My feet can get gnarly over time so occasionally I'll get a men's pedicure to clean them up. I can't really compare this place to competitors because I get the service so rarely so I'm going on my intuition and research of local competitors. Overall it was good! Kim was very nice (they are all Vietnamese people) and was able to speak English. She seemed to do a good job however I can't really compare and it lasted 30 minutes. She upsold me the $5 for the honey/something lotion massage which came to $42.50 after tax. She got the job done and was friendly but I didn't see anything outstanding and worth the 5 star rating. read more

I often rotate between this nail spa and ambience. This time around I had the dio powder and gel as last coat. It is already peeling and it is less than a week. I paid too much to have it last just this short. Jenny was my manicurist and she was nice to help me pick a color, but I do not like the shape, too thick and uneven. read more

I get a full 2 weeks out of my gel manicures and 3 weeks out of my SNS manicures. The service is always pleasant and the nail clean up and shaping is always on point! read more

It was my wife and I first time going to V Nails to get a pedi and a mani. We didn't expect too much, since we have use other shops in the area, and they were ok at best. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the services provided. The shop had up to date, operable chairs, and the two nail techs (Ann Lei and Tonya) that serviced us were great!! The same thing that happened to previous reviewer Courtney, happened to me today. Yesterday I stopped by the shop in person and made an appointment for a mani/pedi for today. I said that I could be there at 1:30 pm or later. Kim asked me to come in a little earlier at 1:15 and I said yes. She said that my pedi would be first. I get there nicely on time at 1:10 and sign in the book. There were only two pedi techs working and it appeared that two customers were being worked on and two were waiting to have their pedis started. I waited for 20 minutes and left! Kim saw me, but she did not speak to me. If they were seriously behind schedule for any reason why couldn't someone just tell me and I could either come back later or reschedule. They never take your phone number at this shop, so they have no way to contact you. I used to love this shop, but they have serious scheduling problems and I'm not going back. Too bad! I got a full set and pedicure, it was the worst pedicure I've ever had feels like I didn't have one. I got coffin shaped nails that literally look like Easter eggs!!! 118, and tipped 20 percent because I'm to nice but I wasted my money and can't Afford to go somewhere else, and don't want to wreck ones "skill" absolutely will never go here again. Kim has been doing my nails for over a year now. I used to get pink and white and I loved it, but I switched to getting shellac color for something different for a while. I have uploaded a photo of the most recent Kim has done I absolutely love them! She takes appointments and is always willing to work with my hectic retail management schedule. I called and made an appointment for 2pm. When I got there at 2 I signed in and nobody greeted or talked to me for 20 minutes. Please don't go to HON...she is an extremely Money hungry tech that will only do your nails if you give her a certain gratuity.. It's bad enough your paying 65.00 dollars for a mani and pedi, then they have the nerve to tell you their "TIRED".. So before you go in there make sure you have a hefty Tip or else they will reject service. I am livid and appalled by their behavior and will NEVER go Back there again! read more

I went in to get my shellac redone and one nail fixed since it had begun to split in half. I asked my nail technician, Julia, to fill in closer to the cuticle than she had the last time because she had left a good portion of the cuticle exposed (I had had the same thing done -- shellac without a manicure) and my nails had outgrown the shellac much faster. She immediately took my request, which I had asked very politely and kindly, very personally and proceeded to treat me very passive-aggressively for the rest of the time by cutting me off mid-sentence or just getting up and walking away for minutes on end instead of doing my nails. She then angrily told me after ten minutes of extremely uncomfortable silence that she had left my cuticles exposed last time because I hadn't gotten a manicure and therefore hadn't had my cuticles pushed back. That made sense to me, but I felt very pressured into assuring her I didn't need someone else to do my nails and that I was fine with her explanation and her skills. To her credit she did go a good job on my nails, she fixed my thumb nail very well and the shellac itself looks good. But, I felt so incredibly uncomfortable and upset that my nail technician was so furious with me for the entirety of the appointment that I felt guilted into giving her a bigger tip -- 25% -- so I wouldn't feel uncomfortable coming back to V Nails for more shellac or a mani/pedi. In retrospect, I wish I'd tipped her much less. I felt guilted by her passive-aggressiveness into trying to make amends and peace with myself by tipping bigger. She did do a good job on my nails and the other nail technicians are lovely and wonderful people; but Julia treated me very poorly, and I don't see myself recommending V Nails to anyone in the near future. read more

I was recommended by a coworker to come here. I will not be back. Im not sure if the lady i had was new, nervous or just didnt care. I stopped her several times to fix things. Once when she put the tips on crooked, she rolled her eyes at me, once more cause she sliced me with the nail file and once again to fix the length. I had asked for shorter nails 3 times before i gave up on it. Told her no 20 times for gel/shellac polish which she still tried to put on. I paid and left. Once in my car noticed that the acrylic thickness on each nail is different with noticeable dents and my nails are lop sided. 35$ dollars later i ended up having to go to cosmoprof to purchase the proper nail file & buffer so that i can fix my nails properly. Not worth my time ..never again. Had to give 1 star rating to post read more
