I came in three different times to try shipping out packages, and one of the Older women's with colored hair told me should couldn't help me because they closed in 20mins and needed to come back Monday to fill out papers and do it with a nasty ass atittude Just straight up lazy ass workers here. Then another two times the black lady in the front didn't know anything about anything. instead of asking her coworkers or trying to help me ship things out. Why are they hiring stupid ass people to work here that have no knowledge. Why are they hiring people that don't have no costumer service skills!! Super annoying.

It seems that the post office would know Fridays are busy, especially right when they open, and would schedule more than one employee to help customers. Unfortunately, the clerk was very slow and spent a great deal of time chatting with customers instead of helping move the line along. At one point, someone was mailing an air conditioner, and the clerk started talking with the customer about buying it and negotiating the price while the rest of us stood there waiting. That was frustrating and unprofessional. The reason I was there was because, after nearly 20 years, the key to my neighborhood community mailbox no longer works. I was told I would have to pay $50 for a locksmith to come out, replace the lock, and provide a new key--even though the mailbox is part of a community mailbox system and doesn't belong to me personally. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The customer service was not helpful, and it felt like the only solution offered was for me to pay more money. Experiences like this make it easy to understand why many people are becoming frustrated with the postal service.

I applied for a passport and accidently filled the form out in blue ink. Instead of being told "its your responsibility to ensure you filled the form out correctly" like the PO off of Boulder Ave would have told me, the man said "No worries! go ahead over to the back counter and fill out this new form with that black inked pen and we'll get ya all settled!" While this may sound insignificant to some, there was a customer that also had an appointment for her passport right after me. And to compensate he pulled someone away from the back to help finish the last 2-3 minutes of my passport and start the first 2-3 minutes of hers at the same time. I left my pictures for my passport at home due to being in a rush, and even though I only selected a "non photo passport" appointment, he still quickly took my picture and adjusted the price. Even the other employees had a smile and shared some laughs with me. 10/10 night and day difference between the PO by my house and this one. I will now only be coming here for any Post Office related concerns.
