If I could give negative ten 100 stars I would. This place is such a joke. Asked for a simple fill in. My appointment was @415. I did not leave until 645. AND WITH NOTHING DONE. The first set didn't "cure" correctly, so I picked a new color. And this is what is looked like. I should've known this would be a terrible experience when the tech started filling in my nails with clear acrylic instead of the pink that I had before for my French tips. Enjoy this mess. And no I'm not kidding. I wish I was. read more

Went in for a fill in with black nail base and red glass ball cat eye gel polish on 8/7, charged me $74.00. Woke up on 8/8 and noticed that almost HALF my polish was peeled away. Didn't even last a DAY. I also noticed that after being tossed around to THREE different nail techs, the cat eye was hardly noticeable on some of my fingers and didn't even match! I'm so disappointed, I'm going to get it all fixed today after work 8/8, I'll post an update! But my first time here felt very rushed and it felt like nobody knew how to do a cat eye..... read more

I was recommended to kelly I made an appointment with kelly another technician did my appointment when I asked why I was not with kelly they said oh we didn't realize you wanted to be with kelly. I would rather do my own nails at home then go to ambiance. I can give myself a better manicure in less time. read more

Might be the worst gel polish ever. Two nails had chips after 2 days, 6 days later almost all of them are peeling off and look awful. $43 + tip and a complete waste of money. Only good thing was nail tech was nice and she did help me pick a color I love.... That i will get at a different salon. read more

I am between three and four stars for this nail salon. The great news is that you can instantly walk in and get an appointment. There were tons of manicure and pedicure chairs available and several workers waiting to assist customers. I walked in at 7 PM and was able to get a pedicure and allow my nails to dry before the store closed at 8:00 PM. Everything was just okay-- I can't say things were over the top luxurious, but they were not bad either. Pedicures are $35 +7 dollars for a French manicure plus tax: Mid $40s for a nice pedicure while sitting in a massage chair. I have been to the Oakley location, as well as the location in Westchester. Truthfully, I felt like I got a longer pedicure and foot massage, as well as a little more attention than I did at this location... But I am wondering if it is because I was one of their last appointments. The gal who did my pedicure did a great job and did all that I asked-- my experience was alright. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly, although it wasn't a big to-do: probably good enough for 7:00 on a week night. read more

I usually go to the Harpers Point location. This new location was offering 10% off for new clients. I'm so glad I did!! Kay did a gel manicure on my own nails with French tips. I've been trying to let them grow and the gel keeps me from picking at them. They look amazing!! I can't believe how quick she did and how good they look. I will stick with this master nail tech as long as she works there. Hands down best manicure I've ever had! Look at the pics The salon looks amazing! Everything is so clean and new. All Covid precautions being taken. I felt 100% comfortable! read more

Great visit with Tina after having to return so soon on Sunday after getting shellac on Friday! The only odd thing from her was she insisted my polish was SNS and I kept telling her it was shellac. Weird she would think I had no memory of what service I had just the Friday before! Very strange....#ihavenomemoryimpairments read more

i've been going to this nail salon for about a year now and i've had a great experience every time! it's always clean, the staff is kind, and i never have to wait. i always go to emily, she's so careful and detailed, and my nails always come out looking perfect! the prices are very fair & i really appreciate how professional they are! read more

The worst mani ever. I showed the tech the smears, jagged edges, chips, smears... His solution was for me to come back later. Why? For more wasted time? No one (the manager, perhaps? ) from the salon has reached out. As I said, I would never go back or recommend this place to anyone, so I guess anything further would be fruitless. read more

Two stars because my technician was great and it was easy to book an appointment. $55 spent for a mani and pedi and my mani looks like crap. Got it done Saturday, looked great. Today is Sunday and I haven't done anything that warrants being "rough." Won't be back, and no I didn't go back to get it fixed cause there was no time. read more

Bad and fast service for me. I asked a simple pedicure with white regular polish. But the lady that did my toes don't even know how to paint or shape nails read more

The technician was excellent but the price is ridiculous for a gel service. Overall the service is very pleasant and the employees are very prudent, something that is very hard to find in a nail salon. read more

I did have to wait at least 20 minutes past my appointment time before someone was able to do my nails, and no one let me know that they were running behind (it appeared that a lot of people were waiting, and they weren't walk-ins either). But the person who did my nails did a good job! I was getting gel removed and just regular polish put on. She was trying to convince me that the regular polish wouldn't last very well, but I didn't want the gel, and I was happy to see that my nail polish lasted almost two weeks! Definitely the longest any regular nail polish from a salon has lasted, so that was great. read more

3rd time was not the charm. End result was not good, nor was how they got there. I went in for a pedicure, but I felt like I was a major problem to them. My soak was only about 30 seconds...literally. I just use regular paint, no gel, so my deluxe pedicure was less than a 20 min visit. My old paint removal was sloppy and not fully removed. So now, I have 2 colors on my toes. Do yourself a favor, if you don't have a friend that works there, do not bother going. I really felt like all they wanted me to do was hand my money to them, then leave. read more

I wasn't able to get a convenient appointment time at my usual salon so I went here. They advertise themselves as the best in Cincinnati so I can't go wrong right? Wrong. The tech had the strangest technique for SNS. Her technique concerned me but I trusted her as the professional. I had my nails done on Friday afternoon and by Monday morning two nails were chipped. I went back and the same tech repaired the nails with only a flippant "sorry" as she walked away. I'm now two weeks later and every finger is chipped. Three of my nails have broken. This was the worst experience I've ever had and will not be back. BTW I was charged for the tech being a "master" and she most definitely was not. read more

I walked in for a Men's Pedicure at 3:28pm. I was told by the receptionist (Shay) that there was going to be a wait (even though) there were literally 16 people inside of the establishment. But I shrugged it off and asked how long because maybe they try to keep the occupancy down since COVID. She said "well there are others ahead of you that are waiting for services so maybe 20 mins". She asked what service I wanted, my name, and number and took everything down. I told her I would wait in my vehicle and await her text/call. Well folks, an hour later and still nothing!! No text, no call, no carrier pigeon either!! If I could give them no stars then I would. The customer service is severely lacking in this place and it's a shame because it looked clean and well kept. read more

Nail tech spoke no English except hi and thank you. She hardly scrubbed my feet for my pedicure, they still look as rough as they did when I went in. When she did my manicure she used a drill on my regular nails to apply regular nail polish. When I tried asking her about it she couldn't understand me. There is no reason to use a drill on a regular manicure. Ambiance used to be my go to- but they have had their last chance between never being able to walk in at other locations and now a very poor mani/pedi. I will just start scheduling at an actual salon. read more

I had sns done here twice and both times were exceptional! The most recent was done by Mai and she was excellent; she talked me into doing eyebrows too which I was leery about but was not disappointed. I was in and out in an hour too, including taking off the sns! Definitely recommend Mai and waterstone Ambiance. read more

I have been going to Ambiance monthly but the last few times I have had issues with my gel polish chipping within a day of service. This past time I got a lilac purple color. When I left my nails looked perfect, within hours the color was not what I left with. Upon contacting the salon to let them know, their response was, thank you for letting us know we will work with our team to prevent incidents like this happening in the future. It was great to know that my $55 was spent on color that I did not want and the company didn't seem to care. I read more

My mom and I had an appointment for pedicures at 2:30 and it took a while to finally get seated because it was busy, but the pedicures were great and we were easily able to add manicures. Love the salon itself, so clean and pretty! I've been here a couple of times and my nails always turn out great! read more

I got SNS nails and they looked great and the experience was good but the dip cracked within days and I've gotten them done twice from here and they don't last longer than a week. It's just dip on my natural nails and they crack and chip too easily for the price. read more

Clean, Prompt & Courteous. They follow Covid protocol and everyone was super nice. I have switched to Ambiance Nail Spa from my former salon. I had a couple of other techs at Ambiance for SNS and also pedicures. However the last time I went I had Kelly. I will be going back to her for sure! She is pleasant and did a fantastic job! read more

Updating this review because upon further experiences at this location ambiance has lost a loyal customer. Nails look good but dont last long. After this review was posted I did the math and also realized I was overcharged 20$. Called and mentioned that along with the fact that my nails which usually last me 3 weeks barely lasted me 9 days. They said they could give me 20% off my next visit , which doesn't even cover the amount I had been overcharged. 2 more visits after this review was made, the first my nails I had to go back to have reshaped because they were awful, and they all cracked down the middle and broke off (I take good care of my nails so really no excuse for that.) and the second they all lifted up around the cuticle after a week and a half and had to be removed, was also overcharged during the 3rd service with Vincent at this location as well. Have been loyal to ambiance for 4 years and now go to Nvision in Mason and have AMAZING experiences as far as staff and outcome of my nails. Ambiance, not worth the time and money anymore read more

like the mani but they rush it up and dont clean cuticles . one layer only if gel manicure... spent $45 but not really satisfied

I am reviewing this salon as a cautionary measure. My 18 yo daughter has gotten her nails done here for about a year, typical gel manicure, always looks great, and price is reasonable at around $50. Recently she's added designs & acrylic which has upped the cost, roughly $80. No idea if this is reasonable or not. Too expensive IMO. However, today both of my daughters went to get nails done, and the 15 yo who never gets them done & has no clue what is going on with the gel, S&S, acrylic, etc., sat down showed a picture & off they went. Never explaining what this design was going to entail or COST. $96 (before tip). For a manicure that it appears they did everything possible to. Acrylic tips, S& S, shaping, color, mani.... I'm writing this to give parents a heads up that none of this was discussed with my daughters to let them know BEFORE they started what this will cost. That is unacceptable. I've complained to the salon, will never return on principle, but wanted to give a heads up. Yes, the nails look cute... but not $96 worth of cute. read more
