After we moved my elderly parents entire home of decades of accumulated things, to bring our family together to better deal with some health issues, we desperately needed help going through a mountain of boxes. Monica came to help us make sense of it all. She was so gentle and thoughtful about the meaningful family items, while also providing needed decisiveness and support with purging many unnecessary things. And she coordinated the removal of everything we decided we didn't need, so smoothly and effortlessly for us. Would hire her again in a heartbeat. read more

Monica has super-powers with this work, and if you book her, she'll share them with you. Is she an incredible organizer of stuff? YES, but more-over she thinks end-to-end to relieve stress and simplify, by focusing on your families processes and behaviors and offers ideas on how to redesign your space and things to accommodate. If you like working with someone who has incredible planning capabilities, clear ideas that can also then execute quickly, from literally moving the stuff around to sending links of what you need to purging not needed/ill-fitting belonging, or even design (wish she had been around when my house was built), then don't hesitate to reach out to Monica. Monica and her team have been guardian angels as I've reshuffled stuff, edited my life and downsized to a new home. She offers a vision for refreshing and editing one's "treasures" and then styles and presents them in thoughtful, beautiful ways. She hand-holds and counsels. She's trustworthy and very experienced. But most importantly, she is an expert at organization, grouping and working with your goals. She helped my parents move as well and lovingly helped them settle in an organized, freshly edited new home. They are thrilled. She has a team on call of plumbers, carpenters and movers that can transform your space as you wish. Monica is so talented, kind, thoughtful and hard working. She's a godsend!!!! read more

Monica is magnificent! Why? Great listener, attention to detail, non-judgmental, very patient and so bright. She works with you to help design and organize your room to fit your needs. In my case: a room where I can relax as well as a room to handle my affairs. Monica made me realize that I needed a multi-purpose room. She noticed the colors I always gravitated to (sea-green) and used that to accent my she-cave. Through her help, not only did I clean out, donate, and shred a lot of unnecessary papers, she designed my she-cave to a inviting, calm and happy safari-style room. Please note that Monica uses stuff that you already have to make your space special. In my case, my beloved animal pictures, wooden giraffe, and some other treasured artwork that I have collected over the years. She even took the time to have my unframed pictures matted with colors that went with my theme color. read more

Monica has a gift for helping families and individuals. I am grateful for her, her talent, her insight, and her kindness. Working through streamlining a home, and the decision making that goes along with it can be difficult and emotional. I am so thankful Monica walked through this processes with us... not only for her talent, efficiency, and eye for style and design, but also for her warmth and understanding. She works well with everyone in our family, and makes everyone feel heard, understood, and supported. I called Monica to help us blend two families. We went from a home with three people (one single mom and two young kids, ages 9 and 6) to a home with 6 people and a dog (mom, dad, and kids ages 17, 10, 9, and 6). I wanted to make sure my partner and his kids felt like this was their space too, and I wanted to make sure everyone felt like this was OUR family home. I tried to do it on my own, but realized I needed help. We all feel like this is now our family home, thanks to Monica. Monica was quick to understand how we use our space, how we can make our space and the use of it more efficient, and she seamlessly integrated our styles to create a home that feels like our new blended family. We've worked through organizing our master bedroom and bathroom, family room, and kitchen. Next-up is our kid's rooms, kids bathroom, and garage. Our kids can't wait to work with her. I was drawn to her for a number of reason, and her experience working with families with kids, and with blended families was a big one. Working with her has not only been a pleasure as she helped guide us through integrating our family's space, but it has also saved us a significant amount of money. She rearranged the rooms and space in the home so that we do not need to do an addition or remodel to comfortably fit in our home. We were all ready to go on a $30K-$40K remodel on part of our home to do in tandem with Monica's services. However, after 12 hours of working with Monica, we realized we don't need to do the project! read more

Monica is a miracle-worker. Almost every closet, cabinet and drawer was edited, cleaned and reorganized in four days, with editing homework assignments for us each night. Carloads of donations, and a special pickup of trash and recycling of stuff all left my house, and i do not miss a thing. I have lived with the post-organized house and it's a breeze to keep my home neat and tidy. It was truly a life altering process, well worth every penny. read more

We moved to the Peninsula area, from Portland, to a house that was open concept and smaller than my previous house. I was confused about how to organize and fit all my stuff into less available space. Monica has not only organized my kitchen, pantry, bedroom, closet and guest bedrooms with a logical plan, but has helped me to declutter in a way that I would never have been able to do by myself. My space in every room now makes sense; however, her warmth, genuineness, ability to connect to the space and to me has been equally invaluable and deeply cherished. I feel relieved to know that when I move again, Monica can help me make sense of the new space. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism and her skill, and recommend her with the greatest enthusiasm. read more

I cannot say enough great things about Monica! I am a busy mother of two little kids, a business owner, and in charge of most of the household chores. I was very overwhelmed and knew I needed some help to streamline and organize my life. That's where Monica comes in! She spent time learning about my life and my processes (or lack thereof). She found a way to organize my home so it was the most efficient it could possibly be. Not only did she put into place streamlined procedures for how my life is today, she thought about how the procedures would make sense as my kids entered the new phases of their lives down the road. While I look at Monica's services as an investment in my mental health and I am fine with the cost, I actually think she will end up saving me money long term. I was seriously considering bringing in a cleaning service every week (we are currently on a bi-weekly schedule). I now feel it is much easier for me to keep my home clean on my own and have decided I do not need a cleaning every week. One last thing I want to say about Monica - she went very out of her way to make a special space for my 2 year old daughter. My daughter had never really had her own room before. Monica saw that she was at the age where she would really appreciate and thrive in her own space. I didn't even realize how much she would appreciate her own little nook and now she can't stop talking about it! I am completely blown away by Monica's services and would feel comfortable recommending her to my friends - in fact, I already have recommended her to a few friends! I'm so grateful for everything Monica has done for me and I look forward to working with her much more in the future! read more

Monica has been such a big help to us and we can't wait to have her back for more. We had four kids in four year and we just have a lot of STUFF. In our first session, Monica revamped our kitchen. She is very strategic about the location of things. She made little centers for things (including a paperwork area for me to process all the incoming schoolwork). The way she thought things through has made our kitchen activites more streamlined. During our next session we did a thorough clean of our dining room. We took everything off the shelves, made some quick decisions on what to keep and purge and then she beautifully arranged the cabinets. We also did one bedroom that day. She has great vision for how to help kids become more independent. She also looks into the future and considers how a child can grow into their room. By the end of that day, the kids were thrilled with their room and I was over the moon with both spaces. I kept up the purging after she left - her energy is contagious. What I appreciate about Monica is her thoughtfulness. Purging can be invigorating, but it can also be sentimental and she led me through the process with a very gentle hand. I highly recommend her! read more

Monica is the type of person who is not just a service provider. She provides guidance, solutions and encouragement. A couple of years ago, we enlisted Monica's help with an organization overhaul. We were in dire need of a change and she was able to help us with that. Fast forward to a couple of months ago, when we re-enlisted Monica's help to revamp the kids' bedrooms. We recently and abruptly had to relocate to a new home and things just feel right in our new house. Monica was able to dial in on minor adjustments that made a huge impact. I am so grateful for everything that Monica has done for our family! read more

Monica is a miracle worker. After taking over a business that was established in the 80's, she came in and helped me declutter 30 years worth of stuff, get organized and pick out new furniture for the office. I now feel a sense of satisfaction when coming into my office each day and she helped make the space open, inviting and usable. I have and will refer her to all my clients, friends and family. read more

Monica is a lifesaver! With her guidance, were able to make a huge amount of progress, in just a few hours, in a garage packed with decades of family memorabilia. She has a calm, supportive energy but will give you that push you need. Before making any organizing suggestions, she will consider how the space could best be used and optimized for that person's life. She's more than an organizer - she brings all the skills of a life coach, interior decorator, and much more! read more

We hired Monica to help us organize our garage and she was amazing. She takes an overwhelming task and makes it manageable. She is warm and supportive, but challenges you to really think about your space, what you need and what you no longer need. After our garage, we asked her to help with some organization inside of the house. She approached this holistically and gave us great recommendations to rearrange our furniture to make the space more open, effective and livable before tackling the reorganization. Again, she helped us let go of many things that we no longer needed and we are loving the new set up. We will absolutely hire her again for our next projects and have already recommended her to friends. read more

Monica helped us with our move during a particularly stressful time last year, when we moved from the East Bay back to San Francisco. She was quick to respond to my initial inquiry; she wrote me back in less than a day and we spoke on the phone to arrange an appointment. In our first meeting, she already offered several helpful ideas that we implemented in our new home, and I felt like I was talking to an old friend, although of course we had just met. She texted me the day of our move to wish us good luck, and after the boxes had been unloaded to our new home, Monica and her crew came in and worked their magic. I will say, help with organizing is one of the services Monica offers, and she's fantastic at that, but for me the aspect that really helped us was the way she envisions a space. She has a holistic way of looking at a room that is so helpful. She is also very mindful of resources, in that we didn't end up spending money on containers, boxes etc. She tried to make do and reutilize what we already had, which was great. I would definitely recommend her services and will seek Monica out anytime I need help moving, organizing, or envisioning different uses for a space. You can't go wrong with her! read more

Monica and her team were wonderful to work with, and I highly recommend them. I was pregnant with our second child, a high risk pregnancy. And we had to move. And my doctors did not want me to do anything. I called Monica, and she fit us in once she heard the panic in my voice. After the pandemic and online school and a death in the family, we never had the chance to go through our things, especially with both of us working full time and with our very active son. Her team was a godsend, and they did their magic quickly over a stretch of a couple of days. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Monica and her team members, and we still plan to use them for small projects. We are deeply grateful for them helping us during a very vulnerable time, and I still use her suggestions months later. Our lives are richer for getting clear on what is important in our house and our lives and what is no longer needed. A true gift really, especially as we try to teach our children how to organize themselves and their lives. Thank you! read more

Monica and her team are amazing. First, Monica is very calm and methodical. I moved into my home two weeks ago, and I merged two households into one. She and her team first worked on unpacking all the boxes in the house. Then they started with my kitchen, and worked miracles. They categorized all the different kitchen items, and carefully put them away. Monica took pictures of all the drawers, and then shopped for the appropriate containers. The next day her and a helper used the various containers to perfect my kitchen cabinets. After they finished my kitchen, I realized my cabinets and drawers could hold its own to the most professional restaurant kitchen. Best of all, Monica provided me with a ton of references for services I need in my house. I love her affect and her calmness. I highly highly recommend Ambry Organizing! read more

We brought in Monica to help clean and declutter my parents' kitchen. We are very satisfied with the work she performed. To quote her own business description: she "gently coaches you through the process". Monica is a kind and caring professional; she was so very patient when interacting with my elderly parents, respecting their ideas and feelings, while guiding them to let go of expired, unused and unnecessary items. Her prices are reasonable. Don't hesitate to reach out to discuss a project and get a quote. You will not regret it. read more

I often call Monica at Ambry Organizing my "Chief Household Officer". Since working with her a year ago, I've returned to work, lost 25 pounds, and hyper-optimized the day-to-day operations of my house. In Dec 2015, after having my second child, I decided I wanted to return back to work. But the prospect of juggling a family, kid's school, cooking, cleaning, and trying to exercise plus working full-time just seemed daunting. Fortunately, Monica came into my life and she has really backed me up in the 'mom department'. Over the past year, she has organized and optimized my family room, kitchen, living room, dining room, basement, garage, master closet, master bathroom, and developed a "central command center" for everyday family operations. The benefits I've found: Clear mind, less stress. When my house is together, my mind is together -- there is less stress and I can reserve brain power towards other things, like work projects or kids activities More time. Because I spend less time cleaning and maintaining the organization system, I have more time with kids, husband, my career, and, most importantly, for myself. Monica has built thoughtful ways of organizing that are easy to maintain. Do more things. As a family, we love doing lots of things on weekends from tennis to violin to a spontaneous road trip! Monica's organization system has really helped my family scale - we can find the things we need and get out of the house quickly! (Unlike the pile of stuff I had to wade through before). More mindful. Because I can now see everything we own, we really have a sense for what we need vs don't need. I've reduced many of my purchases because I'm able to focus on what's really important. But what really differentiates Monica is her thoughtful and delicate approach. For example, she considers whether I'm left or right handed when deciding where to place items. She's very sensitive that change may be disruptive so she's very careful to ensure the systems work with us. For example, she knows my spouse loves his hoodies so she created a special hoodie section for him in the closet that he loves. Another aspect that differentiates Monica is her wealth of knowledge and experience. I enjoy the conversations I have with her when we went through purging exercises that really helped me to focus on what was most important. Last, Monica isn't just a home organizer but also, in a way, a coach. Her feedback is very practical and makes sense - I often come out of our talks thinking - "Why didn't I think of that?" I very much value her perspectives on family, home, and work. Thank you Monica for your amazing work! read more

I recently needed help going through my house to de-clutter and re-organize. I interviewed 3 Professional Home Organizers. The first one lied to me about having a business license and the second one came across as a very aggressive throw everything out type, it was so discouraging. Thank goodness I interviewed the third one; 'Ambry Organizing'. Monica from Ambry Organizing worked wonders with my home, and frankly with me. She took all the stress out of how to go about this huge task. I couldn't have done this without her. She helped me go through each room, at my own pace, without a hint of judgement at some of the mess I had accumulated. She helped me install organizing systems all over the house which has absolutely improved the quality of my life. For example; my kitchen and pantry is in such beautiful order that it is truly a pleasure to cook in it. I am extremely grateful to her for helping me and I only wish I had contacted her sooner. read more

Monica is a great teammate for helping you get organized. We moved into a new house and I was at a loss about how to organize our current stuff as well as what new items would be useful. Monica was great at organizing what we currently had and then making suggestions like "how about a large rug in this room" and then moving on to pulling up specific pictures so things could be ordered. She is also a good listener, I have a toddler so I didn't want to get particularly high end items and so she quickly adapted to suggesting less expensive amazon options but is also familiar with options at shops like Pottery Barn. She is a really energetic and positive person and this really helps provide the motivation to get through some potentially frustrating tasks (want to organize that junk drawer in your house?). I would strongly recommend her to help you tackle that organizational task you've been putting off! read more

My office was our family's catch-all and had gotten out of control. It was the last stop before stuff went to the garage, but often times didn't move from there. Every year I said I was going to organize it and the task was too daunting to ever start, until I hired Monica. She went through it with me systematically, helping me sort stuff into piles of keep, donate and throw away. We did it in 2 hour chunks so it was manageable. She shopped for the containers and items to organize my office into a place I could work without clutter and easily access what I needed quickly. That was 2 years ago and my office is still organized thanks to the system she helped me put in place. From there, we organized my kitchen and my daughter's bedroom. She also made suggestions on ways to rearrange my furniture, move pictures and rugs to give the house a new look and feel. I couldn't recommend her enough. She's fabulous! read more
