Ate there today.. Tuesday July 22nd 2025, around 12 noon..spent 26.00 dollars for a 10 piece teriyaki wing, fried rice and drink...wings were disgusting and small...teriyaki sauce was Watery...shrimp fried rice tasted fishy....don't waste your money,at this location..as I was waiting for my order,..one customer walked out after the cashier told him his order costed 20 dollars for 10 plain wings and fries...he told the cashier that price was to much...as I was getting my order, the hispanic female co worker asked me was I very hungry..?..,,the food was horrible the wings were overcooked, absolutely no flavor...the teriyaki sauce was watery, and unflavored...the rice was a small portion, and the shrimp was fishy ass hell, and probably consisted of 4 small shrimp ..save your cash...there are much better options in the west end area..

I love this American deli in the west end mall. They are literally probably the only business holding this mall together . Lol I like to get the French fries with lemon pepper wet sauce to get my wing fix

Wings

Everything was flavorful and did not disappoint. I also enjoyed an espresso martini, and my mom was treated to a birthday dessert featuring white chocolate blueberry cheesecake. I loved the ambiance, the spacious bar area, and the outdoor patio. This was a new-to-me spot that I'm glad we tried for a special occasion! It was so good and we had such a great experience that we went back again a few months later to celebrate my aunt's birthday. This time, we had a big party and were able to make a reservation. The restaurant does a great job of accommodating big parties, and I believe they also have a private room. Our waitress was Maddy, and she was exceptional. She did a great job with our party and was very patient with us. The second time, I ordered something different and got the pasta. We all got a variety of different dishes, appetizers, and drinks, and everything was immaculate. I would definitely recommend Park 82 to others. The food, ambiance, and overall experience are exceptional. I love that because it's very hard to find quality restaurants these days. Definitely a spot I'd return to again!

There were no Brussels unless they were minced up in there, but there were mushrooms which wasn't listed on the menu. However, it was a tasty dish. It was the best thing that I ate that nigh (A). For entree, I ordered the Risotto minus the peas. It came out like a cream soup with very little risotto, the asparagus was the stringy ends, and it was extremely bland. The server agreed that it was soupier than normal (F). Lastly, I ordered a Southwest Salad to go. I ate the salad the next day at home and it was fine (B). Service was friendly. The establishment is cute. I would not return but others said that they would.

On a beautiful early summer day with warm sunshine and gentle breezes, it was a pleasure to sit at…read moreone of the outside patio tables, overlooking the colorful flower garden and the lazy river -with food and service that lived up to this restaurant's positive reputation and its 5 star reviews. Food: 5/5 We decided to try a leisurely lunch. The menu is not large, but it has enough variety to be interesting. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoked salmon appetizer portion was large, but the best part was the great flavor. I can see why this choice has been on the menu for years. The Vidalia onion soup will be a surprise for the non-Georgians who expect it to be similar to a savory beef broth like French onion soup. Georgia's onions from the Vidalia area are sweet and tasty enough to carry the soup without the help of a meat broth and the green pesto sauce offers a nice additional touch. The salmon on fresh salad was done perfectly. The panka-crusted cod with mashed potatoes and spinach was outstanding. Both were seasoned so lightly that the true flavors shone through. The portions were generous enough that dessert at the time would have been too much, but others can do as we did and take home one of the dessert choices. Next time we plan to try their sandwiches which looked yummy at other tables. Service : 5/5 Service was excellent from the pleasant greeting, through the entire meal. Our server, Clayton, couldn't have been more helpful with the menu, as well as being very efficient and amiable. He made sure our food was served promptly and our beverages glasses were full, and our requests were met quickly. Facility: The facility lends itself to the riverside experience from the canoe in the entryway ceiling to the flowers and bird feeders just beyond the patio tables. The white tablecloth ambiance informs you that this isn't a fast-food experience. There are tents set aside in a more private are of the garden as a lovely venue for special events Location : This isn't a quick roadside stop next to a 6-lane highway. Even though the restaurant is convenient to dine in an Atlanta suburb, the roads to the restaurant wind and meander for a short distance through one of the prettiest neighborhoods, with a canopy of large old trees, with lovely fences, hedges, and gates lining the road. There is courteous valet parking at the front door. The restaurant is not inexpensive but it is well worth the prices paid, in our opinion.

And she took our whole order then brought out things in the order that they felt it would be best enjoyed which was nice. And recommended a wine to my friend to pair with the food. The meal started with the beet and goat cheese salad and that was one of the best things I've eaten in a long time. Then the kangaroo which was tasty but maybe a little overseasoned with black pepper - it left a lasting black pepper back of the mouth spice after we finished that both of us didn't love. And the veggies served with it were really really tasty but both of us wished there was more of it. The duck was tasty as well but it felt small for the price tag of $50 (2 slices of breast with lots of the shredded duck leg). It gave a deconstructed Peking duck vibe with the crepe and sauce. Once again we loved the veggie sides but really wished there was at least double of the carrots and bok choy to lighten the dish. And the duck n beef burger (the whole reason we came after seeing it on a food network show) was good but kind of underwhelming. The burger itself is fantastic but the bun is too big and feels like it's that big to be a filler not to compliment. And the fries that came with the burger were so salty we barely ate them. Overall we enjoyed our meal but with all of the fantastic restaurants in Atlanta neither of us are sure we'd make it back to canoe. If we do we'd definitely order ever salad on the appetizer menu first and foremost.

My friend and I wanted to try something different, and when she suggested Boxcar, I literally asked, "Where is that?" She pointed out that it was in the same area we'd been standing in countless times. For anyone visiting for the first time, it is a little tucked away past the food hall. You'll also need to walk up a set of stairs to reach the restaurant, which is worth knowing ahead of time if stairs are inconvenient or inaccessible for you. Once inside, I really liked the atmosphere. They also offer outdoor seating, but with the Georgia heat that day, there was absolutely no discussion--we were sitting INSIDE. Our server was Najah (please forgive me if I'm misspelling!), and she was AWESOME. Such a warm spirit, great energy, and exactly the type of person you'd want greeting you whether it's your first visit or your tenth. Since this was my first time, I asked for recommendations. We started with the Boom Boom Shrimp from the happy hour menu, which is available Monday through Friday until 7 PM. The shrimp? 10/10. No notes! For our entrées, my friend ordered the fish and chips, which she loved--and it came with hush puppies, so really, how could you go wrong? I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Jam Smashburger, and it was cooked perfectly. I don't even remember being asked how I wanted it cooked, but somehow they knew exactly what needed to happen. And that bacon jam?! I LOVE a sweet-and-salty combination, so it was right up my alley. The fries were fire too, but apparently I was feeling a little greedy because I noticed mac & cheese on the menu and decided I needed that as well. LISTEN. I would've been perfectly happy if somebody had taken away everything else and left me alone with that mac & cheese. It was THAT good. Easily 20/10. I actually had to ask Najah who made it because I needed to understand what exactly was happening back there! She told me about the chef, who is Caribbean and from New York, and as someone with Caribbean roots who is also from New York, I may be a little biased--but suddenly I understood why that mac & cheese spoke to my spirit the way it did. I've literally been telling people about it ever since. There's still so much on the menu that caught my attention, including the lamb burger, Brussels sprouts, short rib, and several other dishes. I've included a picture of the menu because there's definitely more exploring to do here. As far as seating, Boxcar seems pretty versatile. There were just two of us, but there's plenty of indoor seating along with bar seating, and I could easily see a group of around 10-12 being comfortable. I also noticed what appeared to be a separate space toward the back that may be available for larger gatherings. Between Najah's wonderful service, the atmosphere, everything we ordered, and THAT MAC & CHEESE, Boxcar absolutely earned a return visit. I've already been bragging about the mac & cheese to everybody who will listen, so now I'm looking forward to finding out what I'll be bragging about after my next visit.

I had the short rib and eggs. That short rib was very tender and the bbq sauce wasn't overpowering on top. The eggs were cooked perfectly to my liking, but somehow the biggest star on that plate were the potatoes. The breakfast potatoes were CRISP on the outside and deliciously soft inside. Salted perfectly. I took some of them as leftovers and somehow they were still crisp with a reheat. Highly recommend sitting at the bar, the full service there is great too. If you're unfamiliar, the restaurant serves a standard, pre-fixe menu of bread , a salad, frites, and steak. This is where things fell flat for me. The bread is a hard loaf in a paper bag. Maybe an ode to traditional serving, but no one offered to cut the bread nor were we provided a bread knife... my dining mate didn't want to work that hard to get any bread... inconvenient and wasted. The salad... I wasn't at all a fan of the dressing. It was very vinegary and pungent... not at all balanced. The frites were cooked to pure perfection; however, they lacked seasoning. The steak... this is where I was totally disappointed. While the steak was cooked to the right temperature (medium rare), it was sooooooo chewy, no marble... I found myself spitting out tough parts. Maybe Whole Foods' grass fed ribeyes have me spoiled, but this wasn't at all what I would expect of a restaurant that specializes in steak. After this experience I'd be pissed giving them extra money for valet. Pros: the location was okay. The ambiance was cool. It was an open restaurant meaning you see everyone, the cooks, and bar. We were greeted and she was very polite. Our server was cool. My mocktail was a 10. Tall dude made me something sweet and he was very polite. You pay through barcode therefore you can split the bill and pay your portion. Cons: the wait was long. We were told 10-15 mins. It was more 30+. There were several open tables in which we sat at one of them, eventually. Our reservation was not there. FYI. They were out of a few different liquors when my party ordered a few different drinks. They were out of sodas. Only offering coke, Diet Coke and ginger ale. The wait was extremely long for the food. We actually saw our food under the 'light' at least 10+ mins before it was brought to our table...and please note it was only about 5 dishes they brought out of 7. Instead of going back to get our burgers, he stopped to take orders at another table and then go to a computer I assume to place them, while the food remained under the light. We can see this. It's not an assumption . When my and a friend's food came and it was cold. The waiter was engaged in convo with another employee, we assume over a meal discrepancy, while we tried to tell him about our concerns but he walked away. I can only hope he was too discombobulated and didn't hear us. I'll stay positive on that part. We waited for him to come and he didn't. I walked to the hostess and requested to speak with "someone regarding food concerns" and the manager came out maybe 7-9 minutes later. I merely stated if they could put the burger in the microwave that would suffice but we would like fresh fries. He acknowledged with minimal words and walked off. Never saw him again. At all. More time passed. Everyone has basically finished their food. We are looking crazy bc we don't know what o going on. I go speak to the waiter to reiterate my convo with the manager and he stated "ohh they cooked a brand new meal" I said ohhh okay I didn't know bc he didn't say anything or come back. He turned to the kitchen as he was saying this and y'all...yet again...Burger and fries were sitting under the light. Lol. SMH. He walked them over and needless to say, the food was the same. Fries cold. I can tell he was pulled in many directions and I won't fault him too much on that but organization and multitasking is needed. Idk if they were short staffed but this sucked. The food was a 3 out of 10. I'm only giving a 3 bc I was advised the fish was good but the rice was undercooked. Back to the burger...That was NOT a smash burger. At all. It's giving frozen patty. The buns were even cold. Doubt they were toasted. The fries were overly salty. And being shoestring they should be last up bc they will cool off fast. Which they were cold both times. It stated 'onion jam' on the burger. It was a gang of sliced onions. I'd say 'sautéed' but there was still no color and definitely no caramelization. The food was too expensive for what we received. I did not have a good experience. As I always state, could be a one-off, maybe different cooks, different days. Idk know but I wouldn't be back.
