READ THIS BEFORE THEY STEAL $50 TO TELL GIVE YOU AN OUTRAGEOUS QUOTE. A simple, 90 degree angle and 12 inches of pvc pipe. This was all that was needed to be replaced. The tech JOSH shows up, upon seeing what needs to be done, immediately, without looking at the pipe coming out of the wall, says he would need to go to my backyard, dig up this pipe (tear up the backyard in the process) and replace it to be on the safe side. I am an HVAC tech and understand the business of upselling, however this was ridiculous. He changed his mind when i told him my background, and asked him to actually measure how much pipe he had to work with in joining the 90 degree coupling. He then says "let me go out to my truck and see if I have the parts". I wait 1 minute, follow him, he has his phone, starts to make a phone call, sees me, stops and then just paces back and forth, finally writes a quote for coupling the existing pipe to a 90 degree angle and 12 inch length of pvc..... FOR $750 DOLLARS!!! We told him "no thank you". He was gone in 10 seconds. I spoke with the accounts receivable rep, she told me this is an average quote for the scope of work in the actual picture in this review. Now they demand $50 for a bogus quote. Beware of this company, please pay attention to the bad reviews, the good ones must be friends of the owners. TERRIBLE. The next company, did the job for $225 and we are referring our whole community as a result.

Denting goes all the way around+, water leaking from the top, technician left anyways - no hot water.

! WASTE OF TIME & MONEY. They whole day (8AM - 10PM) For A Basic Water Heater Replacement w/ a crawlspace pipe adjustment.. Planned many weeks out, tech quoted and knew before coming out for the service date and we even sent additional pictures prior to - JUST TO BE SURE FROM PAST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES & STILL BOTCHED IT ALL UP!! Dented up the BRAND NEW, OUT OF THE BOX, Water Heater as if it were a refurbished beer can! Even asked to help or to please ask AND EVEN DURING A COVID-19 CDC SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINE CRISIS Since Clearly Y'all Aint Got Your Stuff Together To Well. Only so it can get done correctly 'hopefully' bot no, y'all F'ed it up. Excuse my letters. As the FINALLY Connected the lines, at 9:45PM were BACKWARDS and ya F'ed Everything Up AGAIN.. DUDE.. Seriously... You busted your nice pipe seams and messed everything up, again. INSANITY. We have kids and a family to take care of and can't even properly feed them due to NO RUNNING WATER. Had some water stored for flushing and basic hand washing but had not planned for a whole day without -anything-. Wasted so many hand wipes and during a time of crises when those are worth more than gold; Absurd.. Tech was nice(ish) but am not having any part of this nonsense. Nothing personal but NO. Can understand certain scenarios occurring but we were way more than patient. Expect a further call for the damages you have incurred. & STILL NO HOT WATER & LEAKING PROM THE TOP. FINDING ANOTHER PLUMBING CO.. Thanks For The EXTreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeemly Super Professional & Knowledgeable Service * this last bit was sarcasm, fyi. _

The phone team to set up the estimate was also great! Perfect experience from start to finish, and until my husband and I can become handier, we know where we'll go.

I genuinely enjoyed and appreciated his support throughout the entire process. I originally contacted another company with higher online ratings, but they couldn't get anyone out the same day. I decided to give Plumb Doc a shot despite their slightly lower rating--and I'm really glad I did. The service I received was absolutely 5-star level. Brian came out quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue: a pin-sized hole in one of the PVC pipes underground in our front yard that feeds the house. We had noticed water running down the driveway and weren't sure if it was just runoff from recent rain or a broken pipe, especially since temperatures had been below freezing. Brian confirmed it was a leak by shutting off the water to the house and checking the meter--we were still using water. From there, Brian walked me through multiple options, ranging from a full pipe replacement to a targeted repair. I was dealing with family health issues at the time and needed the fastest, least disruptive solution so I could focus on being at the hospital. Brian really stepped up. He suggested bringing in a leak-detection specialist using sonar equipment to pinpoint the exact location. It added a few hundred dollars upfront but would save time, money, and yard damage in the long run. We went with that option, and it worked exactly as promised. That evening, a gas technician came out to mark the gas lines, the leak-detection team arrived the next morning, and Brian dug a very small area and replaced the damaged pipe on day two. He even worked past dark to finish the job. Plumb Doc handled everything--all scheduling, coordination, and follow-through. Brian personally made sure every vendor piece was handled correctly. A few days later, after the clay had settled, Brian came back to fill in the hole--even though we had already paid. He even offered to buy a bag of mulch to cover the area, which we declined since we planned to re-mulch anyway. The leak is fully fixed, no more water loss, and the price was completely reasonable. Throughout the process, Brian kept me informed via text, sent photos, and made sure I always knew what was happening. Beyond the technical skill, he's just a genuinely good guy--someone you'd grab a beer with. Too often, you talk to a company owner and then get sent a low-quality crew. That did not happen here. I couldn't be happier with the service and would absolutely recommend Plumb Doc to friends and family. A lot of people give 5 stars for just expected service, so I want to make it clear that this job exceeded my expectations and truly earned their 5 stars.

My water heater kept giving error code of blockage, and I had to reset it every other day. The tech Anthony recommended descaling. I was charged close to $900 for diagnosing the water heater and descaling it. It only took him 5 min to set up the descaling, the rest of the time was just waiting for the heater to flush itself. My water heater gave the same error code the same night. I called Plumbing Express again. Another tech came, he said he couldn't find anything wrong, he said maybe due to strong wind. He just hit the reset button, which I knew to do it myself. I called Plumbing Express again. This time they didn't come, and gave me $2,000 quote to repair the piping and all that. I debated for a long time between repairing and replacing the whole system (my system was only 5 years old). I decided to call another plumbing company for second opinion. They came and found the inlet water filter being extremely dirty and blocked. They cleaned it, and now my water heater is working like new again, and the new plumbing company charged me less than $100. Cleaning the filter was supposed to be part of the annual maintenance descaling that I paid Plumbing Express to do, which they obviously didn't do and I paid $900 for. They even mis-diagnosed and wanted me to fix the whole plumbing system for $2-3k. It is insane! Another issue was during the first appointment of fixing my water heater, I also asked Anthony to look at my shower faucet because it didn't control temperature very well. It was working fine besides the temperature part. He unassembled it to look inside. He said the cartridge needs to be replaced. He had to look for it and would call me back. Anthony put the shower faucet back. The same day when I used the shower, I turned the faucet and it fell off. It was very obvious that Anthony assembled it incorrectly. He came back and couldn't put it back because the parts inside broke already. He said he would call me back about replacement quote. Never called me back. I had to call office multiple times. After that, they said the faucet is too old, there is no replacement part, I would have to replace my entire master shower system. Not only Plumbing Express didn't fix my shower faucet, they completely broke it. They turned a simple problem into something they would cost me tens of thousands of dollars to fix. Now I'm still living with my faucet broken off and still trying to figure out a way to fix it without breaking my bank.

He didn't charge for a quick visit to see the shower, and then gave me in-depth information about what I needed and what I could do without changing. He was professional and knowledgeable and friendly. The 4 stars is only because once I tried to schedule to have the work done, I didn't get as quick a response and then he was a no-show for the actual appointment time. I had to contact him to find out what was happening and when he was coming as opposed to the other way around. In the end, though, he completed the work with no mess and no fuss, no "extra" expense added even though he checked the pressure in the house and made sure there wasn't more stuff causing the leaking. I do appreciate that he didn't try to upsell me the whole time. He seemed honest and worked efficiently. I'll be calling him in the future.

Incompetent Den of Thieves. They charged $750 to clear a drain that clogged the very next day and…read morerefused to return without an additional exorbitant charge. This is their "business model": try to charge over $1000 to snake a drain (we "negotiated" down to $750), then video the results and use it to pitch a $5000 dollar excavation job (that would destroy shrubs, not replace them, dig a trench, swap out a segment of pipe), even if all of that is not necessary to solve the problem. Take a look at the picture in this review, captured from their own video. They left the jobsite having cleared barely 1" inch (if that) of the 4" diameter pipe. That tiny black hole in the center is what they cleared, and all that junk above are roots that encroached into the pipe. Justin Connor, the technician, used a spade head to clear the tiny area but instead of changing the snake head to use a sawtooth root-cutter and clear more of the pipe following the video, he simply used the video to pitch the $5,000 job described above. When we talked to Justin's boss, somebody named Herman (last name not disclosed), they were completely dismissive, emphasizing they have no warranty; not one, single day. Avoid these guys like the plague. They are dishonest, incompetent thieves. The company appears to be owned by somebody named Tom Miller (ref: Georgia Sec. of State). ------------------------------------------- Update in response to owner Miller: "Once you have roots we stop"? Wouldn't it be ethical to inform customers of this practice before you take their money? "No ones [sic] sewer is worth a finger". What does that mean? These drains are not cleared by hand. Electrical snakes, their attachments and hydro-jetting are used. "There are a ton of things that we could use to remove the roots but in this case it wouldn't be cost effective." For whom? For YOU because it wouldn't enable you to take even MORE money from customers? "faking outage [sic]"? Nothing fake about it, Mr. Miller. How would you feel if a (presumed) professional took $750 out of your pocket and his "solution" failed the next day? "Hope someone else is able to service you." Someone else WAS able to do the job - clearing the tube completely -- with no excavation or pipe replacement. I think you make my argument for me. Thank you.
