Loved seeing Carmen and Maria every month for my routine services, it felt like a 2nd home. Then one day, out of the blue, they said I could no longer continue my services that I had been having with them. They both looked at me as if I had been doing something wrong. I signed up for these particular services with Carmen back when I started. It was all very hurtful and confusing. I had built relationships with them (or so I thought!) after all this time. Perhaps they had a financial issue or changes in business and they needed to change my monthly routine... but aside from why, they should have handled things differently. Showed accountability, honesty, kindness, and integrity. Carmen acted like she had no idea about what she offered me when I began membership (even though she and Maria performed these services with me every month for 2 years), and then she proceeded to end my membership. I didnt request this. I felt like I was at a job and had been wrongfully terminated. It felt like I knew someone well, to find out I didn't at all. I'll never know what actually happened and why, but am sharing this because I care, and it let me down very much!

I get my legs and Brazilian done monthly with her and I'm very happy with the results. She does go on vacation/trips back home frequently (at least over the past several months I've been going to her), but it never interrupts my waxing schedule. She will let you know about her plans well in advanced and if you time it correctly you won't even notice that she is gone. I've had problems making appointments in other salon because of that, but in the case of Jolanta it has never been an inconvenience for me and she does a great job ensuring that her clients aren't left too fuzzy while she's away. Coming from Groupon and not knowing anything past the Groupon and her website, I was expecting a full salon (that is a compliment to how well her website is done). She does her best to work with you and I'm luckily enough to have a pretty flexible work schedule so I've text her the day before telling her I need an emergency (waxing emergency, lol) appointment and can fit into her day whenever in the next 24 hours. She has never told me no or not been able to accommodate, but coming from a big name salon with locations all over the US, that has been an adjustment. 5 stars considering she is a one person operation, but 4.5 stars when you compare her to salons that have multiple waxers and more appointments available.
