Okay, to start I got my lashes done just about 3 weeks ago and they are still looking sooo good…read more I wanted to wait to do this review just to get the full experience since this is my first time getting lash extensions. I was super skeptical about the whole situation but was eager to try. I've been following Courtney's IG page for some time now, keep in mind I follow a lot of beauty pages that have these types of services. However, her work stuck out to my the most. I honestly believe she has a real talent. Right away, Courtney was super helpful getting me in for a last minute appointment when one became available. Her studio is super cute, clean, and easy to locate. With a short consult to begin, I was confident she knew what I was looking for and to say the least, she took my ideas and brought them to life. Finally, I was very impressed with her referral program and her aftercare products that she has available for her clients!

So, I started seeing Venecia for eyebrow waxes years ago when she was with Dolce Salon, and I…read morefollowed her from Scottsdale to Chandler. The experience was worth the drive. I was really excited for her when she opened her own place in Desert Ridge (the Beauty District) so much closer to where I live. I've never been disappointed, and although my last appointment and review were only a few weeks ago, I have an update...just when I thought it couldn't get better. I tried a new service called the VB Signature Facial (sigh) last weekend. The products smell and feel incredible, and I felt very pampered. AND although I had just seen her the weekend before, her skin looked amazing! (honestly, I kept trying to catch a glimpse of a pimple or something, but it just wasn't happening). She told me about the products she had been using and her new multi-step routine, and I want to try this myself. My favorite part among many really nice steps may have been the cellulose sheet mask. I thought it was pretty cool, and I felt so hydrated. Take THAT, Desert! It's funny, but when I see Venecia, I always start chatting/catching up/what's new? and by the middle of whatever service it is (yes, even while having my eyebrows waxed and tweezed), I'm in that twilight place that isn't quite sleep and isn't quite consciousness. It never fails. Her salon space is one among many albeit at the end of the hall, and you can hear outside sounds, but it honestly didn't matter. I still chilled out. Zzzzzzzzz. And if you're wondering if I ever write scathing reviews or if I'm just a flatterer, um...yeah, you should check out some of my less-than-stellar-experience reviews. I DON'T like to do that. I prefer NOT to do that, but I will call it as I experience it. Venecia is a treat I like to think we owe ourselves for all the less-than-relaxing experiences we endure daily. Thanks, Venecia.

Having never had much done to my brows (they are always waxed beyond recognition by anyone even…read morethough I tell them to keep them thicker) I decided they needed a little freshening up. They were hanging, light in spots and just needed polishing. I am sooo glad I stumbled across Venecia. Not only is she a sweet doll of a lady she is so talented. I can't wait to go back for this again and probably more. I am in love with the lamination procedure. The difference is amazing.

Before I found Fabulash, I had gone to 5 other artists across the valley that I wasn't very satisfied with due to retention and I wanted volume lashes so I was thankful to find Chelsey! She uses the same products Borboleta that my lash artist uses in Utah and I absolutely love their products!! Chelsey takes her time and makes sure that you love your lashes before you leave the studio. It's a very comfortable and relaxing environment. What I love most is that her schedule is pretty flexible. Being that I am on a 9:30-6pm M-F schedule, Fabulash is open on the weekends so I don't have to rush there after work to get lashed! Going to other places previously, they didn't have the flexibility that she offers. I would definitely recommend Chelsey for beautiful volume lashes! She is always staying up to date with the latest techniques and uses the best products out there! My lashes have a great retention of up to 3-4 weeks. Her prices are also very affordable! If you want someone who truly cares about her clients, go to Chelsey!!

Went in for a brow lamination/ tint AND lash lift/tint…read more They looked great and full when I left.. then, 2 days later, after I washed them, the "lamination" completely disappeared. As if it never happened. Lashes are okay, not great but I can live with them. As for the brows... horrible. I then went in for a micro needling service hours later, it went good & pain was 4/10. Wasn't that red after too. I felt great afterwards. They don't let you choose the serum or ask about your skin concerns. Randomly use whatever they use for everyone. Felt like it was surface level though. Like I could've done the same at home for $230 but do it 40 different times (cause I'd have so much product) I feel like it was sort of a waste of money. Cheap though, you get what you pay for I guess. But as far as the lamination ... horrible. Kind of disappointed.

This newest location was music to my ears, I was ecstatic to see there was a Scottsdale location. And as is customary in any of her salons, it was trendy, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. I stumbled upon Beauty Blink and was able to easily book an appointment online. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by the sweetest gal, Marsa, and she had me start filling in some paperwork. Typical intake questions like recent surgeries and ailments and some questions about my hair and scalp and then we headed back to the room. Once I got situated Marsa started with the high frequency wand and some other tools with my hair dry before turning on the nice, warm water and wetting my hair. From there, she used several products and tools, alternating between scalp massage and gentle combing. She also added a steam cap and let my hair steam for a while and there was some wonderful aromatherapy going as well. We ended the service by wrapping my hair in a towel before letting me brush it out in a separate little room. I had the option to blow dry my hair if I wanted but I chose to leave with wet hair so it could air dry. Overall, this was a very very relaxing way to spend the evening, the process was amazing, and Marsa was so sweet and asked for feedback at the end of the service as well. You can tell this place cares about their customers and the quality of the service they provide and I will absolutely be back!
