waiting for my roof to leak again and only then get him to do something about it. I understand that talking to clients can be frustrating and nerve wrecking for a business owner worried about lawsuits and liability. However, I have been very reasonable and waited 9 months before dropping this review after being basically ignored all this time. I am almost ready to abandon this 15-year warranty. I am more than willing to withdraw this review if I see serious and consequential action to make amends.

I got his name and number from my vet actually so I had to cancel the appointment because water was pouring out of my ceiling which I thought was a roofing issue from my porch. It turned out that it was a heating pipe that split. My daughter told me that the floor upstairs was soaked. I ran upstairs I pulled up the carpet and it was scolding to the touch. There was a lot of steam coming off the floor. I ended up calling the fire company going way over the extreme, but by that point I had already called Dale Rimmer. He ended up getting here as fire company was leaving ( which was 20 minutes ) He did explain on the phone that it was probably just steam coming off the floor. He remained with me at the house until I had somebody able to come out and fix the pipe( the fire company turned off my boiler as it was pouring water into my house). I'm also leaving a review for my Fire company. I've never needed them in all my years living here, but they were downright amazing and the same thing with the police downright amazing. I cannot be thankful enough for my community and the fact that Dale was the voice a reason and calmness in my crazy day.!!!

Dale was involved during the entire process and the stone mason and carpenter he brought in were great. The porch and stone work turned out better than we expected. We also had a new flagstone walkway installed and our deck refurbished. The new siding, gutters and downspouts completed the makeover of our home's exterior. Dale was personally involved and was quick to answer and questions or concerns we had. All of the people took pride in their work and the results show it.

If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing to deal with your homeowners…read moreinsurance following a tree swiping the back of your house, let me give you some advice. Last March 2024, during an especially windy day a country club's tree came down and whacked the rear of my house, starting from the highest roof, ripping down wires and landed on my detached garage where it sat until PECO could make it safe. I initially gave the go ahead for my insurer, who I'll call SF, to send out a contractor to assess the damage. Well someone came out, slapped a tarp on the hole in the garage, but seemed dismissive of the house damage. And then I heard nothing for the longest time. So, getting concerned I called Impriano to get their opinion, as is my right, since I had a good experience with them 13 years ago with a new roof. Jack Impriano came out and did a very thorough inspection finding a lot more damage than SF's contractor did, including a split rafter in the garage roof. He looked at the plan for repair that the adjuster had drawn up finding it completely inadequate, so he drew up his own. He basically worked directly with the adjuster, all while updating me about what was going on. There were many problems such as the SF contractor sending the wrong information to SF that led them to believe the work was complete when nothing was repaired. The contractors invoice included pictures that wasn't even my property. Jack Impriano handled everything, everything is repaired/replaced, their crew came out in the most inhospitable weather and did an excellent job. You could tell how well done my 13 year old roof was when shingles were removed. It's amazing how nice our new roof and siding looks. It's peace of mind working with a company that takes pride in their work, and there's good reason they've been around for so long. I didn't realize they also handle windows which is on my to do list. I don't think I would trust anyone else. Thank you Jack and Ed and the rest of your hard working crew, including the office, you guys were great, can't thank you enough.
