I just wrote the same review on google but am posting it here as well as I was so happy with my siding job. I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Overall, Munz was professional, honest, communicative, and highly skilled from start to finish. I could not recommend this company enough. This team of guys did a phenomenal job on my parent's house. We are so happy with the work they did. My parents hired a different contractor at first and ended up getting fired after 2 days on the job. We should have went with Munz from the beginning. They fixed everything the other group messed up and then completed the job that was intended. My parents had their cedar shake siding replaced with Hardie siding and their house looks brand new! Freddy, Dastan, and Talay were a great team. They worked so hard every day they were here and were meticulous in their work. They were so helpful with other things as well. A few times they would see me trying to lift something heavy and one of them came right over and said let me get that for you. Freddy was such a sweet guy in charge and if you ever needed anything you could always just give him a call. The guys cleaned up every day after they worked even when it started to rain on them which happened a few times. These guys were the best and we are so happy with the work they did. read more

This company is very unorganized ,I waited 2 hrs for someone to come give me a m estimate , no call no show ,I wouldn't trust them to do work , told a neighbor and they told me this company gave him an estimate for windows when it was supposed to be just for capping, Unprofessional. read more

Andrew shows up to quote a siding job, 1100sq.ft., I tell him it's just me & my 90 yr. old mom, he has the nerve to quote $40,000.00 and when I wouldn't sign a contract right then got incredibly pissy and rude. I can only feel once he knew it was 2 old ladies he had his sites set on ripping us off but good! Turns out it was actually a $20,000.00 job. read more

They were horrible. Mike came out. Ran a drone across my roof and said he could fix my roof leak. $13,500 later my roof continued to leak. They replaced the two small dormers because he said that's where it was leaking from. The very first rain, it continued to leak. Many phone calls later and two visits from "repairmen", still leaking. Then finally get a call from a supervisor and was told that they weren't repairing the roof. Only the dormers. Nice right?!! Don't trust them or use them. Especially do not trust the salesman "Mike Munz" as he introduced himself as. read more

Upon our meeting with Connor for just a quote on siding, everything was great and thoroughly explained on what needed to be done as well as recommendations and extra add ons, such as roofing, windows etc. When that was all done and it was time to talk about the total cost and the payment plan options which was very clear and I knew it was going to be on the more expensive side. He started talking more in depth about the plans and how nothing has to be rushed or paid up front etc. But when it came time to discuss and think on this decision with my spouse, Connor became confused and figured that we would just say yes right then and there and not be considering other companies and quotes. We made it clear several times we were getting other quotes and weren't decided on what we want to do just yet and we got some push back. We also had to ask him for a few minutes of privacy to discuss this and when he left, he left his iPad and we found that we were being recorded so had to go into the other room to talk about what we wanted to do. Finally we were done and he came back inside and we told him that at this time we are not moving forward and we had a few other companies come out to look still to come and that we would let him know if we want to move forward to which we got the "well this price is only good for right now and that's as low as we can go and you won't get that price anywhere else and if you get lower than it won't be good quality etc..." I can tell he was angry about us not jumping on it right away and not giving us even the rest of the day to think about such a big and expensive decision. I later got several calls and text messages from the company asking why we didn't pursue them and they thought everyone was on the same page, so when I responded back, I heard nothing. So unfortunately, we did not go with them and chose someone else who did not pressure us and actually worked with us and our needs and financial comfort. read more

Had gutter guards installed since I should not be on the 2nd floor roof cleaning gutters at 70 years old. Was told that these gutter guards were excellent and would be fine. A year later i am back on the roof cleaning gutters from all the spinners (Whirly Maple pods) stuck in the little holes of the guards. A broom would not work and the leaf blower would not work. I had to then run an extension cord and a shop vac to suck them out. they piled up on top of the guards and jammed up under the shingles. An hour and a half later they were 90% cleaned out. I would have been better off buying something with a mesh cover from Home Depot doing it myself and saving $1,800. read more

Have to update as I was advised my insurance would help cover some of the costs since the roof failed and there was storm damage. They had documentation and would work with them directly to provide backup. Not sure I would have spent more than 3 times the cost of my original roof if nothing was going to be covered by my insurance. Unfortunately, I will have to do more shopping around in the future. The people who did the did a nice but obviously they're a different branch of the company they come out they tell you everything you hear your family. You're this. You're that until they get your money. They did a nice job, but they never completed the job. We've been waiting six months for paperwork we've gone back-and-forth with about 20 times now if they can't finish the paperwork, I could just imagine God forbid if we had problems with the roof, you would not get the work done. I would not recommend using these people. They talk a lot of BS. read more

This is a terrible company to deal with from an administrative standpoint. I have called 8 different times for insurance claim information, connected with someone who says his name is David and he insured me I would get a return call from a manager. I have not recieved a single call yet. It is obvious that management does not care about follow up, has no real interest helping you with your insurance claim and is only concerned with getting your check. I suggest you find a more reliable company with which t deal. read more

Sabio, Dre and the whole crew are the consummate professionals. The crew worked diligently and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Everyone was polite and courteous. Sabio showed exceptional attention to detail. He was not initially happy with work done on the fascia. He instructed his guys to redo the problem area until it was correct. Based on the finished product and the quality of work, I will certainly recommend Munz Roofing and Siding, if you want a professional result. Walter's crew came and replaced all our gutters and down spouts in less than one day. Stanley and the team worked effortlessly and took pride in their work. They were professional and courteous. This work in combination with the roof replacement looks very smart and worth the investment. Hired this company to replace my fascia board caping and drip edge. Two guys that don't speak Ingles with no notification showed up and installed what I would consider a shoddy work the fascia board was cut short and when I reached out and asked about it I was told they would look into it hopefully they fix this issue. Definitely didn't asking for half a fascia board installed. read more

I had Michael from Munz come over and give me a bid for gaf Hdv roof. I gave them a 30% deposit and got an installation date the following week. In addition to roof, Michael recommended that they install "smart vents at a cost of $3200 for quantity 80. Since I have no soffits, I agreed. Trouble started when delayed due to iMunz sending for permit to wrong township. Work finally began and the crew worked well and quickly. I did notice that they used the existing flashing as opposed to new ones. I was to get 2 sections installed with smart vents $3200 . Later I found out just one section got the smart vent despite agreement with salesman. Other minor problems arose as bathroom vent was damaged and several gutter dents. I was very disappointed with Munz and do not recommend them. read more

I can't say enough good things regarding my experience with Munz Roofing. I had contacted several roofing companies for quotes, only to get answering machines and no return calls. I was pleasantly surprised to have a live person answer when I contacted Munz Roofing. Even more surprising was that a sales rep was available to visit the same day! Jeff Lewis was that sales rep, who proved to me he genuinely understood my needs, and was completely knowledgeable about the products and process for the roof replacement on my detached garage. He wasn't pushy or condescending, which I greatly appreciated. The materials and dumpster were delivered the day before the job was scheduled. Freddy Vallecillo was the Project Manager. He and the team arrived on time, ready to go. I walked the loft with Freddy, in agreement with what plywood should be replaced. He was a pleasure to deal with, as were the roofing team.
