This is easily the best place for food late at night in downtown. The staff are super nice, in-and-out service, and just good food.

I put JR Crickets down for a year because of over crispy burnt wings. I gave them another try today thinking that they may have improved on their product. I think this order of wings puts the icing on the cake as the poorest quality over crispy burnt wings I've ever had from them. I do not recommend this establishment unless you have super strong teeth that won't crack on the bite. I paid $50 plus on something I could have burnt at home. Just Horrible read more

WOW these wings are awesome, I hadn't tried too many wing spots in ATL, but this one will be one to remember and always come back to. We got the lemon pepper and dirty bird flavored wings, and chefs KISS they were so good. The fries and celery were also a great compliment for the wings. I came here with my coworkers and the wings and shrimp combo was absolutely amazing! Best wings I've had in a long time I got the lemon pepper and the hot wings, they were crispy and had the perfect amount of seasoning. It's more bar stools setting so most people take the food and leave, the location doesn't really have good parking so it's nice to order a head grab your food and leave. It was REALLY amazing. We talked to the staff, but they said there's nothing they could do about it because the owner controls the temperature from their phone, remotely??!? Tonight, I visited the Fayetteville, GA location and never have I been treated so poorly. I first noticed how the guy behind the register was treating the customer in front of me. They got the customer's order wrong and was going back and front rudely with him. Then it was my turn to pay and they could not give me back my change because I had a $100 bill. What bar in America is unable to give a customer correct change? Then a guy walks over and tells me to pay at another register because it had money in it. Well, he gives me back $68. However, my receipt shows they owe me $68.90. I told him 4 times (and I counted) that it was not correct. He kept yelling, " I gave you 68, I gave you 68, right". I said yes but you owe me .90 and I work hard for my money. THIS MAN LITERALLY REACHED IN HIS POCKET AND THREW A DOLLAR AT ME. I've been called the n-word, I've been discriminated against, harassed by police officers, but never have I felt this way. My self-respect, my integrity as a man and as a human being was challenged over .90. What man goes in his pocket and throws a dollar at another man over .90. If he needed change, I would politely gone to my car to get it. I've been a customer of J.R. Cricket for over 20 years. Way before the downtown location was burned or destroyed. I will never ever go here again. I told them I was going to report it and write on every platform I have, but they didn't care. Please people don't put yourself in this situation.
