    We flew Phoenix to Miami and then on to Barbados on 1/14/26 We had an excellent experience at the PHX desk check-in since we are traveling internationally - she was so kind and friendly getting our bags checked and boarding passes. It was a great start to the day. Boarding was smooth- A321 Neo and the seats up front were comfy and new. Nice bonus. With American tho- you need to bring your own device but you have free access to their app and entertainment so make sure you bring your iPad or something. I focused on podcasts today so download them before they close the doors. Definitely preorder your meal in the app- we did- only one person out of all of first class didn't preorder and he had one choice- take it or leave it, so preorder is the message here. I had a great cold salmon salad on quinoa with roasted red peppers and pickled red onions. Excellent. The side salad was fresh jicama, corn, edamame with a sweet Thai Chili dressing. Nice heat to it! Husband had a honey glazed chicken and enjoyed it, especially the sourdough roll l. We were then served a choice of a fruit and cheese plate or sorbet. Once the trays were cleared, the flight attendant went back to his seat and took a NAP!! lol. Haven't seen that before! Even when someone pressed the call button, he didn't respond. A steward from the back finally arrived and took care taking away some dirty dishes providing drink refills. Yikes. AA 2107 1/14/26 Second flight to Barbados was also a newer 737 max. Seats are really nice and comfortable. As we were late due to staffing issues, on preflight drink, but dinner came within the hour- roasted chicken pesto with potatoes. The picture looks awful but it was TASTY. Very good. Service on this flight was very attentive as well Bonus was the free WiFi if you have an advantage account yay!! Finally!

    This airline has gotta be the worst in aspect. They do not care about their customers, or customers luggage. Believe me when I say do not travel with this airline. Their customer service dep is a joke. My bags were delayed 2 days, my flight was canceled, I had missing and damaged items, they did nothing to rectify the horrible experience I encountered with theie airlone. They deserve a big fat 0 when it comes to . Save urseld the hassle book elsewhere.

    I was called shortly before leaving for the airport and told only 1 of us could fly due to overbooking. We were FC. I was offered $500. I said "No. Call someone else." It's all recorded. We (85 YO mom) to the airport and there were at least 26 empty seats in the plane. No weight and balance restrictions. We had $900 in expenses to make that flight. 2 dogs in kennel. Prepaid driver. Hotel. AA agent offered $500. Never did she say $500 travel voucher or airmiles. I was given a $12 airport meal voucher after feeling like I was a beggar and the bkfast burrito and coffee was $25. They owe me $13! I did tip $5 because the lady was nice... but another expense because AA tried to cancel my trip with my 85YO mom to walk the trails we spread her sons (my brothers) ashes one year ago. These corporations do not take into consideration the emotions of their customers. They dont care even when one tries to explain. They simply do not care. In the end mum enjoyed her beef Wellington and scotch. I was in the back of the plane. The return Eugene Oregon to PHX was another story which is equally disturbing and boring. I will spare you;)

    American Airlines is an airline I often chose, especially since they've partnered with British Airways which is my preferred airline in general. Love the ability to buy a cheese plate, though sadly they often do not have on the flights I've been on recently. Just something about cheese at a higher altitude. Overall, a solid airline and great service out of Sky Harbor airport.

    I don't remember when I flew any other airline other than Southwest or Hawaiian, so I'll say this may have been my first flight on American Airlines. I was all set for my quick weekend trip to San Diego when a friend suggested I fly in earlier to avoid any mishaps should my original flight experience any delays. The more I thought about it, the more I started to agree. Arrangements were made so that I would arrive on time for my very first UYE in San Diego. I had high hopes but they were not met when I arrived at the airport only to find a hot mess of lines with American Airlines. I was so damn confused I didn't know which line I was supposed to be in. When I saw the kiosks at the far end, I made my way over there to print my boarding pass but just as I got to them, employees closed it off and made everyone line up around and behind the escalators. Ummmm... okay. So we stand in this monstrosity of a line and I low-key started to panic as everyone around me clearly had bags to check in. I didn't. Once I got closer to one of the employees, I asked if I was in the right line since I only needed my boarding pass. She said yes. I finally get to a kiosk armed with my confirmation code that I had memorized, only to be told by the screen that my "check-in window" had closed. SMDH. I then asked another employee which line to go to since the screen told me to "see an agent." The counters were busy af. One line was for "special services" and the other was for all the 1st class, business class, etc. which does not apply to a regular joe like me. She told me to go to the special services line so off I went. I thought it was meant for people who needed assistance like wheelchair service, etc. Anyway, by the time I got to the actual counter, I had spent at least 20 minutes in line. The lady who helped me was nice and booked me on the next flight out. Instead of landing in SAN at 9 am, I landed at 11:26 am, which also caused me to forfeit my original car rental. *sigh* I was given an aisle seat in the very last row so it took forever to get on and off. No snackies or drinks were served (although I'm not sure if they regularly do when there is no turbulence---it was a pretty bumpy ride right before we landed)! As I sat around waiting for my next flight out, I had to re-book another vehicle to ensure I would have one when I arrived. I am a creature of habit, and while I am very grateful for my friend's suggestion, I know I would have made that flight had it been Southwest. Yes, I know I could have checked in online, blah blah blah, but I didn't. I don't have the app either. Also, I prefer the paper boarding pass vs. the electronic version. Had the lines been more organized, I may have made my original flight. Better luck next time (if there IS a next time), I guess?!

    AA in Phoenix seems more on top its game than other airports. Not sure if the America West acquisition long time ago played a part. Nice that there are 4 - 5 direct flights round trip Austin/Phoenix. Will be really helpful as I do more work on Phoenix.

    Too many reviews to review pluses and minuses but we had an average experience. PHX airport was pretty crowded and slow through security. As for AA they do have online entertainment available but it is limited. I put a picture of the plug they have on the plane because I did not have one that fit.

    I used to be very loyal to America West Airlines out of Phoenix with a hub at one time in Columbus, Ohio. Then, it was US Airways flying across country, again from Phoenix, and I was getting upgraded regularly. Now, it's American Airlines that I frequent along with past America West Airlines and US Airways patrons. I find that similar to any other airline, customer service is often better than not, but there are always those few hiccups. With American Airlines, you can get someone on the phone, on a chat, on social media, or in person to assist, and with some respect on our part, we can often get what we need. I rarely have luggage issues though there was one time where my bag was broken, and American Airlines gave me a replacement bag while they had my original bag repaired. I find myself regularly flying in and out of the American Airlines gates at Phoenix Sky Harbor and frequenting hubs like Dallas-Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, Philadelphia, and Charlotte. Often, my travels require a layover, and my flights are more often than not on time and without delays on departing or arriving. With status, an American Airlines credit card, and membership in CLEAR and Global Entry, I do not pay for luggage, I receive priority luggage handling, I board early, I speed through security, I sometimes receive upgrades, and I access lounges. Traveling has become more of a hobby and habit at the same time, and using American Airlines as my regular go-to airlines, I accumulate miles quickly while also receiving status and Loyalty Point rewards. I have two travel premium credit cards: the AAdvantage Executive Mastercard offering complimentary Admirals Club access and the American Express Platinum card offering other lounge access along with travel credits along with complimentary CLEAR and Global Entry membership. Through T-Mobile, I receive free WiFi on American Airline flights. Through my American Airlines AAdvantage status, I get upgrades or free paid snacks and drinks on flights along with other benefits. To retain status each year, you need to earn Loyalty Point through flying, credit card spending, and promotions. You also can earn Loyalty point rewards after hitting 175,000 points, 250,000 points, and so on. While it is difficult to receive upgrades due to so many people at the Executive Platinum status tier, the benefits I do receive is worthwhile. I also have experienced technical issues on flights but not enough to cause me to abandon American Airlines, especially when every other airline has these same challenges. All in all, American Airlines is a great company and does as well if not better than any of the other major airlines.

    My son, who had a layover in Phoenix, Arizona, on his way to Nevada was not allowed to board the plane because the employee at the gate noticed his speech was slurred. My son was born with a cleft palette and has undergone multiple Surgeries to repair.. as a result, his speech is always a little slurred and mumbly.... He explained the situation to the American Airlines employee and requested if there was some sort of test that he could take to prove he was not intoxicated, which is what the employee was claiming was the case ......The employee refused and refused to allow him to board. It is horrific that anyone would be discriminated against because of a disability or a speech delay. Shame on you, American Airlines.!!!!! You will be hearing from our attorneys

    I won't labor the point; however, my return flight aboard American Airlines from Salt Lake City to Orange County was quite the adventure. First, the flight was delayed 30 minutes from SLC to Phoenix and the continuation flight on to Santa Ana was delayed more than two hours due to the interior of the plane being too hot. Second, American Airlines personnel made no announcement regarding the delay for over an hour. Myself and other passengers approached the gate personnel to inquire why was there such a significant delay boarding the aircraft only to be told numerous takeoff times. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Cebu Pacific again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. Rather take any other airline that go through that hell again

The online check-in didn't work for me this morning and right in front of the Frontier Airlines employees. I showed the two employees on the right of my attachment photo my screenshots and live non-working Frontier Airlines website and still nothing. They even said, show it to me live and I did. Still nothing. They just wanted that $25 fee to fix it and check me in. Both employees knew my flight was leaving in about one hour. No one cared. Any other similar and different businesses would waive the fee and correct it. These two employees just wanted my additional $25. I later paid the $25 for help and got my boarding pass with D/Dee. D/Dee was friendly, professional, cared and sympathetic. She should be the supervisor. The TSA Agent at pre-check heard three other complaints about Frontier Airlines employees just prior to mine. Another issue was that I was supposed to get free luggage and was later charged at SNA JW Frontier Airlines. I was charged $150 extra for what was supposed to be free. I cannot believe they charge for coffee on the flight I believe Frontier Airlines is the biggest scam and the worst.

However, the return flight was fraught was frustration and disappointment, including a total of 5 delays for a total of 7h and 29m sequestered to gate 7 in Rapid City's airport. I was pretty frustrated and angry, but once I learned what the company did in attempts to prevent everyone involved from being stranded, I completely understood and am now sympathetic to the cause. I recently learned that if you…read morehave the opportunity to purchase tickets at the counter, you can save roughly $40 per round trip which is essentially the convenience/admin fee online, but there are specific parameters on how to do so... It has to be during their allotted or scheduled hours for the airport Which is extremely limited and as of this review is from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Every other day they are considered "closed". I did inquire with the agent if it really was only on Sundays, which she said they can sometimes do it during other hours right before or after a flight, but not guaranteed and depends whose working that day. Secondly, though they have various lines and have signs saying "All Services", you have to go to the very end, along the wall for tickets and oddly enough there is no sign. Because the hours are so limited, travelers will book multiple sets of tickets at once and their system or process is not built around efficiency, We had about 10 or so people ahead of us and were in line for almost an hour. Again, some of these travelers were booking numerous tickets, so it would take longer, but they really don't set anyone up for success and you have to provide all the standard info you need for a flight, but verbally then need to confirm. So as you can imagine, not the quickest process. It would make a lot more sense if they have forms that could be prefilled to help streamline the process. We had three round trip tickets to book so saved about $120 for our hour of time, was it worth it? In this particular case, yes, but time is money too, so one ticket, maybe not, but it's all relative. You do also have to pay for parking, which luckily is not too steep in Mesa and was a few bucks for the hour. I do not quite understand why more work for the staff leads to more affordable or cheaper tickets, but is an option for those traveling and if you have many tickets to book!

I had preordered the chicken curry (doesn't look great but actually tasted pretty good- curry consistency was more like tomato paste). I did wish there was more chicken in it tho. Hubby had the short rib (which is his default) and he said it was good- not enough protein, though. He skipped the carrots for some reason but enjoyed the rest. The chocolate dessert was the right amount of sweet and bitter. The new connected experience is nice- full free WiFi as long as you have a delta sky miles account. You use a QR code to connect to the seat back and can set your content preferences etc. The seats recline quite far tho and even in first- it was tight for my husband. Could be worse I suppose! The crew was fantastic too- super attentive and recognized your status etc. nice touch to personalize your travel.

My suitcase was damaged, to the point of being unusable, and because I was unable to speak with a delta agent at the airport, they will do nothing for me. Our flight delayed and I had a scheduled (costly) airport pickup that I could not delay, making me physically unable to speak with someone at the time. Customer service shared that they recognize this is frustrating but ultimately don't care and will do nothing to rectify the situation. We will never fly Delta again.

Debra went above and beyond to make the process smooth…read more There was a long line at the kiosk so I was able to walk right up when Debra called me to her counter. Debra gave me pointers on my carry on items and even walked me to the bag weigh machine to help me to be able to get onboard. Hooray to Debra... then there's my TSA PRECHECK point where the lovely lady with the lovely haircut was professional and knew why I kept beeping in the machine after the guy employee told me that he'd make me take everything off as long as it kept beeping... what a jerk!!! He made me darn near strip when she knew it was a simple hair clip that kept me beeping instead of creeping through On the plane...I was upgraded to first class type seats which were bigger seats upfront. Whoo hoo!!!: Tons of leg room and a arm rest... sheesh it's night and day comparison to the regular seats. Thanks to Debra my trip started off fantastic !!! The flights were some of my best flights taken honestly. Going up and dropping down were smooth with no turbulence which I applaud both pilots. Jobs well done!!!

They even allowed me to go on the flight!…read more I sat in the back and took pictures, my husband sat in the captains seat next to the instructor. It was a great experience, my husband had a lot of opportunity to fly the Cessna 172 G1000. I recommend extending the flight to one hour which allowed time to fly over the beautiful lakes. Our instructor, Travis Graham was amazing. I highly recommend the introductory experience for anyone interested in flying. My husband has done computer simulations for a long time and this is what he needed to commit to taking flight lessons.

Noted three issues with plane. Left alternTook three months and cost more than twice what it should have. More than $22,000 in unauthorized labor. Took the plane for .8 hour post maintenance flight. Plane returned with loose plug on oil pump causing massive oil leak also left alternator light was on constantly when returned right alternator light was on all the time. Ownersaidhewould fix he also said I was lucky because when he touched the plug it fell outThey did fix and left alternator light was on again. Confronted owner regarding price, his reply to manager was deal within but I will never work on your plane again. Received a bill for another$800 to fix the problems they still hadn't fixed.
