Didn't even last a DAY. I also noticed that after being tossed around to THREE different nail techs, the cat eye was hardly noticeable on some of my fingers and didn't even match! Might be the worst gel polish ever. Two nails had chips after 2 days, 6 days later almost all of them are peeling off and look awful. $43 + tip and a complete waste of money. I am between three and four stars for this nail salon. The great news is that you can instantly walk in and get an appointment. There were tons of manicure and pedicure chairs available and several workers waiting to assist customers. I walked in at 7 PM and was able to get a pedicure and allow my nails to dry before the store closed at 8:00 PM. Everything was just okay-- I can't say things were over the top luxurious, but they were not bad either. Pedicures are $35 +7 dollars for a French manicure plus tax: Mid $40s for a nice pedicure while sitting in a massage chair. I have been to the Oakley location, as well as the location in Westchester. Truthfully, I felt like I got a longer pedicure and foot massage, as well as a little more attention than I did at this location... But I am wondering if it is because I was one of their last appointments. The gal who did my pedicure did a great job and did all that I asked-- my experience was alright. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly, although it wasn't a big to-do: probably good enough for 7:00 on a week night. read more

I usually go to the Harpers Point location. This new location was offering 10% off for new clients. I'm so glad I did!! Kay did a gel manicure on my own nails with French tips. I've been trying to let them grow and the gel keeps me from picking at them. They look amazing!! I can't believe how quick she did and how good they look. I did have to wait at least 20 minutes past my appointment time before someone was able to do my nails, and no one let me know that they were running behind (it appeared that a lot of people were waiting, and they weren't walk-ins either). But the person who did my nails did a good job! I was getting gel removed and just regular polish put on. She was trying to convince me that the regular polish wouldn't last very well, but I didn't want the gel, and I was happy to see that my nail polish lasted almost two weeks! Definitely the longest any regular nail polish from a salon has lasted, so that was great. read more

3rd time was not the charm. End result was not good, nor was how they got there. I went in for a pedicure, but I felt like I was a major problem to them. My soak was only about 30 seconds...literally. I just use regular paint, no gel, so my deluxe pedicure was less than a 20 min visit. My old paint removal was sloppy and not fully removed. So now, I have 2 colors on my toes. Do yourself a favor, if you don't have a friend that works there, do not bother going. Nail tech spoke no English except hi and thank you. She hardly scrubbed my feet for my pedicure, they still look as rough as they did when I went in. When she did my manicure she used a drill on my regular nails to apply regular nail polish. When I tried asking her about it she couldn't understand me. There is no reason to use a drill on a regular manicure. Ambiance used to be my go to- but they have had their last chance between never being able to walk in at other locations and now a very poor mani/pedi. I wasn't able to get a convenient appointment time at my usual salon so I went here. They advertise themselves as the best in Cincinnati so I can't go wrong right? Wrong. The tech had the strangest technique for SNS. Her technique concerned me but I trusted her as the professional. I had my nails done on Friday afternoon and by Monday morning two nails were chipped. I went back and the same tech repaired the nails with only a flippant "sorry" as she walked away. I'm now two weeks later and every finger is chipped. Three of my nails have broken. This was the worst experience I've ever had and will not be back. BTW I was charged for the tech being a "master" and she most definitely was not. read more

I walked in for a Men's Pedicure at 3:28pm. I was told by the receptionist (Shay) that there was going to be a wait (even though) there were literally 16 people inside of the establishment. But I shrugged it off and asked how long because maybe they try to keep the occupancy down since COVID. She said "well there are others ahead of you that are waiting for services so maybe 20 mins". She asked what service I wanted, my name, and number and took everything down. I told her I would wait in my vehicle and await her text/call. Well folks, an hour later and still nothing!! No text, no call, no carrier pigeon either!! If I could give them no stars then I would. I have been going to Ambiance monthly but the last few times I have had issues with my gel polish chipping within a day of service. This past time I got a lilac purple color. When I left my nails looked perfect, within hours the color was not what I left with. Upon contacting the salon to let them know, their response was, thank you for letting us know we will work with our team to prevent incidents like this happening in the future. I got SNS nails and they looked great and the experience was good but the dip cracked within days and I've gotten them done twice from here and they don't last longer than a week. It's just dip on my natural nails and they crack and chip too easily for the price. read more

I am reviewing this salon as a cautionary measure. My 18 yo daughter has gotten her nails done here for about a year, typical gel manicure, always looks great, and price is reasonable at around $50. Recently she's added designs & acrylic which has upped the cost, roughly $80. No idea if this is reasonable or not. Too expensive IMO. However, today both of my daughters went to get nails done, and the 15 yo who never gets them done & has no clue what is going on with the gel, S&S, acrylic, etc., sat down showed a picture & off they went. Never explaining what this design was going to entail or COST. $96 (before tip). For a manicure that it appears they did everything possible to. Acrylic tips, S& S, shaping, color, mani.... I'm writing this to give parents a heads up that none of this was discussed with my daughters to let them know BEFORE they started what this will cost. That is unacceptable. I've complained to the salon, will never return on principle, but wanted to give a heads up. Yes, the nails look cute... but not $96 worth of cute. read more
