If I could give negative stars or zero stars I would. My daughter and I went in for mani-pedi. We went to try on shoes after and that's when we noticed our gel toenail polish curling and chipping off! We returned for a re-do right then and they treated us like intruders! They should have apologized for doing such a poor job!!! Instead they were worried their customers would hear what we were saying. Then they tried to repaint us at the front of the salon! Once they realized we each had about three toes on each foot with chipped polish, they put us back in the proper pedicure chairs. Even then we were rushed and groaned at while they fixed the problem. Today (7 days later) my manicure looks terrible too! We were told it should last a month! This place is HORRIBLE!!!! Run away!!! I needed a new nail salon because my favorite tech moved out of town. I looked at reviews and took a chance on Amazing Nails. Sooooooo glad I did! The salon is clean and bright. The product selection is excellent. The chairs are in great shape. But, best of all, my mani pedi was done to perfection. Both owners were so much fun! My manicure lasted for over 2 weeks on a vacay and not one chip. There were a couple other ladies who had custom design manicures in there while I was, and I can't wait to get one. I tried this place with a Groupon and have been back for my nails every time since. I don't know the name of the lady with red hair who does pedicures, but she is incredible!! I don't know the name of the lady who has done my gel manicures but she is incredible as well! They last for 3 weeks, and they would last longer but my nails get too long. Their prices are comparable to other salons in the area, but I think their quality is better. It's also good to see the owners working along side the two employees, real skin in the game. Next up, I am sending my husband there to have his eyebrows done. Whenever I have been there, there are lots of regulars, a good sign in my book. One difference to note: although they have a sign outside that says "walk ins welcome" it's definitely better to call for an appointment. I bought a Groupon for this place to try it as they are new owners but seemed a little pricey but I wanted to give them a shot. At the bottom you will see the fine print on the voucher, which looks pretty standard to me. After purchasing my Groupon I called at lunch and spoke to a man on the phone and asked if I could make an appointment for Saturday and all he said was do you have a coupon? I answered yes, I had a Groupon and he firmly stated with Groupons you can only come in Mon-Thurs. I told him I work Mon-Fri so could not come in during the day so what about evening how late are you open. He answered firmly 7pm I asked if I could come in at 6pm because I couldn't get there any sooner. He quite rudely stated NO,are last appointment for the day is 5:30 I told him I had just purchased the Groupon and really wanted to try them out so could he make some kind of exception. He stated again quite rudely NO ( Just NO) I didn't know what else to do since I could not go unless I took some time off work so I called Groupon and cancelled my purchase which took all of my lunch break of 1 hour. However, my nails are bumpy, uneven, and just all around no good. However my MILs nails are done to a more acceptable standard. I booked an appt because I needed to get my nails/toes done in an area that I'm unfamiliar with and this place had good reviews on here so I went with it. My nails were pretty good except a couple of my fingers are not the same length, but the pedicure was the absolute worst. My toes were still wet and I said something, but the individual said it was fine... almost trying to rush me out of there. As I inspected, I still had skin peeling off of my toes. Tony tried to tell me that I had already used that coupon. I told him, if that were the case, he would have kept it and I would no longer have it. The third time, Tony did my pedicure and was about to do my manicure. I said, do you want my credit card before you start my manicure? He said yes and took my American Express card. I went in today for the amazing pedicure and let me tell you... it was an amazing pedicure. As mentioned before by someone else, I have small feet as well and not a lot of people give good massages. I'm unsure if they are scared or what. I forgot the name of the person who did it but he was amazing. The massage was perfect. There's many gel colors to choose from. The place is very relaxing, not clustered or loud and obnoxious. I will definitely be back and have recommended my family to this place! So glad I found them! read more
