Every time I have visited the store, I am greeted when I walk in and told thank you as I leave! They do everything they can to ensure a precise and speedy transaction! My mom, who was visiting from out of state, shipped a package to herself through your store. The item was packaged by your team and sent as an overnight delivery (costing close to $400 for overnight) Unfortunately, the package did not arrive on the expected date. While we understood there could be delays due to Sunday, it arrived even later than anticipatedand ultimately arrived damaged. A store employee had mentioned they would follow up regarding the SGR, but we did not receive a call the next day as promised. My mom attempted to call the store multiple times without success, but no one answered. Since she is not local, I went into the store on her behalf to help get an update. For context, I am currently 37 weeks pregnant, so making the trip was already physically taxing. When I arrived, I explained the situation to a younger employee and put my mom on speaker so she could provide details directly. At that point, an older employee came to the front and immediately assumed my mom was yelling on the phone, which was not the case. Instead of calmly assessing the situation, he became visibly frustrated and began raising his voice toward the phone. I repeatedly asked him to stop yelling, as it was escalating the situation and causing unnecessary stress, especially given my condition. Unfortunately, he continued, showing little awareness of how inappropriate the behavior was. In addition to the tone of the interaction, several of his comments were confusing and came across as dismissive and guilt-inducing. For example, when we brought up that the package had arrived damaged and that we had not received a follow-up call as promised, he responded by saying that if the package had been processed the day before, "we wouldn't have known about the damage." This did not make sense in context, especially since we were told we would be contacted before any next steps were taken. Rather than addressing the lack of communication or helping resolve the issue, the responses felt defensive and unhelpful. The interaction became increasingly uncomfortable. Eventually, he disengaged by walking away and keeping his distance, without resolving the situation or addressing my concerns directly. I asked if everything needed on our end had been completed, was told yes, and then I left. What should have been a simple conversation turned into a stressful and avoidable experience. I'm disappointed in how the situation was handled, particularly the lack of communication, professionalism, and awareness in handling both a damaged shipment and a customer concern. Weeks later they did not do the SGR like they said and she received no apology, no response from the store, no refund. Could have been charged the original shipping but didn't refund the over night for not coming on time. This was a disappointing experience and I now see it based on previous reviews. I should have known better to look first.

It doesn't prove or fix or accommodate anything! FURTHER PROVING MY POINT! I asked you to come on site to make sure everything ran smoothly, and you refused, I told you I had a problem with your crew the first time but I did not want to have another moving company come in and touch what you guys had already packed. That's the only reason I rehired you!!! I sent you several pictures of broken lamps and you never responded. I called you numerous times to tell you that one of your men disappeared for a whole hour. I literally beg you to communicate with your crew on how long it was taking and at the end everybody became rude and it was one woman which is myself against four strangers and they were all men!!! Let's face facts on this internet, you're not about customer satisfaction you're about clearing your name. Maybe if you gave me a partial refund that may help. I felt completely taken advantage of. That second load was completely unnecessary because they were small items that could have fat on the truck the first time just like it did with the first move. But I was charged extra and it felt like it was out of malice. At the very end of the night everybody just stopped working got my money and left trash in my yard. You stopped responding. Let's be clear!!!!!

I really don't know why it's so hard to find a trustworthy moving company these days but I am…read morereally considering just moving things the old fashioned way in the future. Houston ProMovers started out strong. I was really impressed with Pete and Daniel. They both seemed very professional and honest. And for the most part, they were. My issue was with the lead mover guy that showed up to my house the day of the move. We requested packing and moving our stuff to a storage unit. They provided the boxes, tape, tools, etc. The packing and moving took about 7 hours total. We were charged just under $200 an hour (about $189 to be precise). There were a few things underhanded about how the lead mover guy handled the move: - He kept saying, "there is a 9 hour minimum" though his English wasn't good so maybe that was misinterpreted. This was the first we heard of any minimums. - He kept telling us that we would pay the moving company a portion but then him directly a portion. - He was trying to lure business away from the company by offering to have us go through him directly for our next move. I'm all for saving money but not from someone that operates like this. The move took a little under 7 hours to complete. He asked us to pay the moving company the 7 hours plus costs for boxes but then asked us to pay another 2 hours to him directly because of a "9 hour minimum". I hesitated and questioned why and he claimed that they are not compensated for all of their work or something like that. Again, his English was not good so I wasn't completely sure. As I started to push back more, he said, "If you didn't like our work, then just pay me 1 hour instead of 2." Was this his way of demanding a hefty tip? Not sure. Regardless, we went ahead and gave him 2 hours of pay. Not to mention when he saw my wife alone, he then ASKED for a separate tip AFTER his under the table 2 hours was already paid to him. We planned to tip already and we understand the importance of doing so. I HATE surprises when your expectations have already been set. And I am constantly having bad luck with moving companies. Even when their reviews are good online. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the work was solid and they worked hard. But I definitely wouldn't hire them again, unfortunately. Btw, I notice that nowadays companies try to reply to your reviews to get the last word but just look at my history of reviews. I'm an Elite Yelp member. I don't have to lie about the experience I have with a business. This is an honest review.

They were supposed to show up at 9, but didn't show up until 10:30am. They started moving things and immediately I noticed how careless they were and they didn't care about protecting anything or handling anything with care. They completed the move in 2 hours, but not without damaging several items. Once they were done their lead guy Alexis came and told me I owed $125. Which was odd because the apartment was paying $375 for the move. According to the form I was provided, it was $125 per hour, $75 trip fee and $50 compliance fee. For two hours of work, that's $250, plus $75, equals $325, plus $50, equals $375. So I asked how I owed $375? Alexis said the apartment is only paying $375, you owe the balance of $125 and he showed me his phone again. So I told him I need to talk to someone because the math does not add up. He called his supervisor Victor and put him on speaker, after going through the basic math with Victor, he seemed confused, said he was going to check what time I signed the movers in, which was 10:27am and then asked the current time 12:30pm. Then he says oh yeah, I guess you're right and we need to update things on our end. You don't owe anything. Thank you and have a good day. At this point, lead guy in front of me is pissed and storms out. He and his movers left their trash everywhere. At the old apt, at the new apt. I had given them bottles of water which they the the empty ones in the grass. Real unprofessional behavior and all because I refused to pay $125 I didn't owe them. Ridiculous. Also, this overcharging seems like a scam because I got an email from someone else at the company telling me that $125x2 =250 plus $75 and $50 = 500. Not today! Nice try though. Will never use again, even if it's free. I don't recommend.
