Typical bar pub food that nothing stood out but we did just order appetizers. With 5 beers and 2 sodas, the bill was only $117 which was actually surprisingly cheap to me.

Then, we ordered the Caesar Brussel Sprouts, the 1909 Burger, the Cilantro Lime Fish Tacos, and a couple more cocktails along the way. Everything was absolutely delicious! What really stood out, though, was the service. The entire staff treated us like we were longtime regulars--friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and reminded us of some of our favorite places back in San Diego. If you're looking for great food, excellent drinks, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile, this is the place. We'll definitely be going back!

Bacon was also a lil undercooked. Cranberry white cheddar salad was banging I must say. I added shrimp and it was suuuuper good.

The floors were noticeably messy, some might even say gross. There were random spills that clearly had not been wiped up, and even the bathrooms were bad. We waited a long time for our first round of drinks, and when the food finally came out, it was not even hot, which made it even more frustrating. The food itself did not live up to the price. The "tempura" artichoke hearts were basically just heavily breaded and fried, not light or crispy like you would expect or like the menu suggests. The charcuterie board, which was over $50, was kind of shocking. It looked like a random mix of deli meats, basic cheeses, canned fruit, and filler. Nothing felt special or worth the price. It looks amazing, but do not be fooled by what you see around you. You are better off spending $25 at Trader Joe's. The ribeye was wildly underwhelming. If I wanted a steak I could buy at Food 4 Less and grill in the park, I would do it myself. The chicken somehow managed to be even worse, dry and lacking flavor. Lemon and capers, where? Overall, it felt overpriced and poorly executed. Between the cleanliness issues, the long wait, and the disappointing food, it is easy to say it is definitely not worth your time. Check out the Gambling Cowboy instead. This is a no brainer when you read the replies from the owner to any negative feedback. If an establishment feels the need to defend itself in such an unprofessional manner, that tells you everything you need to know about taking your money elsewhere. No ownership, just blame. Nobody is out here writing reviews to ruin your business, you are doing that well enough on your own. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

The server gets 10,000 stars for being the major reason I'd go back. When servers go out of their way to treat me kindly and by providing creature comforts I didn't even know I wanted or needed? I take notice. Bravo!

There Belgium waffle was server was crispy and not light an airy , sub par. You could get a more satisfying breakfast at dennys. Totally did not meet expectations. I ask if these were the same owners as a few years ago and they said they were in transition. There drinks were room temp Go at your own risk at least for breakfast. Good luck!

He was very rude and little does he know he lost a lot of business from us in the future. The place was completely dead for a Saturday the day before Mother's Day. Only about 4 tables had players on them not like place was packed. It was a waste.. shame cuz was hoping to have a fun night. But John Wayne with his cheap beaver skin hat kinda ruined the vibe.. won't be coming back.
