The owner of this establishment is an absolute thief. As of December 1 of 2023 I signed up for an upgraded membership for $159 a month which included two refills per month with volumes. For the last month I kept noticing there was a problem with my account when I checked out. Each time the new staff and new manager could not explain why I was upside down in what I owed. I went to another location to educate myself on my own membership. Within minutes that person called this location and told them they had set up my membership incorrectly and did not set my membership up to apply the credits. At that point I thought everything would be squared away even though I was frustrated that I had to take the initiative to train another locations employees. I communicated this information to the manager I have been dealing with. This evening I learned from her that the owner told her it didn't matter, and because my membership was making her lose money and she was not going to honor it. They owe me money and have no intention of refunding it. I will be disputing every penny of this with my credit card company. I also let this manager know that I have a videotaped conversation of the other location educating her incompetent employee on what they were doing wrong to begin with which I will also use with my credit card company. The tech and receptionist both said it was normal due to the fumes of the glue but as I had to look for after care on the website it claims no fumes. I'm waiting for a manager to call back. Update: I called again and the manager offered to have them removed and have a new set applied with glue for sensitive eyes. After 2 days my eyes continue to be red and a small red dot grew into a larger red splotch under my eye. I will need to see an eye doctor to determine if my eye was scratched, if I had a reaction to the glue or if it's a Subconjunctival Hemorrhage. My set was really patchy. The lashes were not evenly distributed across my eye. When I got up to look in the mirror and tried to tell the nail tech about it the manager stepped into the room and started saying there was no time because the next customer was there already. Mind you i made it to my appointment prior to my appointment time. It has now been one week since i got the set. Oh my gosh! They are the world's worst! I should have known I was going to have a bad experience when I walked in the door. I had a flyer (w/ no expiration date) and Serena said they don't do that anymore. Well, you don't have a date of expiration on you are gonna have to honor it! Thankfully, Jasmine put the points on my account. Then Serna went to the back to take a phone call and was yelling so loud. I could hear her up front. The over all look is just not professional: leggings, bandannas, and tennis shoes. One girl had her shoes off. When I was about to leave, Serena came back to the front and I was not in the mood at that point. She was huffing and puffing like she didn't want to be there. I didn't feel my options were very well explained nor was the process which I would have appreciated. At the end my lashes looked nice but were probably too long for me (I realized later). I also had a spot bothering me which I asked about. I've been coming to the Vintage Park-Amazing Lash Studio going on 8 years. Since then there has been a lot of changes with the management team and front desk thus the negative reviews from past posts. I can honestly say the customer service has vastly improved from previous years. I'm always immediately greeted when I walk in and they call me by my name and that they've checked me in. They always ask me how my service is at every check-out. That's "AMAZING" service at its best! Eyelash Extensions: I would have to say that I've never had a bad experience with my eyelash extensions! This location, by far has the best lash techs within the Amazing Lash franchise as they are one of original location in the Houston area. I live 25 mins away from Vintage while I literally have 3 Amazing Lash studio much closer to my home in Cypress. The techs are experienced and extremely detailed. They are consistent but with every tech they have their own style and I've had my lashes done all these years with all different techs and I believe they deserve so much appreciation. Eyelash extensions are wonderful if you want to invest lots of money into something you will never achieve permanently. I started getting my lashes done 2 years ago and let me tell you alot have changed! 1. Lashes use to last 4 weeks now they only last 2 weeks with recommendations to get a mini refill in between your 3 week appointments. 2. The membership is $45.00 every month vs $60.00. When I first started I paid $40 for refills. 3. I never mind paying a $10-20.00 tip depending on my stylist but with the extra cost of mini refills I leave a $5.00 tip. 4. This is my go to place! I love my stylist, she never disappoints me! I'm in love with my eyelashes

First of all... I definitely miss Taylor. I thought she was an amazing asset to the very first few seconds of sunshine when you walk through the door. I actually have a membership with a different Amazing Lash but I have been coming over here because I enjoyed Taylor and Alexia's hospitality. There's a couple other young ladies that are at the front who are also amazing. I do sort of have an issue with one of the young ladies at the front. Like I said... I am a member at another location and sometimes I like to get a lash bath. I'm a spray tanner, so I'm not trying to wash my whole face and splash water all over it when I come from the tanning salon. It has never ever been a problem at the other location and honestly wasn't a problem at this location until now. Melania at the front was acting like an upsell, a.k.a. the salon making more money for doing more services, was a problem. I've never had that happen before. I have been a cosmetologist/Barber/hairstylist for 14 years and I know in that business an upsell is always a yes. I was a little annoyed. Not cute. I know my stylist would have been able to handle two minute tops upsell but I was told no by Melania at the front desk saying that it would take 10 minutes and it would put my lash stylist "behind." I have been a member of Amazing Lash for over six years so I wasn't quite sure where she got the 10 minutes from. But other than that... I remain faithful to my lash stylists Chloey and Bri. They are awesome! Professional, great lashes. Time efficient. All of that. I miss Taylor. Not sure why she's not there anymore but best of luck to you Taylor if you read this. Let me tell y'all something. If I could give this Amazing Lash location 10 stars, I would! I can't even begin to express the excellent service I got this morning. I received a voucher for a free full set about a year ago. It had no expiration date, but I had a feeling I might not be able to use it. I was pleasantly surprised when the manager, Elaina, said she would honor it. I thought that was incredibly good customer service. When I arrived, the reception staff were professional and friendly. Check in was a breeze. I was paired with Sarah who did the cute style on my small set eyes. I've had my eyelashes done several times in the past and I've genuinely NEVER had such a comfortable experience. Sarah was so gentle and took the extra time to make sure my legs were propped up for maximum comfort and put a blanket on me that I fell asleep twice! When I woke up, she was just putting the finishing touches on my lashes. Once we were done, Elaina graciously took some photos of my lashes for me so I could show all my friends. Love my lashes! Just got done with my refill (made it 4 weeks) and they did a great job. I got a reminder text 2 days before and also on the day of my appointment. I did walk in and everyone was on the phone but they smiled and I whispered that I needed to remove my make up and the lady handed me wipes even tho she was on the phone with a customer. I'm pleased. Be "very cautious" before signing any contract membership with this location or any Amazing Lash Studio. I've been a member for several years and recently this location and 5 others were shut down by the corporate office. I was instructed by an email from the corporate office to change my membership to another location in the Spring area. I made the change and went to another location in December, 2018. During this time, I kept getting text messages from this studio stating that all the stylists would be there to service customers and they needed a few days to sort things out. They stated "Corporate shut us down over a contract disagreement with the owner". On 12/23/18, I received another text message stating "the studio is back open and hope you will visit us again". On 1/3/19, received another text message stating that the studio had resumed normal operating hours as of 12/21/18 and my membership had been transferred back to Vintage Park and they were in need of my credit card information. I responded and stated that on 12/26/18, I had sent an email to houstontransfer@amazinglashstudio.com requesting that my membership remain at the location that I had transferred it to when this location had been closed. I also with to amazinglashstudio.com and filled out the form on the "Membership Transfer Link". On 1/4/19, I was informed by Mai that a member can NOT transfer their membership to another location and she had taken it upon herself to cancel my membership (which was NOT requested). I was also very rudely informed that I would have to contact another location, sign up and pay the higher cost of $59.99 per month. On 1/5/19, I sent an email to info@amazinglashstudio.com with regards to filing a formal complaint against this studio and was informed that each studio was independently owned and I would have to contact this location". I replied that I had already been in contact with the location and received NO response from corporate. Obviously, the personnel in the corporate office are of a low caliber as those of the Vintage Park location are. Today, I spoke with the location that I had transferred my membership to per corporate communication and was informed that the corporate office would NOT honor my membership and that as on March, 2019 "all previous membership will be NOT be grandfathered and all members will have to pay the monthly membership of $59.99 regardless of the membership contract". During this conversation, I was advised that I could communicate with the corporate office and state my displeasure by contacting them @ the above address which was a complete waste of my time on Saturday. Their membership contracts are nothing more than a "scam"! No matter what you initially agree to in the contract they change it to their benefit, not yours. I think it says a lot about a corporation and their shady business dealings when a customer has no ability to contact them other than by email and they do not take the time to respond. It will take me several attempts of calling till someone finally answers the phone to be able to make an appointment. Then this last time when I booked the appointment I had Double checked the price of a full set with the girl on the phone. She told me a price. After pulling me up and seeing I am a member. When I first called to make the appointment I spoke to Mi and she was so sweet and so wonderful. All during the treatment my eyelid was being pinched, I could feel the glue getting into my eyes and the room smelled really bad like farts. About 20 minutes in I think she thought I fell asleep so she pulled out her phone and started texting. I moved my feet and she stopped and put her phone away. She somehow was flinging lashes and they got stuck everywhere. When she was done with my eyes she ended up pulling lashes off my chin and cheek which I could feel the glue pulling off my skin. Not super happy with the results either, I asked for natural and these are no where near natural. I'm left with an eye that won't stop watering and some okay looking extensions all for $79.99 with a $5 tip Probably won't be going back. read more
