My first time at this post office, the building is gorgeous. Parking is risky just because you're on a main street. My issue is the employee assumed I stole my packaging that I use to ship out orders.. First of all, I have no idea why she would even think that considering they didn't even have the same packing I had in their store. And she asked me multiple times "How do I know you bought these, you could have taken them and took them home" Extremely disrespectful. I had meta glasses on, and recorded the front and me walking in, so the evidence is there that I didn't steal anything. I had to drop off a package at ups i found out after talping my box and seeing the shipping return label lol totally my fault. This building is beautiful, historic building, appears to be downtown by transportation hub. Lots of ppl who using public transportation for work, great hustle and bustle. The old gentleman was pleasant and made me laugh after he pointed out UPS NOT USPS LOL. The parking is dangerous, cars are swiping by at high speed, big busses and trucks not a safe parking location. Absolutely ridiculous customer service, the moral is extremely low..the Employees don't wanna work...there's no team support, 1 Employee would actually watch another employee work when tge line is extremely long...Materials are very often not available..and the Employees literally move at a snails pace...Definitely needs younger Employees and oversight. read more

These people don't listen and they don't have the best customer service either. I told the African American middle aged male that I had a fragile item to ship off, there needed to be a fragile label placed on the box. Guess what!? My friend received the package with a broken glass. Gets better, there was no "fragile" label on the box. I kept telling the male that the item was fragile. I guess he was to concerned with complimenting the way my voice sounded. Dude do your job and focus on what I'm telling you and not liking the sound of how I talk. Maybe my friend wouldn't have ended up with broken items. My advice is to go the another post office guys. Take that extra few minutes to drive over to another one. You'll thank me. Lol. Large post office gets pretty busy. Has packing supplies well stocked. Friendly staff and they try to get you in and out. They also have a mailbox outside in front of there building. Beware that it has some type of sticky substance on the inside door. This is from people trying to steal mail. So be careful and re-open the slot to make sure your mail went down. I have on many occasions found mail stuck to door slot when dropping my mail off. Now I'm nice so i make sure it goes down with my mail. But not all people are so nice so please check it. read more

A HUGE thank you to Eileen who was extremely helpful! I accidentally had a package shipped but didn't realize it had my old work address and did NOT want it to be shipped there and called USPS (it was over Labor Day weekend) and they told me they would hold the package for me and not deliver it. When I went to pick it up early in the morning Tuesday, it was already out for delivery I immediately felt anxious because I did not want to go to my previous employer and ask for my package. Eileen was very kind and told me she would call the carrier and tell them not to deliver it and assured me if I came back in the afternoon she would have it, and she did! We ask ourselves why people feel like we no longer need the US Postal Service ....I've had a personal experience that is very alarming. A friend mailed a thank you card with a small but one of a kind gift inside it and when I receive the envelope which was delayed it was enclosed in the cellophane envelope with a sticker from the post office stating that there were no contents in the envelope and that it was opened when in fact it had a inch and a half slit at the seam at the end of the envelope where it was processed through San Bernardino Postal Service and the person who handling it conveniently took the gift out of the envelope!!!! This is disgusting that it isn't safe to mail anything without worry of theft!!!! Shame on you San Bernardino postal service! AND, we are suppose to be reassured that our ballots are safe. If I could I would have given no star, the staffs here are just rude and lazy, my package label had created on Friday and trying to drop it off on the following Monday with a scan and receipt, the lady said can't scan and no receipt because my label has been past for three days. It was the most stupid reason from an usps staff for being this lazy, they closed on weekends and I created my label on Friday night, I just need a receipt to showed the acceptance of this package, they said no, and turned around, wow, seems like they don't care your packages at all, not sure if they plan to do something behind, if not what's so scare of just do a scan n print a receipt out? read more

This is a fairly typical post office with quick service. It has a rather spacious interior and is usally kept in stock for packaging materials. The staff is friendly and I've never had a problem with this location before. The only concern would be that this site is located in downtown San Bernardino and will many times have homeless in the area. read more

WORST post office ever. Elieen how about you learn wtf your talking about. This place will never help you out. They lost my mail and changed the story so many times because they don't know what's the "updates" they said my mail was delivered and it wasn't. I go in to pick it up and supposedly it was sent already that day to be delivered. I get home and guess what it's gone. And noooo help what so ever just 200$ down the drain.... I have never got mail stolen before and I know for a fact no one did and the carrier took advantage and kept my shit. FUCK this usps. If I could give a negative review I would. I was told via phone call to customer service to walk into the post office and show them a receipt for overnight mail express that a week and a half later has still not been delivered for a refund. This post office refused to give refund stating that even if it's lost they would need the final delivery scan before giving my refund that they admitted I was entitled to. Upon requesting the supervisor I waited 25 mins and was informed that she wouldn't be out for even longer because she was assisting to unload incoming mail at 440 rather than address the line of 5 additional customer issues that had accumulated behind mine. I am currently filing a complaint through phone customer service regarding this particular location. read more

My mom came to this location on 1/29/19 to return a package, and the lady that helped her was so rude. She right away told her she couldn't return the package because it contained liquids inside ( proactiv) well let me tell you I came to this location before to return a package exactly the same with no issues. So idk why she was giving her a hard time. She even told her to open the package and put all bottles in Ziploc bags and wrap them in plastic and all this unnecessary bullshit. Be warned!!!! Do not mail anything from the post boxes on the side of this post office. I attempted to mail something through the priority mailbox. There was glue all along the top of it and my package was sticking to the top. When I finally pushed it all the way in so that it wasn't visible, it occurred to me that someone likely put the glue there to steal packages easily. I reported the issue to the post office and they claimed multiple thefts from those boxes. If this is the case - why not shut those boxes down? That package was worth almost $200 in returned clothing. It never arrived and the tracking number shows it was never shipped. I took pictures of the box and a man in a hat and t-shirt that was hovering around it and reported it to the US postal inspector. I will never mail anything from here again. read more

The hours on yelp are false, they are not open on Saturdays from 10:00- 4:00 they are open from 10:00 to 12:30!!

This post office is horrible when it comes to wait times. I work in the area and have attempted to go there several times during my lunch break to buy stamps; can't get them at my local post office because they are closed by the time I get home. Each time I have attempted to buy stamps there have been over ten plus people in line and I've had to leave to make it back to work. Then there will only be two people helping during their busiest time. A Manager will come and yell about anyone having a pick up only. How about getting on a register to help someone! There is no stamp machine in the lobby which is ridiculous. Parking is also unsafe, busy street with a 2 foot high curb so your passengers can't get out of the car and hope your door doesn't get ripped off by someone speeding by. Then getting quickly back in your car in hopes you don't get side swiped! read more

How about next time you send out one your temp or Fill in delivery guys to South gate area of San Bernardino specifically Juvintino Martinez with San Diego on his badge you actually have a guy do his job. When someone pays for express mail with signature confirmation security and the driver never attempts to even deliver my house when I'm standing right there watching him is garbage service. But leaves the note that says he attempted to deliver on my mailbox. So then after he drives away for being too lazy to stop, I have to go catch up to him a block down the street. Asking did you try to deliver and so dumbfounded he says no but I have it here. But marks on the note he did which is a complete lie and then says that it was on its way back to the San Bernardino office. Which would of cost me driving across town just because this lazy employee would not stop. read more
