HORRIBLE. I came out looking exactly the same as wehn I arrived! Neither the lift nor the tint did ANYTHING to my lashes. I asked for some sort of a discount since the procedure obviously did not work and was told they could not. I just paid $89 to essentially go in and have my eyes burn for an hour. read more

Went for a lash lift , was a last minute appointment and I was glad that they can see me right away, I don't understand what was the need for 2 technicians for a lash lift but still they both only focus on talking from politics to breakfast and none were able to do their job. 45 min late my lashes are slightly lift almost unnoticeable and even worse the manager was apathetic when I mentioned my concerns. I should have guessed since her own eyelashes were terribly done. Better places to spend my money.based on my experience they should hired better technicians. read more

I almost hate to leave a bad review because I reeeeally want to enjoy my experience here! I was recommended from my cousin who even has a membership here and her girls she knows she likes their work. But even after my experience she expressed she doesn't blame me for not wanting to go back as she wouldn't have either. I just moved from NY to Nc middle of January. My cousin had a lash appointment for 2/5 and I called in to see if I could also get an appointment so I can ride with her (since I don't have a car here yet) I was able to book the same time and was told my new lash appointment would be longer then my cousins which was completely understandable! I was told mine would take 2 hours and I was getting a discounted price because I was going with a trainee (not the word they used, they used a better word sorry I just can't remember it. No disrespect to that girl she was so sweet!) The location and front desk and very nice clean and welcoming I loved going back to wash my lashes before getting started. I assumed I would be able to say what I wanted for the $90 - I told her I wanted them to look like cash lashes but not too long or overly full since I wear glasses and don't like them to hit my glasses. Also with a cat eye look. She pointed at a few pictures on her wall and I trusted her to do whatever she thought would be best for my eyes. She also upsold me on 6D lashes which I didn't know was an extra cost until I was almost leaving and the front desk mentioned it. I'm not mad at the upswell it's what they're suppose to but not with the results I ended up with.. 2.5 hours later when I opened my eyes it almost looked I had no lashes on my eyes. Don't get me wrong very "sweet and cute" but you definitely wouldn't tell I had lashes by looking at me. I wanted them done for my first bday away from home on 2/10 but just ended up leaving and thanking all the ladies for their work because she did spend a lot of time with me and though maybe it was the way I explained it to her. I was unhappy but didn't want to mention anything. Leaving around 430pm - between the rest of my evening till the next day more then half of my lashes and fans fell off. I was so put off after paying closer to $150 when I was told $90 and was just so over it. My cousin told me to call and them then which I did. Whoever I spoke with over the phone again very sweet! Asked me to send pictures of my lashes to see how many I was missing and they rebooked me that same night with another girl for free. The second set of lashes were 10x better but still not what I was wanting - again might be my fault to assume their styles are what I was used to from my old lash artist- but at least they looked like I had lash extensions on! Comes to my birthday that same week - they barely made it. Which did make me a little sad. As lovely as the girls were and nice and clean the location is I think it's VERY important to go on their IG or ask to see the girls work or now I regret not using my own pictures as a reference. My cousin is due for her refill this weekend and her lashes still look perfect as if she doesn't need a fill but she told me the location would probably charge me for a new fill which just isn't worth it after such a bad first experience. Not sure if they all fell out from the first session or if it's just the bonding and myself. I do keep my lashes very clean washing and brushing them. I've gotten lashes multiple times and never had this issue before. I really wanted to be able to take the ride with my cousin every two weeks for her fills but I obviously can't use her girl at the same time lol and scared to try for a 3rd time but I think with letter research and explaining it's possible to love this locations work because my cousin is going to swear by her lash girls!!! read more

Do not go to this place unless you want to be treated poorly. I was running late to my appointment and tried calling 7 times with no answer. I arrived late, and was told they charged my card as a no show the full amount; mind you I was right at the 15 minute mark. When I told them I tried calling a lady from the back room comes out to argue with me that she did answer my calls. Umm I can show you my call log! It was just the rudest most unprofessional interaction. Literally this woman, who isn't even the front desk person came out to argue with a customer for no reason. I ended up leaving...in a time when small business is struggling I wouldn't feel bad if this one closed! If you can't treat customers with basic respect, maybe you shouldn't be in the services industry. Don't say I didn't warn you I f you do end up going here. read more

Don't waste your money. I have been doing lash extensions with the ALS in Durham for years- cancels my membership because of how poor things were run there. Decided to use my last two credits at a different location. Chapel Hill was even more disappointing. I made sure when making my appointment that they would have my info from the other location. A manger told me they would call before my appt and have it all on hand. I show up and they don't have any of my info, I had to fill out paperwork again and the staff had no idea about my credits. I have had enough of the ALS's inept staff and cluelessness about payments, membership etc. I left without having a service and ALS now has my money for the last two credits. And finally a girls comes to me and said sorry we don't have anybody for this time today, do you wanted schedule another days! And I was just shocked and upset! I had to drive 30 minutes to get there on time with my kids. I just have a question, is your time valuable but my time is not ?! When I was making appointment The first thing they ask me was my credit card number, bc they wanted make sure I will be on time and show up, if I was late or not show up they will be charge my card, but when they cancel or not checking on time they just said sorry!? As a shift worker and single parent I value self care as well as my time. Booked an appointment for a 3D volume set. I've received a classic set from another location and was looking to go next level. What I received was less than amazing. Not even eye catching. Spoke with the director following service and the advice recieved was to give it a couple of days as they might grow on me. I've seen nail salon lashes come out better. I emailed the same day for follow up as requested as just not impressed or satisfied with the look. I also called the following day. Instead of a return phone call I received an email response. As of now, my lashes still have not been corrected. I've had one other unsatisfactory visit at another location for a refill with a "junior" stylist. That location booked me the very next day to resolve issue. So from that unsatisfactory visit I decided to just see master stylists. They are the most experienced and faster at application so I'm told. Customer service is key to customer retention. This place will NOT get any more of my money. A big waste of $164 dollars. As an update, the allergic reaction on my eyelid burned for a few days but has gotten better. But unfortunately, I am developing a stye. I've never had so many issues from lash extensions. read more

After reading many horrific reviews, I was absolutely scared to get my lashes done here. I'd previously had my lashes done at other salons before, but the technique was different (under the eyelid). Anyways, I went in on a Friday afternoon to schedule an appointment and to get more information about the technique, and addressed my concerns of the reviews/red eyes, because I wear contacts. The ladies at the front were very knowledgeable and eased my nerves. I made an appointment for the following day, and put my CC on file to reserve my appointment. When I arrived for my appointment, the lady at the front went over a few documents with me, then I went to wash my lashes. Afterwards, Nailley* called me to the back to start the process. She informed me that I could take a nap, provided a blanket, and it began. The process was very simple, just keep your eyes shut! I dozed off twice - here and there I could feel a tingle in my eyes from the glue, but nothing crazy. Once the process was over, about 2 hours later, I was scared to open my eyes!! I'd seen many photos of people with red, watery eyes, and I was scared that It might be me, but NOPE, my eyes were perfectly normal when I opened them. Afterwards she went over the after care procedure and I went to checkout. This was a great 1st time experience! Needless to say I am happy with my lashes! read more

Very unprofessional. The master stylist is good however there is always a lack of communication there. I paid one price 3x and on the 4th time there was a increase in charge by $20. The money was not the issue! The issue was the communication prior to doing my lashes. Then i was a member due to covid19 i asked that my membership not be active. A few weeks later my card was charged!!! Instead of the manager refunding me my money she wants to tell me there is a cancellation fee. Why are you trying to charge me a fee when I clearly said I am not doing lashes because of covid19. I asked for membership to be put on hold until I am ready to resume. The manager said she will call me before 5pm didn't call. Gave her other worker information to give me which is unprofessional. I would not support this business!!! read more

Not the case, the technician had already left before I arrived. So I asked about my 3:30 original appointment because it was very important I got my lashes done. Without checking they said oh that appointment is filled. I was puzzled on how the tech was so busy but not even at work any longer. They were very inconsiderate and didn't even follow their own rules. No one ever contacted me from this salon. I ended up trying and loving the Brier Creek location!!! read more

My experience started off as me being a lash model. I was told that these were students that were in training and the service would be free. What I was NOT told is the students had NEVER done a set of lashes before.... if I had been appropriately warned I wouldn't have loaned my healthy thick lashes to this type of cause. Misinformed and a little weary, I laid down to get my eyelashes done. After about 30 minutes she told me that she was only allowed to put a few eyelashes on each eye and then I would have to come back in a few weeks to get the rest done. This was also something I wasn't informed of.The advertisement said a SET. Of lashes. It was all a very misleading process that needs to be scrapped, throw the whole model idea away. YOU ALL ARE MESSING UP PEOPLE'S LASHES!! Nonetheless, I didn't want to be problematic and I said OK. I left unsatisfied and looking crazy!! On the drive home I realized that my lashes were very uncomfortable and they had huge amounts of glue. I called and was able to get an appointment either the next day/the day after to have them removed. I get to my removal appointment and a lash expert or master along with the manager both were trying to get the glue off of the 20 lashes. It took a total of about two hours for them to get them off, and there was still glue left on my lashes after that. I notified them that I wanted to cancel the membership that I was bullied into at the front desk. I notified them that I did not want them charging my card, and I was completely dissatisfied with my service. I also let them know that I was not satisfied with my removal, which they made seem like they did as a favor to me for free!!!! A week later I get a phone call telling me that I missed the appointment for the month that I already paid for and I was quite befuddled. I let them know I had canceled my account well within the amount of time that I needed to and that I was confused how I had paid for something that I asked not to be taken out of my account. She said she saw where I attempted to cancel my account and she saw that I was dissatisfied, but that the account was not canceled... she told me that she would cancel it. It was all solved.... or so I thought. This happened 3 more times, until I was finally in contact with a manager (who I should have been speaking with the first 3 times instead of being misled to believe my account would be canceled... apparently only a manager can cancel memberships). The manager Kelsey was extremely rude kept interrupting me kept questioning me she ultimately hung up on me. I asked the owner or area manager to be contacted and given my contact information, that never happened. If it has, this would have been a perfect opportunity for a quality check!!!! I gave the situation time to cool off, and called back a few days later and spoke with a different manager who said that she was extremely apologetic for what I'd gone through and it offered me a free service!!! I told her that I would accept it under the condition that I be allowed enough time to have my natural lashes grow, they were mangled, measly, weak and they had bald spots!!! She agreed and at that moment I thought everything was solved. NOPE. When my lashes were a LITTLE stronger (takes a month to start seeing growth) I went to make an appointment with who I was told was a master. Needless to say... this "master stylist" attached 6 lashes, one on top of the other, to clumps of 5 of my lashes with GLOBS of glue. I've got huge bald spots, lashes that have broken off from the glue and weight. I finally spoke to the area manager who told me that the employee that did my lashes had been fired after quality checks. Which leads me to believe they aren't checking quality enough. So now I have weak, measly balding lashes that look nothing like what I started with. And alll I've been offered is a bottle of lash serum that may or may not work and an apology. Save your time. Customer service is terrible. Looking at my natural lashes makes me cry. I'm filing an insurance claim. read more

I was a member at Amazing Lash Studio for well over a year, and I mourn the amount of money I spent trying to cooperate with what I see as a sub par product. The stylists are so sweet and friendly, and I've had experienced with many of them, but these lashes will. not. stay. on. I was going in to this studio EVERY TWO WEEKS for a refill and they *still* weren't staying on. My last set (which I got 5 days ago) are basically *gone.* When you pay $70 in membership, $30 for refills, plus tips, plus all the products that help "prolong" your lashes, it's reasonable to expect that you ALWAYS have your lashes on. Alas--they always fall out. And I've calmly and kindly asked about this and the solution is always to buy more of their products which DO NOT HELP in this matter! After my last visit, I got a little fed up because three of my lashes fell out just by the time I sat in my car! So I brought them to the desk. The associates' answer to this was essentially a shrug and they handed me the paperwork to fill out to terminate my membership. After about 18 months of being a loyal customer and presuming it was my fault that my lashes were falling out so fast ("oops, sorry, did I move my head??") and spending so much money to cover up for their crummy product, I expected a better response. Or at least a better job faking at caring? The more I think about it, the angrier I get. I can't believe how disappointed I am. I recommended this place to 2 of my friends who are experiencing the SAME problems and now I'm going to find a different location for us (even if we have to drive an extra 10 minutes to Cary, it's better than paying so much money to come in every 2 weeks for lashes that aren't actually glued!). Amazing Lash Studio--shame on you. Seriously. read more

I do not recommend this place. Maybe the standards for eyelash extensions are different here than what I'm used to but I was not at all satisfied with my lash extensions. My technician, though nice, was very sloppy with her application of the individual lashes. Some of the lashes were glued to chunks of 2-3 hairs of my natural lashes which made it very painful as they grew out. Usually each lash extension is applied hair by hair to your natural lashes. When it's not done that way it can be super irritating and sometimes painful. Not only were the lashes not meticulously placed, but they went in all different directions. I had to trim some after I left just to give the illusion that they were going the direction that they should. Lucky for me the lash glue wasn't very strong and many of my lashes came off within the first few days. Usually this would be a bad thing but when you don't get the lashes you want, you hope that they fall off ASAP. Plus the eyelashes they use are very stiff and do not feel or look very natural. Not only did I not like the lashes but the technician was trying to promote her own personal lash business that she runs outside of Amazing Lash. She asked me if I would get them done privately and if so, to give her my contact information. This was all while I was getting my lashes done. Do you really want to piss off the lady that is working on your eyelashes? It just put me in a very awkward and uncomfortable position. She continued to promote her product and was bad mouthing the whole Amazing Lash company because apparently they do not take care of their employees. I did not have a good experience and I wouldn't dare recommend this place to any of my yelp friends. read more

I used to love this place but have had problems lately. My lashes didn't last and my stylist informed me the previous set was done poorly. I booked a full set which was 100.00 and they barely lasted 10 days. I went in to discuss and they said the adhesive was bad and they would redo it. Redid it at no charge but lashes were falling out everywhere. 18 in my bed the next morning. ..6 in the sink....i even had 2 fall on to my dinner plate. I called the next day. No response or call back. One week later and there are very few lashes left on one eye. Not only has it cost over 200.00 to have about one week total of nice lashes in a month, its taken hours of time and much frustration read more

This place really knows how to not listen. I was a happy member years ago and decided to go back 6 months ago to get them back on. At that time I asked the girl to do exactly what they used to do to my lashes I n the past. She took over two hours to apply the set then when she was finished I could barely tell she did anything and what she did do fell out a few days later. She did not do what I used to have done at all. She DIDNT LISTEN!!! Even though I had a bad experience in early 2022 I decided to try again today to use the credits remaining....I called and requested a master stylist so that it wouldn't take over 2 hours. When I arrived I discussed the set I wanted and asked for a small amount more that I was given last time but I still wanted them to "look natural". I can't stand when lashes look incredibly fake and I voiced that to the master stylist before she started. She took over two hours to apply the set. When she was done before she showed me the lashes she said to me "they are a lot heavier than I expected but don't worry they will thin out". She knew she messed up before I even saw them. She showed me and I nearly cried. I have never seen my lashes look so incredibly fake. I immediately asked how to remove them. She told me I had to wait until tomorrow to remove them which meant that I had to walk around looking like hooker Barbie for a day. Not only did they look awful but they felt horrible and heavy. I am embarrassed to be seen with them looking like this. I have credits and now I will probably lose hundreds because I can't possibly try again. They DON'T LISTEN!!!! I never wanted 3D volume lashes. I got lashes to feel enhanced but I learned my lesson that the current team DOES NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT NATURAL and APPROPRIATE MEANS. Now I not only looked awful but will have to wait for my lashes to grow back since they ruined the real lashes I did have. This place isn't worth the risk because they can't fix the mistakes they make. This is my first time ever reviewing a business on yelp so clearly that am disappointed enough to take the time to warn people. If you're a woman in your 40s (like me) just looking to enhance your look in a classy way this place doesn't know how to do that. They used to get it but now they just don't. Please don't spend 2 hours laying flat on your back (which eventually starts to cramp) to have to have something removed bc they DONT LISTEN. read more

Amazing lash studio does a great job! I wouldn't recommend refills unless your ok with your lashes falling out quickly for the expensive amount of money you will be paying. Not only is it uncomfortable to have these lashes but over time you will see how the lash extensions will destroy your real lashes. I invested money in the lash face wash, mascara, and eyeliner. I would definitely not recommend the mascara because it will clump your lash extensions, the eyeliner and face wash help to minimize lash loss but in the end if you don't do a refill 2x a month, your lashes will diminish noticeably over a couple months. read more

Updates: The good: This location apparently changed ownership recently and Jamie really went out of her way to reach me after playing phone tag for weeks. She set me up with a more experienced technician who was very nice. Jamie set me up for a complimentary set of lashes which was really sweet of her. Also, no intense pressure to buy the membership or products which was A+. The technician put tape on a little crooked so my eye was a little irritated but NOTHING like the first reaction. The redness and irritation was limited to that eye and went away within the first few hours. The bad: for some reason, one eye didn't take the lashes as well as the other one. I followed all the aftercare instructions religiously (I even showered with swim goggles... lol) but one eye is way more sparse than the other. Also after 48h it already looked less full, before I had even touched them. Maybe my skin is too oily and is breaking down the glue or I'm expecting too much of extensions? I want them to look like falsies but they don't really have the same degree of ridiculous fullness and I opted for the "glamour" ones this time. I don't think this is something that i want to do or can do on a regular basis but I'm glad I got to actually give it a fair shot and the customer service from the new owner is excellent. read more

I've been a member off and on for the last three years. Fortunately I've also been able to schedule with Kristin most of the times that I've gotten my lashes done. I know these pictures don't really do her justice but I can tell you there is a NOTICABLE difference in my eyes when she is done applying my lashes. My eyes literally POP! I can go without makeup when I choose to and it still looks like I've taken time to actually make up my eyes. I absolutely love the style she does on me. She does a cross between the Natural and the Sexy and it makes me look just that Naturally Sexy. I've only had one experience that I didn't really like the way my lashes came out ((they weren't as full or shaped as I thought they should be considering my normal look)) and that was when I scheduled with another stylist and when I called back to ask about how to get it fixed because I was unhappy I was IMMEDIATELY scheduled to come back and have them filled in and corrected. I couldn't be happier with my experiences here at the Southpoint location. The success of having a good experience at these salons is finding the right stylist, who wants to do a good job for you, and then build that relationship. Unfortunately there is a lot of turnover because the high quality stylists seem to not be recognized by the management and thus are not given any incentives to stay and build with the company. Substandard stylists are not corrected quickly, and the good stylists have to correct the substandard work of those that are still learning. I am a regular customer with a membership for nearly 3 years because of Britney and Cherish, who are great at eyelash extensions, but also because they care about their work and they take the time needed to help make you look your best. With the change in management, sales pressure became the priority, so the employees are pressured to go faster, sell and make money, rather than take the time to do a quality service. To do a quality service, an employee has to actually care about the work they are doing. Somebody needs to tell the new management that eyelashes are personal aesthetic services that require building and maintaining relationships with the clients, not pushing out an assembly line of quicker and faster 'slap on' lashes. Putting on eyelash extensions is personal, it is not like going to pick up a product at the local supermarket. The service given is only as good as its people. A week ago, I had the worst set of lashes I have ever received in this salon, due to not going to my regular stylist. The lashes were so sparse, so bad, and so expensive, I wondered if the new management was trying to kill this location. I returned back to my regular stylist, Britney, and she corrected the mistake. A new customer would not know that this is possible, that the quality of service available is due to finding the high quality people there. First, you have to find them so you can get a consistent, high quality set of lashes that look great and last longer than 3 -5 days. A poor stylist can ruin the reputation of the salon location, and clearly that is a big problem in their business model. What I would suggest is to stop pushing sales over quality service, and to reward the stylists that are really good, care about the clients, and who are building the main relationships for the salon. The pump and dump stylists not only suck, but they ruin the experience for the long term clients, because they are a waste of time and money for everyone involved. For those new to this location, you will get a high quality master stylist that will do a great job for you in Britney, Cherish and Ja'net. As far as I'm concerned if other stylists cannot meet a similar quality than these three stylists, they should be junior stylists offering a discount on the lashes. If this is not corrected the location will continue to suffer with a bad reputation - expensive and low quality service as a result of substandard stylists who are not experienced and just don't get it. Customers are smart and will figure this out eventually. read more

I use to get my lashes done here, I got into a bad financial spot during COVID so I requested for my account to be cancelled. They suggested freezing it, so I just said okay. I was understanding since i work in the beauty industry so was willing to pay for a fullset again 2 weeks later. For my third time, my appt. was at 11:10 and unfortunately my car was having trouble starting and i arrived at 11:20. I know that's nobody's fault but i wasn't warned or aware that if i was 10 mins late i would not be seen and be charged 50%. Maybe its listed somewhere but im very disappointed and won't be returning. read more
