I visited the Amazing Lash Studio three days ago after Cassandra texted and called me to see how my lashes were holding up. I decided to follow up with her because my lashes are hideous!!! When I called, she claimed I had never been with them, so I had to refresh her memory by giving her my number again. Then when she magically remember me and snapped her attitude on like a fake smile. As her sour attitude started , I had to stop her and say I have a text and call for you that says . Hello this is "Cassandra" It is now been 48 hours so you can wash your lashes and if you have a blow dryer, extend your arm and dry them. She went ahead and asked me if I do lashes when she realized that I was a customer. P.S. so professional she does not do them but had no idea that I do. So rude, then she wanted to tell me that the reason my lashes did not adhere properly was because I haven't been getting them done regularly. The most inappropriate question she asked me was if I was a lash artist. ( when she is not one) I guess being a customer is not good enough anymore maybe you gotta bring your resume. ... hmmmm. The whole experience was really bad, especially the fact that she was listening to some sort of social media on loud blast through the entire experience at the front desk. So it was for sure not the spa feel I was looking for. Luckily I got a peppermint out of it. PS If they don't offer you a lash bath ( which is standard ) in her words it is because a " lash bath is an extra service" that's why I never got one. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing experience, or to feel a bit dazzled as a woman if they are feeling like they need a revamp. When she told me I did not need to tip my artist at the end, ( I did anyway as I was receiving a service) ! Maybe she needs to get educated in @ your services. I like giving people the benefit of the doubt. I don't like leaving bad reviews because i know it can just be an off day for some people or whatever the reason. But This was bad. I asked for a lash lift and oh my goodness this was what i got. I was told the reason was because I mentioned the pressure on my eye began to hurt and she was trying to not put as much pressure so hey, this could be my fault. I understand my request for less pressure was a bit inconvenient, but if i had been told that this was going to be the outcome, I would've toughed it out. Only time they're nice is when they want you to buy retail or sign up for the membership. I will say a couple of the technicians are nice and do a decent job, but if not for that I'd give this place 0 stars. Front desk has attitude about everything and cannot he bothered for anything. Don't work in customer service if you don't like people... Cassandra was extremely rude to me on the phone when I called and had a couple of questions. Now, I do not mind being thorough but not once did she ask if I needed to reposition my neck. How I was doing ... ANYTHING. She probably spoke 2 words to me my entire visit. ***Full disclosure: I came in as a model for a lash tech in training*** Amazing lash studio itself is beautiful and sanitary. A place that you could trust to use sterile equipment, which is key when working with eyes. My trainee's name was Britney. She was very welcoming, informative, gentle, and engaging with me. Great for those who are able to stay awake. lol!!! I actually fell asleep, as we were warned that it is going to be around 2 hours. Britney confirmed that the studio prefers their trainees to take the full time to perfect the work. 4 styles that you can choose from: natural, cute, sexy and gorgeous. I chose gorgeous because I was searching for a more full look, as my lashes are short and thin. For your first session, they only allow their techs to go up to 12. I am not sure if that applies because they are trainees or it's a requirement for all new customers. If it is the latter, that would be a bit odd. I've had mine previously done before with 13's, at a different location. Britney asked if I could feel her placing anything on my lashes. I said no. I then mentioned that the previous time I got extensions, I could feel the lashes being placed on my eyelid. She said they do not like to do that because it could cause an infection (or something like that). Fast forward 2 hours... I honestly do not like my lashes... As I feared, the extensions were placed too far out and look overgrown... I recall her saying that she was trying a new technique where she didn't have to spread my lashes apart and I could tell, unfortunately. Some overlapped. Some had an extension on two lashes, which is usually the other way around. Some lashes were still bare... I struggled removing my previous lashes with baby oil, but these will probably slip right off. I'm tempted to just remove them tonight. :/ Again, this was from a trainee who first started the prior Thursday. I wasn't told that if I ran late I would still have to pay 50% up charge on my appt if I came later than 15min. Initially I was told my appt would take 1-11/2 hrs so if my appt time is still scheduled and I am within my slot why am I paying more. It is shiesty business practices. She then told me the 1- 11/2 hrs I was initially told was to fill out paperwork and that they want to make sure they have enough time to do the lashes which really take 1hr and 10min. So why don't they say that when u are making the appt and they should say if u are late you still will have to pay after 15min. I am waiting to hear back from the Mgr Kelly Vu~ but I won't patronize this business. If u want to lock someone in a late fee let them know beforehand. read more

Okay Y'all, Just had a baby about seven weeks ago and I was ready for some me time. I 1000% recommend coming here. The front desk assistant, Neon, was fun and charming and when i got to my room there was a nice pillow to put under my knees and a comfy cozy blanket. This was my first time getting lashes and coming to this location. I came as a referral from a friend to have Ty do my lashes. I made an appointment for 3:15 and rushed to get there, but wasn't called in until almost 3:45. Since I had ample time to wait I enjoy how pristine and clean the studio is, the white decor and the lights are very nice, and the bathroom was spotless and sanitary. While I was waiting I witnessed 3 women in a row come out with complaints. One said her lashes were too sparse, another was upset she was told her artist wasn't there but she really was, and the third was annoyed with being charged for a full refill instead of a mini. I don't know if their complaints were valid, but I do know I watched the manager only offer a weak apology for their outrage. My experience was perfect. Ty worked quickly and efficiently, asking if I was ok when she placed the tape and if I was comfortable. After my lashes were applied she made some recommendations for me to get my natural lashes healthier and advised me of how to care for my new FABULOUS lashes. I made quite the commute to go to Cypress for the lash install and will probably try a more local location for my refill. Hopefully the other locations will have less costumers complaining. read more

As a member of Amazing Lash for 10 years, and being sponsored by them in San Diego and Houston (they're all over the US)---I was highly disappointed with my experience at this location. I came from San Diego to visit Cypress, and decided to get a lash refill. I asked the receptionist when making an appt to please refer me to someone experienced because I'm SO picky with my lashes. She made me an appt with Lily whom she claimed was her favorite. When I get my lashes done, I'm usually comfortable and fall asleep even because that's just how good the stylists are. However, while Lily placed my lashes, the glue started severely stinging my left eye to the point I was tearing up the entire process. It was burning so bad, and this has NEVER happened to me in 10 years of my experience. Lily reassured me it was "normal" when the eyes are tired, and they changed the glue to a new one that burns more but it lasts longer. I trusted her and just went with it. I even asked the receptionist, Nicole, if all the above was true and she agreed. I took the following pictures showing how my eye got infected a few hours later, and a large amount of lashes fell off the same night. As you can see, multiple lashes were glued to one lash, and this is not proper technique. This was what it looked like for most of the ones that fell out. I am a big fan of the Amazing Lash franchise, BUT I had the worst experience at the Cypress location. I've never filed a formal complaint before, but this location will definitely be notified to ensure every stylist should stop the process when a customer is experiencing severe discomfort of the eye. I was upset Lily kept going with my lashes although I was in severe pain, and dismissed me completely. I do not recommend this stylist or location. read more

This was my worst lash experience! I've never had such a painful lash experience in my life! A little burn yes but nothing like this! I had Annie! Initially I thought she was a bit aggressive in her speech. However she taped my eyes and I could feel every single burn from the adhesive from start to finish of my entire service! She complained about the growth of my lashes and pinched me several times with the tweezers and not once during the service did she apologize. I've always done my lashes and I've never experienced so much discomfort. The location is clean and the receptionist was good but my service was horrible. I didn't leave a tip and I feel bad about that because I always tip for my services but this was so horrible that I simply had no reason to leave a tip! Came in for the first time to do my very first eyelash extension, so I came in very inexperienced but my stylist Natalia was beyond helpful in answering all my questions and concerns and was very detailed on aftercare. My friend had gone to the studio and they had told her that she needed to get a certain kind of lash to achieve a certain kind of look and did not tell her the price before hand overcharged through whenever she was checking out and did not give her was she wanted she had to come back another day to get it fixed because they had not followed anything at all that she had specified for what she wanted during the service. READ THE CONTRACT!! I joined Amazing Lash in January 2016. I loved getting my lashes done & they always looked so beautiful. I went about every 12-14 days for a refill. Now it's August 2016 & within the past week my eyes started to itch. If you've worn lashes you know you can't simply rub your eyes without destroying the lashes. So I googled how to take them off & it's actually very simple. They slid right off. This is not something Amazing Lash divulges to its loyal customers. My real lashes are broken & brittle. That's not the worst part! I called to cancel my membership & was told I was under contract & must pay a $150 cancellation fee???!!!! When I sighed up & was given the "contract paperwork" I will admit I skimmed over it & did not see that I was basically giving amazing lash access to my bank account for a 1 year minimum!! An eyelash contract???!! Give me a break! I feel that is a sneaky, underhanded business practice. It soured my entire opinion of Amazing Lash Studio... Still waiting to be contacted... read more

I came in to model for a trainee and my stylist was Brittney? She was great and we held a conversation the whole time so it went by fast. She walked me through each step while she's prepping me. The results were good. I chose to do the natural set and it came out very natural looking. I loved the curls and the fact that the lashes doesn't bother or itch me like other lash extensions I've done in the past. However, after going home, I did notice a few end lashes not having the lash extension on which is a bummer but I don't feel like making another trip. I was disappointed in the front desk and manager. While I was in the room with the doors closed and getting my lashes worked on, you can hear them laughing and talking so loud and rudely. This location is HORRIBLE when it comes to customer service. I have been with Amazing Lash for years now and I recently moved to Cypress so I gave this location a try. HUGE MISTAKE. The first person to do my lashes had so many lashes stacked up on top of each other and they all fell off within a week. On the 10th day I called to complain and see if they would fix it and but of course not. They used my lash credit for it. Now, this set only lasted 2 weeks and here I am now having to pay out of pocket, along with my monthly membership fee, just to remedy their eff ups. Receptionists have been assuring me for 3 DAYS that a manager is going to return my call but still nothing. In all of my time with Amazing Lash I've never had to go back before my scheduled time, had my lashes almost completely gone in 7-10 days, or even had an unpleasant experience. *** DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT!!! WARNING!!! BEWARE!*** I came here a little after they first opened, about a year ago.... they rented the spot from where massage envy used to be. They offered a huge 'discount' for signing a contract with a monthly fee. While going over this contract, the manager himself reassured me that while the contract was a year, he would be willing to cancel it for whatever reason and waive the outrageous $150 fee...... NOT THE CASE!!!! THIS WAS A BOLD FACED LIE!!!. I used my 'membership' twice. I've been paying the monthly fee for almost a year and am due to expire (Thank God). Each time I have called to speak to someone, the people are inexperienced and have little to no knowledge about anything going on in the shop. I have requested to cancel multiple times, been told that I can even have my account 'suspended, until I am ready to use' only to have my account charged all over again for the next monthly payment. I have sent a 'formal email' (according to their representative over the telephone, this method is acceptable for cancellations) requesting my account be cancelled after the year is up in March..... my THIRD cancellation request... lets see if they honor that, or if they come up with some other bogus excuse. ** responding to the 'response' from amazing lash** So I suppose I was 'misinformed' by yet another employee when she said I could freely use the sessions I have been paying for the last year?
