I mean...when it Atlanta right? Had to visit the legendary Magic City to see if these famous wings were as good as advertised. First thing I noted about Magic City...it's not that big. In fact, the building itself is actually pretty damn small for a strip club. Only pointing this out because Magic City Kitchen is just a to-go counter inside Magic City itself. Since I came in the afternoon when Magic City just opened, I walked in for free with no cover. Anyways, ordered some Justice Magic wings and fries. They're not the biggest wings, but they pack quite the flavor punch. I can see why they are revered by so many people! And despite only technically ordering 10 wings, I definitely got like around 15. Also, despite being way out of place here (i.e., the only Asian in the building), everyone treated me really nice. Never felt I was not welcome at all while I was eating my food at the bar. On top of those extra wings, the cook gave me a free baked wing to try as well. I guess Southern hospitality even extends to the strip club! I'm not sure I would go out of my way again to eat these wings in-house, but it was definitely a cool experience to check it out. At the very minimum, it's worth a takeout order. read more

The wings were good however they were so tiny. The fries were good as well. Overall we did go at 6:00 on Friday so we knew it wouldn't be busy but the vibes were just not quite there. Your girl only had one goal when I came to atlanta and it was to go to Magic city lol. I am definitely a goal oriented type of person so we made it out here on a Friday night, parking was a little confusing, parking in front of the venue is $40, parking around the corner is $20. We chose to park around the corner, it seems far when your parking but in reality it is just the 2nd level of the parking lot and you take the stairs down. Magic city is not busy at all on Fridays, I heard Mondays are the day to go. You can order wings without going inside the club, but we went inside to hang out for a bit. It was $20 cash before 9 pm for cover fee. Magic City is really small, it is one of the smallest strip clubs I have been to, unless there are hidden rooms somewhere there really aren't any private areas in the club. There is one large main stage, and a few tables scattered throughout. Theres a small "private room" but the windows are all clear so its not really private. They played mostly hip hop music. We ordered a hookah and two types of wings, tbh I prob had too much henny at this point and dont really remember how the wings tasted but I had lots of fun. It's also fun that you can buy bottles of their signature sauces for your home kitchen. We ordered the steak and fried shrimp combo with a baked potato and lemon pepper wings with fries. Both orders were cooked just the way we ordered them. Add this one to your rotation. Especially for parties. They have the kind of menu that as your ordering one thing you can't wait for your next visit to order other items. Up Next for me will probably be the macaroni and cheese or the fish sandwich. After all the hype, we had to try the wings from here and yes, you can order without paying to enter the club. You still have to enter for 2 seconds, go straight to the kitchen, and the come right out. Only 1 person can go in to get the order. The location is a bit sketchy, but we found street parking right on the side. They also have their own parking lot. You have to place the order online and so I did that and waited for until they were ready to approach. I had the Louwill lemon pepper flavor, which was good. My partner and I were recommended the infamous Magic City wings by many people and online sources. We got the Lou Williams wings. I am not exaggerating when I say these wings were so small, it was like eating 20 baby chicks. What the helly?!?!? What the Kirk?!?! The flavor was fine, but all you were eating was the sauce, negative meat on these wings. They weren't even hot or fresh. Only the most beta pussy little chumps eat wings like this, and makes sense based on the crowd in there. I would never in a million years recommend this place to anyone, or order them again. I've been DYING to try these wings on my last two trips to ATL and I finally had the chance to check it out. If you come to Magic City for the wings and not boobies (like me), listen up. 1. Order your wings in advance on their website (order.magiccitykitchen.com). 2. Once you place you order, it will give you an estimated time to pick up your order. 3. Park on the street as the lot is valet only for club guests. 4. Get checked by security. Have your ID ready and you'll get a pat down and bags checked. Let them know you're there to pick up food and have your order/receipt ready to show them. They'll let the other security at the door know you're there for food. 5. Once you're inside, show your ID and let them know you're there to pick up food. then go through the door on the right. 6. Hang a left once you're in the main room and you should see the small window where the kitchen is. Wait in line and once you're at the window, show them your order on your phone. **If your food is not ready within 20 minutes of you stepping inside, ask them an approximate time the food will be ready and leave the club. If you stay inside more than 20 minutes, security will charge you the $60 cover. If you do leave and come back, remember to grab your ID at the front. Once you come back, you have to go through security and do the whole thing all over again.** We ordered the Justice Magic, Honey Garlic and Lemon Pepper. Orders are $15 a flavor and come with 10 pieces. You have the option to do all flats for $17 or all drums for $17. Each order of wings comes with a side of fries or onion rings. Everyone was very nice and considering I am a middle age woman who is a Lou Williams fan (love basketball, I mean who doesn't?), I had to try the LouWill lemon pepper bbq wings! This is for a GoldBelly delivery which is a national food delivery system. For an event like WrestleMania, a meal fitting the biggest wrestling event of the year is needed. The much hyped Magic City Wing's were the choice for us for said event. We got 25 garlic parmesan wings and 25 of the infamous LouWil Lemon Pepper BBQ wings. Wings came with directions on how to reheat and some extra seasonings for them. Clearly this will not taste as good as the wings would if getting them fresh so I don't judge them on that. This is purely on flavor, taste, and wing quality. The LouWil Lemon Pepper BBQ wings were outstanding. Adding the lemon pepper to the BBQ is a simple, yet masterful wing combination. Truly the star of the duo. Garlic Parmesan's didn't have a ton of seasoning to them and were rather unspectacular. We wished we just got 50 of the LouWil's by the end of it. The size of the wings were also quite small, not sure if its bc they were being delivered or what the rationale on it was. I came to Magic City on a Monday.... And it lived up to the hype. The food was AMAZING ...the vibes were cool. So I came back the following night to place an order. When I called the order in-- I asked if I had to pay at the door to receive the food. The lady on the phone told me there was no charge to pick up the food. When I arrived, I was told that I needed to pay $10 each to enter. I told the guy at the door (Kenneth) that I had already inquired about a cover charge for food. He didn't know anything about that and took the $20 for my friend and myself to enter. Once I got inside, I checked the food and noticed my lemon-pepper mild wings didn't have any lemon pepper seasoning on them. At this point - I expressed to the servers that I was upset that I had to pay at the door- after I specifically asked if I had to pay a cover to get the food. ------- Multiple things took place at this point. 1. A guy in the kitchen told me the female who answered the phone was training. 2. My mild-lemon pepper wings didn't have lemon pepper seasoning on them. I asked about the seasoning and the guy in the kitchen said they put it on the side because they didn't want over season the wings. He then gives me a container of lemon pepper seasoning. I tell him I was in the establishment the night before and the wings were prepared with the seasonings. He then opens the container and sprinkles the seasoning on the wings. I express my frustration because - 1st I had to pay after they said I was good and now they are sprinkling the seasoning on--- with an attitude. I decide to leave -- and at this point -- I'm upset along with the kitchen staff. We get outside and Kenneth the guy working security tried to rectify the situation. He refunds me the $20 and asks the kitchen staff to remake the food. He said he understood the importance of customer service. The kitchen staff, said they were done and they didn't want to fix the problem or remake the food. My overall issue is I received a certain quality of food the previous day and returned for the same service and was denied it. I work with athletes and entertainers who are loyal patrons. So it's disappointing to be treated the way that I was, however I appreciate Kenneth for trying to make the situation right. I am so pleased with my catfish nuggets and fries. After the entire Lou will situation I saw on Twitter that they have catfish nuggets and I was extremely intrigued to try them. Unfortunately the day that I want to try them they were sold out but the next day one of their staff from Twitter took the initiative and ordered the nuggets for me on my behalf. I was able to pick it up and was in an out. The parking was easy I told attendant that I was picking up food, he guided me to a free parking spot.. The security guard checked my temperature before I went into the facility, the dancers had on their masks and the kitchen staff was so pleasant.
