You guys need to book with MAI. she's literally the best and did the most fantastic pedicure ever and it was gel. I liked how she asked questions meaning she was really interested. I also like the way the salon looked. It was very classy read more

Not clean establishment and quality of work doesn't reflect their high prices. Charged an extra $10 to remove my gel polish on my toes when I was getting a gel pedicure. She used electric nail bit to remove the polish it took maybe one minute and the tool split my actual toe nail. After one week my nail polish nails an already chipping off! Waste of money waste of time and damaged nails read more

I got a gel-x manicure here and loved it. I haven't tried this service before and i think i like the look of gel-x more than any other type of manicure. My technician was Mai, who was so sweet and fun to chat with while she worked on my nails. She did a great job and the color she chose was exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be back for more of these manicures! Especially over the holiday season! The price was affordable as well. I am very pleased with the whole experience! Thank you! read more

BOOK WITH MAI! Attention to detail, patience, and consideration for the health of my nails longterm was unprecedented and I don't plan on letting anyone else do my manicure. She did builder gel for me, which requires a lot of careful skill and it was noticeably better than my prior experiences have been. read more

Tim provided my pedicure today. Instead of filing my big toe nail, he was filing away on the skin underneath until I stopped him. His attention to detail when painting was poor. This location frustrates me because the quality of service and attention to detail is VERY inconsistent. I'll keep looking until I find a good nail salon and you should too. read more

I went here for a pedicure 1/24/26 and have since lost two toenails due to the toenail fungus I got from this salon. I have never had any issues with toenail fungus previously and can see no other time I could have contracted it. So upsetting! read more

I had a full acrylic set done by Joann on June 25th for an upcoming event. Within two days, three nails broke, forcing me to return before the event for emergency repairs. Unfortunately, that wasn't the end. In less than 2 weeks, six nails in total broke, with two causing bleeding injuries--the last one happened while I was just doing laundry. Despite this, the salon refused to offer a proper resolution. I was told it was "normal wear," and the technician couldn't be held responsible. Instead of a refund or complimentary correction, I was offered 10-25% off and a sugar scrub, after spending over $100 plus Uber rides to fix their repeated mistakes. This is not just a complaint about one broken nail--this is about being injured twice, returning multiple times, and then being told it's not their responsibility. The service was rushed, the application lacked durability, and the salon ultimately dismissed my concerns. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Ohio State Cosmetology Board. Avoid if you care about safety, durability, or customer service. read more

I found this place randomly. I needed my nails redone from breaking a couple and needed new paint. I also needed toes painted again. it was clean. smelled good. everyone was so nice. The lady that did mine was Tara. She was so kind. I enjoyed chatting with her. would highly recommend her and this shop. read more

Angela was the worst nail technician that I have ever encountered. I came in for a gel polish change, and she kept trying to insist that I needed a fill-in, which I just had exactly one week ago. I always get my nails square rounded, but she filed them down to where they were square and rough around the edges and when I corrected her, she had an attitude about it. I was done in 15 minutes because she wanted to rush through it so she could move onto the next customer waiting. I always tip regardless of the service, however, today I left nothing more than the $32 that I paid for my gel polish change. This is the WORSTlocation that I have ever visited and I guarantee I will never return. read more

Pretty bad services. I get my nails and toes done monthly and this was the worst pedicure I've had. I had to ask him to file my toenails and not just cut them and leave them jagged. His nail dig into my toes when he was painting them and it was actually painful. The massage and lotion was lackluster and was even washed off...my mom said her pedicure was okay, not worth the dulux pricing. I was going to get my fingernails done as well with dip French tips but I couldn't trust it or waste my time and money. Do not suggest. read more

We scheduled an appointment because our regular place was unavailable and we were sorely disappointed. My poor sister practically had her toes filed off (slight exaggeration) and then had her calf slapped (no exaggeration) as an indication to go back into the water. Both of our technicians worked very fast with poor quality we would expect with a deluxe pedicure. My paint is all over my toes as they did everything they could to get us in and out in a half hour flat. Not only do I not recommend this chain (not our first bad experience at an Ambiance) but I especially do not recommend this one. read more

Ambiance Nail Spa - I love coming here, Jlo always does a beautiful job and takes good care of my natural nails. - Day Spas Near Me - Mason, Ohio

As someone who likes to give the benefit of the doubt- the customer service at this establishment is absolutely unacceptable! The first time we came a couple weeks ago, my mom had a poorly done pedicure. when asked to fix the chipped polish, the technician told my mom that it's her fault for having such short toenails and that she refused to fix it. My sister-in-law's technician used the wrong color on her nails: when asked if she could get the color she requested, she rolled their her eyes, said the color she used was "way prettier anyway" and told her that it wasn't her fault that her coworker gave her the wrong color, so no. Today was our second time getting pedicures at this location, and our experience was baffling. my mom's technician used a drill to remove her regular nail polish and tore her cuticles up to the point of light bleeding. Her technician began speaking to my technician in a different language while pointing to my mom's feet. After confronting her that she was talking about my mom, she agreed with a smirk that she made the suspected rude comments about my mom. THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THIS EXPERIENCE: her technician was using the scrub sponge on my mom's feet, DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR, PICKED IT UP, AND CONTINUED USING IT ON HER FEET! I have never seen such unsanitary practices especially in front of a customer! I would avoid Mai, unless you want a floor sponge used on your nails. read more

Please don't trash talk clients (or do so in a less obvious way) My pedicure with Tom started off well. Then, we transitioned over to the desks so we could start my gel removal and manicure. The first odd thing to occur was that I was asked to pay for my services before they even started my manicure. I was asked to fish out my card (one handed as I still had tin foil on my fingers-tips, mind you.) I was also asked to sign the receipt (still with tin on!) in this way. Odd. But willing to let it go it as I knew they were getting ready to close up shop. A few minutes later, I pointed out to Tom that he did not remove all the gel off of my nail before starting my manicure. He reassured me that he would file it off. I self deprecatingly said "I'm sorry if I'm being picky, these are my bridal shower nails!" To which he muttered something under his breath in his native language and the two nail technicians next to him started laughing. This obviously made me feel uncomfortable and insecure as I wondered if they were making fun of me in a language I didn't speak or understand. Just when I thought I was overthinking and that they probably weren't even discussing me, one of the female technicians walked over to our station, looked down at my hands (literally bent down and leaned in to look at them) and started laughing. I was in disbelief! I sat silent for the remainder of my apt completely uncomfortable and counting down the minutes till I could get out of that salon. Please do not make your customers uncomfortable in this way. I sincerely hope you better yourselves. Sincerely, Your trilingual client from 6:45 on Thursday read more

Worse nail salon ever! I have been getting my nails done for 20 years and I've never been this unhappy. I had an appointment and they still made me wait 40 minutes. Then the technician cut them way too short and they were all different lengths and shapes. I asked her to please fix the shape (which i later found out, they charged me a "shaping fee") and she seemed to make it worse. I went to pay it was three hours later and it was twice as much as the website states and when I asked to speak to the manager she just said no refunds but they wanted to start all over. New to Ohio, I drove in from Illinois and I chose this place due to the reviews and seemed ok. I saw pricing online and says gel manicure $40 and extra if I wanted a master tech ?? At any rate, I did not ask for anything special. I saw that basic pedicure is $33. I got Thuy as my tech and not sure if she's a master or what and she didn't say. When she finished painting my nails I simply asked do you not massage the hands after? At my usual spot, it's all included. She said oh, you want a massage? And began with applying lotion. I'm happy with my service, however, NOT the price. I usually pay no more than $60 for my mani/pedi (including hand massage) and my bill was $96!!! Shocked, I asked to explain the charges and she said $45 for the manicure, $35 for the pedicure and the massage was additional $12 plus taxes. I will NEVER go back to this place and felt I was over charged. Had I known the massage was going to cost me extra, I would have never asked about it. I went back and looked at the prices and it says additional massage so I thought it was only if I wanted a second massage. Plus it was not even 10 minutes. You guys got me this time on pricing, but never again and I would advise anyone who is new from out of town to find another salon. If you chose to go here due to location, make sure they advise you of the cost prior to your service. read more

Love Tara... she's the best. My 96 year old mother adores her too! She does such great work and treats my mom as if she were hers as well!

I've been getting my nails done, both pedicure and manicure/SNS, for years with Cindy. She always does an excellent job and takes the time with all the details. I may be elderly, but her attention to detail makes me feel fabulous! The ladies at the front desk are very personable and everyone is always pleasant. The place is immaculate, and I highly recommend that if you haven't tried it you need to go to Ambiance Nails in Deerfield! read more

MAI- worse pedicure that I have experienced. Run, do not go here. Mai was incredibly rude, talked about me to the other tech- which I pointed out and she agreed with a smile. Then when she was using the sponge to scrub my feet, she dropped it on the floor and then picked up and went straight back to my feet with the same scrub sponge (did not rinse off or anything). Also, she used the drill to remove my nail polish and kept hurting me. I only had a small amount of polish on one toe and could easily be removed with acetone- I did not have on gel polish. Painful and unacceptable. Never spoke to me just talked about me to the other tech. Read other reviews about MIA- not so good! My daughter was with me and the cute tech did good on her pedicure- but it was all ruined due to the RUDENESS of MAI. Worse customer service ever! If you want to feel discriminated against, pedicure with instruments off the floor- then this is your place- just ask for Mai! read more

Hard to tell in a photo but the gel doesn't go to the edge of my nails. In some spots you can even see my old polish. The tech was using her fingernails to get excess polish off the sides which left a very inconsistent and poor job. The filing is pretty uneven and I'm bummed because I asked for squoval which she didn't understand. I won't be coming back to this location. read more

Okay--- I've been once.. I went to Janet.. I got the dip with a tip...Let me tell you I always thought I just had ugly fingers/nails so therefore the acrylics wouldn't ever be ... I was wrong... Dead wrong.. Janet gave me the best nails I've ever had y'all... Seriously. I'm legit paying 30$ more thaI was paying before... That's super unfortunate.. But I can justify it because of how much I loved the end result.. Going today for a walk in pedi... Update: Janet is no longer there but I'm now seeing Joann- second pic is her work- great experience I also decided to just use my natural nail with dip :) read more

After having a terrible experience at AMBIANCE VOA, I decided to try AMBIANCE in MASON/DEERFIELD. I told them about what happened at VOA and I explained I had a foot injury and was on a cane. Madison ( the reception gal) was able to work me in with NO NOTICE. and worked to assist me in every way possible. Tara the nail tech was great and helpful as well. I was really impressed with the attitude and positiveness which they expressed with my medical issues I can't thank them enough for making the experience there a good one. I will definitely go back to this salon and make them my "regular nail salon" when I am well. read more

I love my nail tech; she's wonderful but I really don't like the management. Every time I visit this Ambiance location, I ask myself why on earth did I come here again? I book manicure appointments and they are consistently 20 minutes behind appointment schedule. If I do walk-in pedicure it's a 30+ minute wait. Today- I was hosted 26 minutes behind my manicure appointment time, and I was 5 minutes early. Honestly the service offering isn't any better than other area locations and neither is their pricing. I guess if your going to an Ambiance Nails - I recommend the Harpers Point or Liberty locations. At least there quality and timeliness of service are slightly more of a priority. read more

I used to think Ambiance was great... not anymore! My 12yr old daughter and I went for mani/pedis. They were in a HUGE rush, didn't tend to my ingrown toenails, my nails were barely filed. Then at the END told me my daughter would be charged as an adult! (She's a tiny 12yr old.). AND- b/c she wanted to use 3 colors (one per nail... same amount of polish used...) I would have to pay another $2. Nope, I won't be back. read more

Ambiance has a way of mastering the details so the overall experience is just perfect! It started with booking the appointment. The reception desk answered with a warm friendly and easy to understand greeting. She listened to our not well defined needs and suggested the appropriate services. Then she booked us for later that afternoon. When we arrived we were greeted again with warmth and friendliness and escorted to our clean and new massage chairs. No duck tape like I've seen on other salons! Our nail techs were professional and experienced and let us visit with each other instead of awkwardly trying to insert themselves into our visit. I can't wait to go back! Don't waste your time and money on lesser salons! One tip- make sure you bring cash for tipping your nail tech although some take venmo. read more

I did not enjoy my experience at this salon. I usually go to the Oasis nail salon off of Tylerville road, but for convenience I decided to go here. The girl at the front desk was sitting on the counter hopped off when I came in. Then I didn't wait long till I was helped and was told to pick a color. With this process I felt very rushed. Which then throughout the whole process I felt rushed! Usually at the other nail salon they dip my nail at least 4 times this place they only dipped one and applied the rest of the polish very sloppy! I am not coming back and should stick with what I know is great service. read more
