We won four hours of organizing services from Lisa at The Time Butler at a charity auction…read more We put off calling Lisa for a few months, but we eventually got around to making the appointment for a two-hour visit. I stalled by giving her a tour of the house, which took up most of the time, but she did "encourage" us to clear off the kitchen table -- we filled up a couple of bags of paper during that exercise. She returned a couple of weeks later, and we used up the other donated hours. On that visit, we cleared out the media shelves in the family room, uncovered the coffee table, and rediscovered the desk. We also filled up several bags of stuff (books, VHS tapes, magazines, toys, and who knows what else) which were suitable for charitable donations -- and Lisa took it all away. She's been back twice since then, helping us deal with the shelves and desk in the kitchen, all of which are organized, clear, and usable for the first time in a long time. And again, we donated a bunch of stuff to charity (as well as filling a recycle bin!). In between visits, I got rid of some excess hardware by putting it on craigslist (most of it sold within an hour); I've also started transferring old VHS tapes to DVD (though why I needed a DVD version of King Dinosaur is a matter of some debate with the rest of the members of the household). There's no magic to it -- we're doing all the work (well, she wields the labelmaker...) and making all the decisions. But she acts as a forcing function -- when she hands us a pile to go through, it seems silly to just put it back where it was (though "later" is always a valid decision -- and I've deferred some things by moving them to a room we haven't reached yet). I'm happy we won her services, and happier that I finally got around to calling and making the appointment!

At first I was reticent as I thought I needed to go through every single piece of paper and how could someone else help me? WELL... Chelsy helped box up everything and helped me decide what to keep, what to recycle, what to donate (she even took care of bringing stuff to various places that accept donations), what to shred (yep, she took care of that too). She was part organizer, part therapist. AND then she came to my apartment after the movers arrived and basically set everything up (with and without my help), came back on other days, framed and hung prints, AND the best is yet to come: I had to go out of town several days later, and Chelsy came to my apartment while I was gone (yes, I gave her the keys - she's VERY trustworthy) and continued to take my life out of boxes and set up my apartment. I returned last night from my trip and expected to walk in the door and be overwhelmed by boxes everywhere. NOPE, my entire apartment was set up, and the small handful of boxes of books and other assorted things I need to go through were well-placed so they're not evident, and I don't trip over them. She set up systems and organized the kitchen drawers and my closets and and and... Chelsy gave me a piece of mind, made my transition so much easier, and contributed to my sanity. I can't praise or recommend her enough. Three thumbs up!

I finally decided to give her a try and hired Chelsey/Xtra Set of Hands to help organize my office closet. She did a good job in a reasonable amount of time. I had her come back to help with my garage. My husband is a pack rat and likes to do crafts, so his stuff is all over the place! The garage was full to the brim with stuff! She cut right through it and quick! She separated all the alike stuff in different piles. Cleaned up the garbage and bagged all the goodwill stuff and then she asked me what I wanted to keep/needed and what I wanted to donate or throw away. I am very happy with the way everything looks and how organized things are! I was amazed how quick she went through stuff and she even took my goodwill items! Most recently I had her back to organize my kitchen. The kitchen was so cluttered, there was too much stuff on the counters and I just didn't have time to deal with it and didn't know where to put everything. The top of the refrigerator was full of boxes and cereal. She put everything in very nice baskets, labeled them and got all the stuff off the counters. She got baskets for the pet stuff in the cabinet and suddenly, I had all this room! It is such a relief and now I have a place for everything! She even brought the baskets and supplies with her. The kitchen looks sooo clean and clutter free now, I just love it!!! I am addicted, I highly recommend her services. It is such a great feeling! I plan on having her come back soon to work on other projects Jeanine DiGiacomo

I interviewed for a role and was contacted the following week by The Mice Group letting me know I was offered the position. The Mice Group asked me if I wanted to start the new job on 6/7 or 6/14. A couple days passed and let them know the 15th would work best, by the time I signed the offer letter and let my employer know, the 15th made the most sense. I received an offer letter from The Mie Group on 6/1, signed and returned it on 6/3, with a 6/15 start date as noted in the offer letter. On 6/8 I was told that my start date may be pushed out but they would let me know by that Friday, 6/11. I never received a call on 6/11, it gets better... On Monday the 14th, I asked for an update and was told they still did not have one for me but they were working on it. Needless to say, I did not begin the job on the 15th. Instead, I was told they wanted me to interview again with someone else. Yes, this is all after I accepted an offer and signed an offer letter. On 6/23, I spoke with someone else at said employer. I was told this would be more of a conversation than an interview, which was NOT the case. The person I spoke with did not even know I was given an offer letter, in fact, he laughed and said I should "take it up with The Mice Group", real nice. I was informed a couple days later that I would not be proceeding with employment and did not have the job. Yea, the job I signed the offer letter for. Amazing. So, I gave my employer notice and now am out of work. Thank you to The Mice Group for screwing me over, royally. I would NOT recommend working with these people. Oh, to add insult to injury, when calling for my references they disclosed the position I "was being considered for", after I signed the offer letter, and then tried to poach their services to my references. Super professional.

As an international student, timely reporting of my employment status and specific support from the employer to maintain my visa status. The Mice Groups, specifically the Director of Operations, Hayley Chan-Culpepper would try and keep the processing times for these documents and procedures as low as possible, typically sending them back the same day. In fact, I don't remember a single time when there was a delay in communication in general. While my entire employment was remote in Seattle, WA, that did not affect anything, as everything was handled very efficiently over emails. Another advantage would be the type of jobs which the Mice Groups provides. As a contract employee at Innopeak Tech, the job required me to be on my toes all the time and gave me a great opportunity to grow. The fact that I was a fresher, meant that this was the perfect place for me to begin my career. That, combined with the awesome support means that I can recommend The Mice Groups to anyone looking for a job during these trying times.

We were on the same page immediately! Keith taught me invaluable systems that I've been putting into place around my home between our sessions. I knew I wanted to get rid of a lot of stuff, but I really appreciate that Keith never actually pressured me to "just get rid of" anything. He'd see me looking at something really hard and ask me a few questions to help me clarify my feelings and align my decisions with my goals. I had a lot of Big Feelings around certain spaces so having Keith's practical problem-solving and non-judgmental presence was invaluable in transforming my home into a place I enjoy using. I'm so happy to report I've been using my kitchen! Plus he's honestly just a joy to hang out with for a day. I highly recommend Keith to help you to fall in love with your space!

After six sessions he's not only transformed my space but my relationship to it: my home is no longer a source of stress and chaos, but a sanctuary where I can fully unwind. I can now maintain a baseline of organization with ease, without needing long weekend cleaning sessions. I know where everything is and don't need to waste time searching for my things. I never thought I could be this type of person. What's special about Keith is that he doesn't just organize, he teaches you the skills required for maintaining an organized home over the long term, tailored to you. He's trained with Marie Kondo and specializes in organizing for ADHD. He asks excellent questions in the decluttering process and has brilliant strategies for organization--I don't have ADHD but find that his methods work very well for my busy pace of life. I've developed a better understanding of why disorganization happens and how to address them and create systems as needed. All that to say, working with Keith is one of the best investments I've ever made. He's also a lovely person to spend an afternoon with, and always communicative, warm, and incredibly punctual. I'm so grateful to him and could not recommend his services more.

In fact I have never called the caregivers on their cell phone at all. I was told by YOU that I am NOT TO CALL MY MOTHER AT HER HOME when the caregivers are there because the caregiver Donna wants it that way. My friend and my husband heard you tell me this, as you were on speakerphone. You know very well I did not do that as that is not my argument and you don't have any record nor do the caregivers that I have called them. You are speaking untruths and you know it. I have read other negative comments about your business. You must scroll further down. They are surely there. Pictures paint 1000 words and that is proof enough of which I have 3. I also have my husband to verify and my sister who you spoke to as well, where you forbid ANY contact with my mother when the caregivers are there. Your employee Stephanie was at the coffee shop too where we met discussing all the horrific practices going on with your 'caregivers'. She saw and heard you laughing at my concerns as to the 'care' my mother was given. And you are really trying to base your response on me calling the caregivers after their shift??? That is your only retort? And a lie, no less. People concerned for their family care, think twice and then run!
