I purchased an older home in 2017 and the siding did not look bad but 6 years later I noticed lots of problems. My biggest problem was it was always so cold in my home. I had a few windows replaced and the attic insulated but that did not really help. When the windows were replaced I noticed significant deterioration underneath the siding and asked the contractor about it. He told me it happens and replaced the windows but did not reframe them. I thought about selling my house to avoid dealing with the problems. I had three different companies give me an estimate for the siding. The first was way too expensive. The second company Cherry Roofing and Siding in Cherry Hill, gave me a competitive quote but were unable to do the job. . I later found out that the company is having internal problems and they are not doing a great job for many of their clients. I was very fortunate that they never touched my house. I almost gave up, but then I decided to use the Better Business Bureau. I found American Construction. They have an A+ rating. They are also located in Cherry Hill. When I called I was able to talk to one of the owners Gregg. I told him about my negative experiences with the other companies and he promised me nothing but integrity. Gregg kept his promise, his team was incredible. As I said earlier my house is old and had lots of deterioration underneath the siding and because the siding was poorly installed there was also some water damage. I expected the final price to be more than the original quote, but it was well worth it. American Construction replaced all of the damaged plywood, gave me new insulation , framed the windows and put on James Hardie siding. Not only did they restore my house, they were quick and professional. They started on Monday and by Thursday the project was finished. Friday they came back and cleaned up, placing all of my personal items back in their original spots. Doing something this major on your house can be very stressful and inconvenient. . American Construction took all my stress away and I did not suffer any inconvenience at all.. I feel like I have a brand new house. I feel so much better about living here now that I know what is going on underneath the siding. I have peace and joy about my home because of American Construction. Lucas answered while on an existing job. He was very honest saying he can't drop by to make an assessment. Knowing the importance of the situation, he said he'll have his father drop by to take a look. The father (was it Joe?) came by as promised and saw that the previous roofer didn't put flashing around a portion of the chimney. He gave a couple of possible fixes and I picked the more expensive one. He gave me a break on price if i went with the more expensive fix which i appreciated. Before showing up for the work due to budgeting issues i changed to the lower price solution. He didn't have any problems with this change. He and his other son (not Lucas) came on the day as promised. The funny thing was I didn't know they were there until i heard banging outside! They ripped some of the old roof tiles, installed new flashing and overlay them with some leftover tiles I had laying around. They also caulked around other parts of the chimney. They cleaned up their mess. There were aome storms afterwards and no leak! Thx to Lucas for knowing the importance of the problem and having your father and brother fit me into their schedule. And thx to father and son (was it Joe and Ezekiel?!) for fixing the leak! I would definitely consider them to put in a new roof when the time comes!

I hired Munz Roofing and Siding to complete a siding project, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. From the start, their consultant, Stephen M., came out and provided helpful education, a thorough walkthrough, zero pressure, and a timely quote for several different product options. Munz ultimately provided the best quote among the three local companies that came out. Eric G., their general manager, also came out to review the plan and clearly outlined the steps they would take to protect our garden beds during the siding removal and installation. That level of communication and attention to detail gave us a lot of confidence going into the project. Project Manager Chris and installer Oleg then completed the project in 9.5 days, which was even half a day ahead of their original 10-day estimate. Chris checked in every day to see if we had any questions or concerns, and Oleg's work was outstanding. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch, and he spent at least a half hour cleaning up every day before leaving. One thing that really stood out was that Oleg took the time to point out how well the previous siding job had been done when the house was built about 40 years ago. He noted that the original wrapping had been applied with meticulous precision, which helped explain why there was minimal water damage to the existing boards. That honesty was appreciated, especially because there was never a moment where the crew attempted to upsell us on unnecessary work. Overall, Munz was professional, honest, communicative, and highly skilled from start to finish. I could not recommend this company enough. They fixed everything the other group messed up and then completed the job that was intended. My parents had their cedar shake siding replaced with Hardie siding and their house looks brand new! Freddy, Dastan, and Talay were a great team. They worked so hard every day they were here and were meticulous in their work. They were so helpful with other things as well. A few times they would see me trying to lift something heavy and one of them came right over and said let me get that for you. Freddy was such a sweet guy in charge and if you ever needed anything you could always just give him a call. The guys cleaned up every day after they worked even when it started to rain on them which happened a few times. These guys were the best and we are so happy with the work they did.
