    Sweet Potato Fries
    Walter H.

Ordered food through Uber Eats on a Friday evening from JR Crickets Downtown. The Uber delivery guy was great. The wings were tasty, but next time I would get different sauce. The fried fish and the fried shrimp were both a little over cooked, but were okay. The Sweet potato fries were really good! Based on just the food, it was just okay.

Wings never fail to hit. The service is great and the food is always hot with tasty wings. If I walk in or deliver I get the same good food. The ambiance is an in and out but quick service not a long wait at all.

Finally tried this place and ended up going a second time in 1 week! WOW these wings are awesome, I hadn't tried too many wing spots in ATL, but this one will be one to remember and always come back to. We got the lemon pepper and dirty bird flavored wings, and chefs KISS they were so good. The fries and celery were also a great compliment for the wings. I'm still thinking about these and currently craving some as I type this!!

The service here was amazing. The young lady at the counter explained and answered every question I had and then some. She was extremely friendly and made the experience awesome. They had so many wing flavors so I got multiple. The sweet potato fries were delicious, sweet tea was perfect, the wings were crispy and sauced perfectly. Definitely a return adventure

I came here with my coworkers and the wings and shrimp combo was absolutely amazing! Best wings I've had in a long time I got the lemon pepper and the hot wings, they were crispy and had the perfect amount of seasoning. It's more bar stools setting so most people take the food and leave, the location doesn't really have good parking so it's nice to order a head grab your food and leave. It was REALLY amazing. I'm still thinking about those wings.

This is easily the best place for food late at night in downtown. The staff are super nice, in-and-out service, and just good food.

Making reservations is really simple via OpenTable. They have Valley parking which cost around eight dollars, but there is also a parking garage where you can pay by the hour. They have a pretty large dining room with an area for more private dining as well and they also have seating at the oyster bar. This is my fourth visit and each visit the food has been really good. For our appetizers we got my favorite the shrimp à la Plancha, but I did notice that the bread that comes with the dish has gotten significantly smaller. For dinner we had the fingerling potatoes, which I was not a fan of. They were pretty hard. I got the red fish for my entrée and we got the collard greens for our vegetable and the greens tasted amazing. My friend ordered the She Crab Soup and Fried Oysters and said they were both delicious. I missed out on the Peach cake (out of season) but they had Apple and I liked it.

It was modern, lively, and social without feeling like you had to scream across the table to have a conversation. It worked just as well for lunch or after-work drinks as it did for sitting down and sharing a few tapas. Service was always friendly and attentive, and the tapas-style menu made it easy to order a few things and share instead of committing to one large meal. The 11th Street location was also right in the middle of Midtown, so it was an easy place to meet up for lunch, happy hour, or dinner. And those hush puppies were absolutely delicious. I'd literally come back for those. I came here on a whim and there was no wait. Parking was easy to find since there's a private parking lot specifically for the restaurant in the back. To start, I got the Bayou Fog Cutter as my drink. The waitress really hyped it up and I was excited to try but it ended up not being my cup of tea so I opted for the Roula Mule Ah which she said was a version of a Moscow Mule and those I like. She said she had to keep the drink at the original price although it was cheaper which was fine cause I want something I can enjoy. It probably had more to do with her tip which FYI, is already included in your bill. An automatic 20 percent. There was so much on the menu I wanted to try and she suggested a few items like the shrimp po boy, broccoli, chicken bites and étouffée. After reading a few reviews, I got the blackened catfish bang mi. It was good. Just a regular fish sandwich. The star of the show was the hush puppies. People raved about them in their reviews and they did not disappoint. They give a good serving of em too; like 10-12. And they're bite sized. If they were staying open, I'd definitely come back.

The restaurant was much smaller and less impressive than expected, with tables packed very close together. We waited several minutes to be greeted, our reservation didn't seem to matter, and service felt disorganized from the start. We weren't given menus or silverware until we asked, and attention to detail was noticeably lacking throughout the visit. The food was absolutely the highlight. Everything we ordered was delicious and lived up to the hype. However, for a bill that approached $300 for just two people, I expected a better atmosphere and overall experience. I'm big on ambiance, especially when booking a place for a birthday or date. Part of what hurt the experience was being seated beside a group dressed very casually in sweats and hoodies, with one guest working on a laptop and taking over an extra table. That's not a criticism of them, but it didn't align with the elevated dining experience the restaurant's pricing and online reputation seem to suggest. A dress code or a more curated dining environment would go a long way toward creating the upscale atmosphere they're aiming for. Great food, but great restaurants create an experience, not just a meal. For me, Crescent delivered on the food but fell short on the service, ambiance, and attention to detail needed to justify the price. Not somewhere I'll be returning for a special occasion.
