The crew showed up on time Wednesday morning. They finished at a reasonable time, which seemed quick to me for a full water line replacement from the meter to the house. The workers were all really nice and professional. Before he left, Derrick was very thorough. When the job was finished I was excited and ready to use the water again. I tested everything and it was working as expected. It would have been easy for Arrowhead to just pack up and leave at that point, but Derrick took the time to make sure I was well equipped to check pressure and plumbing in my home. The plumber demanded over $1,000 in non-covered costs, claiming all the extra work was required by Georgia building code. When I asked for specifics on the code requirements, he refused to provide any. To ensure I wasn't being overcharged, I brought in another plumber for a second opinion. The second plumber showed me that most of the items I was being charged for weren't necessary, and the legitimate out-of-pocket cost should have been around $350. I attempted to work through the warranty company to adjust the charges, but Arrowhead Plumbing then refused to do the work at all. Cinch Home Services also refused to validate Arrowhead's demands or let me work with a different service provider. This experience has been frustrating, to say the least. I strongly encourage others to avoid Arrowhead Plumbing and Cinch Home Services and look into the complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau if you're considering using them.
