I was initially very happy with this location. The service was excellent, and both of my Master Stylists were highly skilled and professional. Unfortunately, both of them left, and the quality of my experience declined significantly after that. The stylist I was reassigned to was not Master-level, and there appeared to be an unusually high turnover rate overall. Due to the inconsistency and decline in service, I made the decision to cancel my membership. Despite canceling, my membership was not properly terminated, and I was charged again. When I contacted the PV location regarding the billing error, they refused to refund the charge. This was extremely disappointing. Had the situation been handled professionally with a refund, I would have considered returning in the future or referring others. Instead, the lack of accountability and poor customer service -- particularly at the PV location -- has ensured that I will not return and will give a negative review everywhere I can. I was told I would NOT be getting a refund and could talk to nobody else about my experience at PV or Desert Ridge. read more

I asked for a classic set, after about two hours when I looked in the mirror it looked like I had about four lashes placed on top of mine called classic. I was confused because I always get classics and I ask for fullness not necessarily length. I asked for more fullness because it looked like I legit had only 4 lashes in the middle. Who vile style, sorry. She said that she can fill them in without telling me that I was going to be charged more, if I knew that I was going to be charged almost $$70 I would've just simply asked for a removal. I asked for more full lashes, literally just anything that makes it look like I actually got lash extensions and ended up with lashes that I absolutely hate for 170. I did not complain about the price because I just wanted to leave after almost 4 hours of have never experienced such awkward service without communication about pricing. This was my first time here and definitely my last, the front desk girl seemed annoyed that I asked to fix my lashes. She specifically told me that they don't give refunds, but they would be more than happy to fix lashes if I wasn't happy with the service. I was not happy with the service and instead got charged more without any communication on their part. Overall left looking the same as I entered due to the lack of lashes to make my lashes look fuller. The only thing I said was I want Fuller lashes and instead she gave me four really long lashes directly in the middle and nothing else. I read previous reviews on not getting the membership and yep I'm kicking myself in the ass for getting it. For one their lash techs suck. Doesn't matter the city and it doesn't matter the state. I've been to them all over the country. In an hour and a half appt they can accomplish what a private person can do in 45. And I wish I was exaggerating. I've had the membership for over six months and literally one time have I ever got a set of lashes that I was actually happy with how full they were. Even after adding on additional lash services, trying to achieve a volumized to look. Paying over $200 per session even with the membership $125 membership fee. So I call in September to cancel the membership. Whoever I spoke to clearly didn't know procedure. And my account never got canceled. And I didn't know I until I got an update that my credit card was trying to be charged but there wasn't enough funds. I've been going back and forth all day with them. Apparently no matter when you cancel you are required to pay a $125 cancellation fee. Scam. So I "cancelled" 2 months ago. They are telling me because it didn't get put in properly, but I'm required to pay for the last two months and a $125 cancellation fee. And literally every single email I send they just respond and say we can't cancel till we get that payment. I talk to girls in the office and they hang up in my face and don't answer when I call back. And I have two phones so I immediately call on the other one and what do you know they answer. I am a big fan of Robyn at this location. I started getting my lashes done a little bit over a year ago, building up and exploring my options prior to my October wedding. The first time I had them done, I was back within 48 hours- they had fallen out in clumps- that stylist is no longer there. Ari fixed them right up- it was complimentary. I started to see Ari and Sam (depending on who was available) and both were very professional and did a great job, but right before my wedding, neither were available and Robyn was recommended to me and I've been with her since. Robyn's technique I think is a little bit different- she does refills in 30 minutes (the others would take a full hour) and my lashes LAST. I was going to stop getting my lashes done after my wedding but I really love the classic lash look, they're easy to maintain (I was really worried because I'm tough on my lashes when I'm scrubbing my makeup off at night), and because Robyn gets them done in half the time it's easy to pop over. A few tips- book WELL in advance for the good lash stylists...they're crazy booked up. I just recently learned to start booking 2 months out at a time (this is excessive but I need later evenings and I know schedules change for the stylists!). Always wash your face before your appointment. As soon as you arrive you'll be sent to the bathroom (Clean face or not) to wash your lashes- honestly it's a little hard to do with just the paper towel back there and it makes it a little easier if you've pre-washed. Bring your headphones and put on a good podcast- every stylist I've worked with lets me relax and just literally shut my eyes, so it's nice to have something to listen to. read more

The crew and stylist are always on point and ready to greet me whenever I arrive. The facility is always clean, organized, and welcoming. The staff are always smiling and are so helpful. I was just looking for a closer place to get my lashes done since I've been going to a place all in Goodyear for my volume set but now I feel like it's worth the drive! I came to ALS this weekend for the first time; I've been getting my lashes done elsewhere for many years but this place is SO close to my house it seemed worth it to try! Glad I did! My appt was w Sam, who is a master lash tech, and I definitely wanted the experience. I had some damage to one of my eyes (lash-wise) so I had some gaps that I knew were going to be tough to fill. Sam did a great job matching my existing hybrid lashes to a fresh fill of classic, and despite some of my lash damage, was still able to make them look great! I did sign up for the membership offer of two fills per month for $119, which is really great pricing comparatively. That's $60 per fill, which I felt was really reasonable. The salon is cute and clean, and they offer a wide selection of products and other services as well. I didn't get pics this time, but I'll add some after I go back next time for my second fill. I just left my appt that was scheduled for 650 pm for a full set. I have been coming here for 8 months now. When I made the appt,, I tried to get my regular girl, and sure enough... she's already gone. This is the third time my "regular" had left. So I schedule the appt anyway and when I arrive, the receptionist tells me that there is not enough time to put on a full set. I dropped everything to race over to this appt, and I'm leaving town tomorrow. I ask the tech to reschedule me tomorrow, no appts.. front desk was very rude and unapologetic. I asked for a refund of my last two months and she said that she couldn't do it. I will be contacting corporate and spreading the word if I don't get some kind of compensation for wasting my valuable time. read more

As much as I absolutely love when I have my lashes done, I do have to put out a warning about what happens if your natural lashes if you don't consistently fill your lash extensions. I had been getting my lashes done here for about 3 months. I was told that the extensions wouldn't affect my natural lashes. Last month I suffered a pretty substantial financial hardship and I couldn't afford to get my fill done and had to let the extensions fall out. I'm absolutely mortified because all my natural lashes fell out as well. I feel so ugly and I'm so upset that my natural lashes are gone. Before I started getting the extensions I had pretty long beautiful natural lashes and I didn't even need the extensions but it seemed to be really popular and they did look really pretty so I did it since I was told that it wouldn't hurt my natural lashes. I really regret getting the extensions. I'm so embarrassed when I go into work everyday and no amount of mascara can fix the damage the the lash extensions have done to me. Don't ruin your natural lashes to be temporarily glammed up, it's not worth it. read more

Kimiko is the best! I leave with my lashes looking so full & pretty, and they stay on for 3-4 weeks! She removes any lashes that get all funky as my natural lashes grow out, she's friendly, very professional...so great! I signed up with & used to go to the MMR location, but always had problems with consistency. Although MMR is the area where i live, i was going to be around Tatum & Shea so tried this location instead for the 1st time around the end of 2015. Jennifer did my lash fill & it looked full & great & lasted for 3-4 weeks! *so happy!* The next time I went back to Tatum & Shea, their customer service was really lacking. I waited for 45 minutes after "checking in", watched as 3 stylists went out to get food & came back, then had to ask the receptionist (who wasn't the same gal who checked me in...don't know where that 1st gal went) how much longer I was going to have to wait. Oh...she thought I was waiting for someone. Uh, yes....the stylist to fill my lashes! During the entire 45 minutes of my being the only person sitting in their waiting room, not once did anyone acknowledge I even existed. Fortunately (for them) they said Kimiko would be able to take me. She was great!! Fill looked great and lasted a few weeks. I wasn't as irked when I left...how could I stay mad when my eyes looked so good?!? I did go back to MMR location, dealt with not being very happy with their fills and finally realized that regardless of the poor front service, Tatum & Shea provided a much better lash fill. I have been seeing Kimiko again and have been SO happy. AND the front, customer service is much improved! *yah!* a win all the way around. The front desk staff is friendly and my lash technician - Kimiko, the lead technician - not only does an amazing job but also takes time the explain what to expect, why some types of lash extensions are better than others etc. Their goal is for you to have beautiful lashes while ensuring that your natural lashes are not damaged. Updated: Hello again! Okay so the reason for my updated review is mostly due to some confusion, and one so-so experience. So for membership dues- you pay 59.99 a month, and that includes a lash refill, and membership prices. So feasibly every month you could get a "free" lash touch-up. However, if you dont go in that month, your credit rolls over to the next month. Which is nice but of course your lashes will need to be touched-up in a months time, if you have any left. I was too busy to make it in, so I needed a full set done. I learned my last months "credits" could go towards the price of the new set, and I could pay the difference of 40 or so dollars (membership prices for full lash set being 90). Luckily my appt ended up being on the day my membership fees were due. So I had $120 worth of credits (since I didn't go in the month before and now this month had been paid). This time getting a full set done, my stylist had quite the sniffly nose, would pause to wipe it, put hand sanitizer on and continue. She also paused to check her phone a couple of times throughout the service. I know life happens so if she needed to be on her phone I'd totally get it if she told me she'd be needing to check on it. Some of the lash removal process hurt as well (those old stubborn ones). I think I visibly flinched a few times. I'm not sure if that's normal as I've just let those stragglers fall off naturally in the past before a new full set was done. Anyway. So we finish up and I go to pay and I'm told the cost is covered unless I'd like to add gratuity. I said we could use the remaining credits I'd have after the 90 towards that. I was told that's not possible, so I'm not really sure where that $30 goes too, if a member set is $90, and I had paid $120? So I just left confused. AVOID THE TATUM AND SHEA LOCATION. Everyone from Bella at the front desk, to Ari the "lash tech" will LIE right to your face. I was told they didn't have primer for the lashes and therefore asked the "lash tech" she said I was being rude by asking about the primer and said she refused service to me. So we go to the front desk for some more LIES... I was denied the manager's contact information as it was her day off and "they weren't going to bother her" ps that's your job as the manager. Then, The manager called me the next day and knew nothing of the exchange Ari and me about the primer and rudely stated "we do have primer" more lies! the worst part is even the MANAGER YEVETTE no last name, or initial given, is a liar too and has no problem not following procedures. Can't imagine they're actually cleaning things the right way if they do so much lying upfront. I am taking this to corporate. These discrepancies and poor attitudes are unacceptable when you are in the cosmetic industry. Not to mention blatantly lying to your customer. No kindness or compassion is found at this location. Do not waste your time or money at this location. Trust me. Just don't. Go some where else. Save your lashes. First of all, the front desk lady, Jennifer is a total rude and unprofessional you know what! Here's the story: I would get volume lashes done by Chloe. The first time was great. The 2nd time, when I went for my first fill, she couldn't complete my fill within the appointment time. So she had me come back the next day for a "one time correction" so she could finish her job. Then my 3rd time in, for my 2nd fill, same deal. Chloe couldn't finish my volume fill within the appointment time! So I asked if we were going to do another correction. She said that's a one time thing, because it's free. I was like uhhh okay then we'll you're not finished with my lashes.... Not even close! They look awful! So then then at the front desk with Jennifer, she offers me to come back in for a "mini fill" which is $46 for volumes. And Jennifer is arguing with me at this point because I'm upset my lashes aren't finished and you want to charge me more money for your stylist to complete her work. I tell her I'm just going to call and cancel my membership then. She says okay. Okay? What the? When I already paid $85 plus tip for these unfinished volumes! Why the in world would I pay an additional $46 to have my stylist finish her job?!?!? If Chloe can't finish her damn job within the appointment time... then why is she even working here. I just don't understand! And why in the world would you charge the customer for the stylist to complete her work? This is not how a business should be ran. So I called to cancel my membership a week later. And I will never be back here. Now let me tell you how the cancellation went. Not good. There's a special place in hell for Jennifer. So I called and spoke to an associate to cancel my account and any future appointments because I'm not happy with the services and Chloe can never finish her job within the appointment time. They send me paper work to fill out and send back, which I do the same day. Then a few days later I get a text reminder that I have my upcoming appointment. Then I get another text reminder that my membership charge is coming up. So I call and I'm like hey, what's going on here? The associate who answered said my account and my appointment haven't been canceled yet. I asked why because it's been 3 days and she said her manager (Jennifer) needs to cancel the membership. And I'm like okay was she not here the last 3 days to do so? Again, I'm just not understanding the lack of professionalism and doing your damn job. I ask her to have someone email me a confirmation once it's canceled. Instead, Jennifer calls me and leaves me the rudest voicemail ever! I couldn't believe it. The tone in her voice was unbelievable and every word she said ended with a question mark, if you know what I mean. Overall, big fat NO, NOPE, NOPE, NOPE. I've been coming to this studio for a while. Tay used to be my girl but my new work schedule means I can't see her, which is devastating. She is so good, kind and skilled. I've been seeing Robin recently who is like lightning! She is so good at what she does, my lashes last and look amazing every time. The girls up front at the desk are so sweet. Been getting lashes for over a year and wanted to find a place closer then Old Town so I thought I'd give them a try. I wanted volume lashes and was given an appointment with someone who couldn't do it. So I have single lashes that AREN'T EVEN STRAIGHT! They won't let me get refills with volume niether. I have to pay to remove these, get a whole new set plus an add on fee to get what I wanted in the first place. Not very good customer service I'll be cancelling my membership. Made an appointment here and the girl on the phone was very helpful in answering my questions. Once I arrived, the three staff people I saw did not have eyelash extensions, which I thought was interesting. My appointment started off fine and they taped my eyes shut as per usual for getting extensions on. However, the technician kept coming in and out of my room for a few minutes at a time, and one time she never came back. A different girl came in and seemed nervous, I asked what was going on and she said the glue wasn't working but they only had one kind of glue. I sense that the first girl was sick or something too. 3 1/2 hours later I was so done, my back hurt from laying flat and still on the table. The girl at the desk originally told me to expect 2hrs. The last technician kept saying "they'd take care of me in the front" but when I went to pay, they wanted to charge me full price and I had to explain why this was an unpleasant experience. Eventually the manager came out and did give me 50% off which is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1. Honestly, I wouldn't go back. My eyelashes are uneven (there are more on my right side) but I got them for a trip to Hawaii so I didn't have time to back and spend more hours there. They also try and push you to being a member which is a yearlong commitment with monthly payment which does not even include full services. read more
