I just went here yesterday for their May the 4th The Mandalorian & Grogu movie FREE special look event. It was a free early access screening, and the theater handled the crowd perfectly. I'd definitely make the drive back for another special event. Customer Service & Security: The staff was great! Quick, organized, and super nice. They gave us wristbands and let us in by numerical order. They were very clear about the rules and security. Having the security team there made the environment feel safe and professional. Food & Price: Everything for this event was free, including a cool exclusive poster on the way out. We also tried the caramel Gourmet Popcorn. It was delicious and the portion (looked like a small/medium bucket) was plenty for two of us to share with leftovers. Atmosphere: The vibe was awesome. Lots of fans in Mando and Grogu shirts, people with lightsabers and masks. Oh and even a little Grogu doll. It was a fun crowd to be around. Seating (IMAX): These aren't reclining loungers, but the chairs are spacious and rock back and forth. They were still very comfortable for the screening. Overall: Great experience. The theater was clean and the event was well-run. read more

The theatre was nice and fairly clean. The "rockers" may have been nice once upon a time. Both of ours had exposed bars in the seats that reminded me of sleeping on my grandmothers foldout sofa. The technology was nice but the seats just about made us leave before the movie ended. They need to spend some of the money on the seats. We will be checking out another theatre next time. Look elsewhere. Btw AMC, just making it really loud isn't as impressive as good quality sound and technology. Several individuals left complaining about the volume. worst experience of my life at a movie theater. The employees look miserable from the start they did not even know about the promotions. They were running for a kids program. I purchased my tickets almost a week ago for my granddaughter who is visiting that we only a year at the time I purchased the tickets through the website. There were no other tickets sold for the 510 showing the theater broke down and they moved the movie another they sold the tickets that I had already purchased for the seats. I had already purchased and made my family move. They tried to tell me that the other family purchased those tickets for that specific theater, but there was no other showing of this movie other than that we had purchased, there was no empathy. There was no understanding there was no reasoning with the employees trying to explain that I purchased them a week ago, and that there were no other movie tickets purchased at the time that I purchased but all they did was make my family move. They tried to get to move my granddaughter to the front of the theater. I will never give this movie theater, an answer of my money, and I will defer any friend family or anyone that will listen to this from visiting this theater in the future, due to the lack of empathy, the lack of knowledge and the lack of customer service provide provided to us. read more

The seats in theatre 2 were all filthy and stained up with who knows what. Prices for the food are outrageous. Avoid this place at all cost.

I give up. I have complained but it seems to be the standard every time. I tried another amc but it was just as bad if not worse. I'm tired of having to wear earplugs every time I go to the movies. Movies shouldn't be so loud they physically shake you. They shouldn't be so loud they permanently damage your hearing. I'm not being hyperbolic, my watch is measuring 100db+. You shouldn't need protection to watch a movie! I can guarantee that filmmakers want you to go in without earplugs so you can hear nuances in the sound design. I will be looking for another chain that does better or staying home. read more

This theater reminds me of the theater I would go to to see $1 movies when I was a kid except this is a fully priced movie theater. The popcorn was heavily full of kernels. The men's bathroom near my theater was closed fully so I had to run across the lobby during my showing. The employees were nice though and seemed interested in my night. I like going to the movies so I will for sure return here but if you want a nicer theater experience, look elsewhere. read more

Filthy movie theater. Seat had something nasty ground into the cushion. Couldn't switch seats because of assigned seats so covered with napkins. Food area is disgusting. Popcorn all over the counter and floor, liquids spilled and no napkins. Bathroom is gross. Water leak and not mopped up but they did put a "wet floor" sign so that's something. Good by AMC standards. The staff are friendly, and the screen is HUGE, which is really the main reason to go here aside from location. The popcorn is still not great but it's much better than other locations I've been to lately. The main drawback is no recliners, which on the one hand gives it a nostalgic atmosphere, but on the other hand is significantly less comfortable (though certainly not uncomfortable). read more

Prices are prices. They gotta make money somehow. Haven't been to the movies probably since 2018. So we came and saw Inside Out 2. We did not buy our tickets online, we bought them at the front. You have to pick seats and we got lucky to find 2 in the back. All the staff seemed to be in a hurry. Yes, it was busy. They do serve alcohol there. Looks like it may be free refills on popcorn and drinks. Always a good time to go to the movies. read more

It's a clean theater and the lighting was good. The IMAX was super loud and rattling speakers like they were about to break. The sound is not very clear, just super loud. The seats are okay but do not recline and get rather uncomfortable after the first hour. The staff was a little too laid back and service could have been better at the front counter. The popcorn was okay, but not too warm even when just purchased. I would go back to Orchard AMC but not the IMAX it wasn't very enjoyable. The movie was really good, though. I think the North side of the theater is much better than the South side. The sound is much clearer. read more

TURN ON THE A/C!!! And clean your theaters! I was in the Dolby theater on 8/08/25 @ the 9:45pm showing of Weapons and the theater had to have been over 85 degrees. It was an insanely uncomfortable experience! Not to mention the employees clearly didn't even do a spot cleaning of the theater following the previous showing. We have been visiting this location for the last year, last night however we had to cancel our avatar tickets last minute due to a snow storm. We were already in the area and were a bit worried and Jack made sure to help us figure out cancelling and refunding our tickets in a breeze. This theater is located in the back center of the Orchard shopping area in Westminster. We love that there are a ton of options nearby for meals before a show, and it's an easy option after errands for a weekend activity. The theaters are pretty spacious, and you can book your seats in advance which is ideal. I do wish they had updated seats like many of the AMC locations have but hopefully that is in the works. There are few theaters I would give 5 stars to, however the AMC in Westminster is worth it! The theater is always pretty clean, management is great about politely and quietly escorting out teenagers being loud or throwing popcorn, And the con session staff is fantastic. Quick, polite, and keep the place in great shape! read more

Why isn't there a special door for handicapped people since they have to park in the BACK of the theater and walk around?

Spent well over $50 to walk through trash. The place was dirty, I mean filthy and the bathrooms were disgusting! Go somewhere else!

I am disgusted and disappointed. I have been to this theater many times before and not once was I ever told I needed to be quiet or I would be kicked out! To give you background I was sitting down with my friends and we were whispering before the movie had started and some other customer left to go get a worker to tell us we needed to stop talking or we would be kick out. The worker was very impolite and had a very rude tone! I am so mad and will never return here. AMC do better you just lost a frequent costumer !! The people that visit this theater are just straight up rude. Me and a few of my girlfriends were watching the new movie with Glen Powell "Twisters" and were chatting at the start of the movie but we were very polite and quiet, then around 5 minutes later a young worker came up to us a stated very rudely and unprofessionally to be quiet or we would be kicked out. As I mentioned earlier the people are very rude, a women near us decided to contact a worker to talk to us. Don't recommend if you want to come here with friends and have fun. I should have read the reviews before coming to this theater and watching a movie on a hot summer day. As soon as we walked in, the lobby area felt so warm and muggy. As we were standing in line to pick up our mobile order, we thought surely it's not going to be as hot in the theater! We get to our seats and sure enough, it was toasty in there as well. I don't understand how customers have to pay a premium now at movie theaters and AMC cannot fix the air conditioning system. I am glad we had the earlier show as there wasn't many people on the theater, but I cannot imagine how suffocating it would feel if that theater was packed! If you plan on going to this theater call and ask if their A/C is working before buying tickets! read more

First time attending since Covid. Seeing the movie on the big screen was amazing. However we were greeted with slow staff. Drink machines out of ice and many of the soda varieties Popcorn out of butter hotdog was cold. Husband asked for replacement and it tasted overcooked and hard. Only mustard available was a bottle of spicy. Sitting in our seats there was dried food on floor. Very sticky floors. I can't believe how bad of an experience it was. Go to a different theater. Went to see Red One last night and the theater was disgusting, popcorn all over my seats and beer cans all over as well as spilled beer on one seat. Arrived on a Wednesday evening for a movie and the place was very busy and poorly staffed. There were only 2 people on registers and from what I could tell 1 person in the back. Only one soda machine provided soda and none really gave ice. The place was dirty and had hardly any snacks or drink options. With how much we paid for tickets and snacks and the fact the AMC did well with the stock market I feel that the place should have better staffing and inventory. read more

This weekend I went to see top gun II, they had no lids for drinks, only one of the beverage dispensers had coke and the line to get a drink was longer than any other line. The had no butter for popcorn! Thankfully the movie was really good because the theater was certainly off their game. read more

The last 4 times I've come to watch a movie here they have started the movie about 20-25 minutes late. The floors are always dirty, the snack bar was empty. I came out to let management know people were covering their ears and cringing at the volume and they didn't care. They said it was normal. No it's not. While there I downloaded an app that measures decibel level as I already have partially finished hearing. Most of the movie was above 90 decibels, and a lot of it was over 110 decibels. In a nutshell, permanent hearing loss is possible within 5 minutes. And when I m stipend this they again didn't care. It's unlikely I'll be back. read more

Our first visit to this theater since having a new home built nearby. Purchased tickets to see Jurassic World: Dominion on IMAX for the 7pm showing on Sunday June 12th via Fandango. We arrived 30 minutes before the movie started. Upon entering the theater I noticed signs posted about the theater having A/C trouble which indicated the A/C was struggling to keep up with the near or at 100° temps, but I don't recall it explicitly saying the A/C was completely inoperative. That's the first issue I and my family experienced here. Once we got to the snack counter to place our order we attempted to order a slushy/icee but were told this item was unavailable due to equipment failure. We attempted to buy ice cream, but the sadly the selection was limited and there were not a sufficient amount of nut-free selections available since our oldest daughter has a nut allergy. We ordered two soft drinks and when attempting to fill our cups one of the Coca-Cola dispensers was completely inoperative leaving just one working on the side of theater we were exiting the line from and this machine had no ice , all of which exacerbated the length of the line for other customers trying to get drinks before the movie starts. Our family had ordered pretzel snacks which were only fulfilled after my wife complained about waiting 20 minutes to get them upon which the snack bar attendant explained that one of their ovens was out of service. When we finally received the items we ordered we encountered the next problem with this experience as there were no napkins and no straws on either side of the snack bar. I did manage to find some disinfecting wipes, thankfully. After finally getting settled into our seats which cost $80+ to purchase we experienced just how unpleasant the temperature was inside the theater auditorium which was just awful. Hot and muggy. No air was circulating at all. With the cost of the snack and drinks coupled with the cost of the tickets we spent about $170 for a down right awful movie going experience and poor service which seems attributable to both personnel shortage and faulty equipment on-site. I understand one or two minor issues can occur that can be beyond a business control, however, all of these unfortunate events together is very reprehensible and could be attributable to poor management. I understand theaters have experienced their share of post pandemic woes, but this experience certainly has soured my family's desire to become regulars at the theater again, which's sad since we used to enjoy it so much pre-pandemic. On a side note my wife and I had our first post pandemic theater experience at an Alamo Drafthouse theater, which comparatively, was much nicer about a week ago for the Top Gun movie, but cost about as much to visit as this theater was for our family of four. Needless to say I think we'll be consuming most of our films from the comfort of our home theater for the foreseeable future. read more

Horrible Experience I'm not sure if the manager reads this but if you do maybe switch things up a bit? First of all bathrooms where dirty I mean truly the whole place was I understand it's a movie theater but I've seen cleaner movie theaters only reason I came here was due to it being close to my sisters friends home. Second NO BUTTER FOR YOUR POPCORN, literally I don't understand. We had gone in to see the new minions movie and they where all out of the minion cups for the kids. Broke there hearts. STICKY FLOORS at "butter/napkin station" I mean when I tell you my shoes literally couldn't even unstick from it I mean it! And overall the seats man most UNCOMFORTABLE seats in my life no recline nothing. Will continue to go to Belmar movie instead. Will not be coming back here again. read more

While they don't have reclining seats, they do have a bar where you can get a drink before your movie. There are a lot of restaurants around the theater, so it's easy to do lunch or dinner and a show. Larger theaters are reserved for blockbusters and smaller theaters for smaller movies. You will only find the standard movies here. A regular popcorn and drink will set you back slightly over $15, but you can become a Stubs member and enjoy some savings. Parking in a shared lot behind the theater or some street/meter parking available. Buying your tickets on-line and reserving your seats is definitely an added bonus! read more

Today's experience was horrible. My family and I went to go see Venom @7:10 PM. After 20 minutes we realized something was wrong. And, the movie didn't even start because someone in projections realized they messed up, it took one us to notify someone to fix the issue. I thought it was just an off day for the theater but a couple of regulars in the auditorium said today's incident was not the first time it has happened. Then, around the middle of the movie, it cut off. One of us had to notify someone again to get it fixed. And when they did fix the issue. They rewinded way too far back. Again, not sure if it was just a bad day but today was not ok. On a lighter note, concessions was fast and friendly. I don't know the woman's name but she did exceptionally well read more

I have been to this theater a few times now. First let me start that the parking is not that great. There is a parking lot, actually a few of them but they are behind most of the buildings and you have to walk between the buildings to get to the theater or shopping areas. When they built this shopping area, parking seemed to be last on the list. There are lots of shops in the area and also restaurants to choose from. Ticketing is easy, you have agents or you can purchase your tickets through the app or a kiosk in front. AMC members get rewards the more they purchase. The layout of the theater is good too. IMAX is to the left when you walk in. Restrooms are to the left and to the right. The snack bar is right in front when you walk in. I like the little bar on the left when you walk in. They do serve alcohol and have my hard-to-find liqueur Midori. The seats do not recline but they are comfortable. The arm rests with the cup holders do go up and down, thankfully. When you purchase tickets, they do have you pick seats. So seating is assigned, especially with IMAX movies. The theaters have numbers on them, so read your tickets too. They could vacuum and clean up a bit more, especially around the condiment stations. Overall my experiences have been good here so far. read more
