In fact, she even stated she didn't HAVE the 130 to pay for the Glamour lashes and all she had was $85. Then stated she would be back at 6pm so they could fill them in more - but refused to pay any additional charge. This woman's sense of entitlement was ridiculous. This place has the right to refuse service. Not surprised she gave them a 1 star. You cant go around not paying people for their time and service. Even after they waived her $30 lash removal fee. Any ways, This place is legit and they have a cute little set up. I ALWAYS fall asleep during the process, really nice. Get tons of compliments on my lashes.

Why I went back, I question every day. She doesn't change the sheets between clients, she offers a blanket every time that I know is not washed between clients, so I decline. She doesn't leave her chair when she calls her next client into her station. I'm not sure how she has time to sterilize her equipment; therefore, I don't think she does. This last time I went to her, I got a horrible infection that resulted in my eyelashes falling out. I have no eye eyelashes! The pain was unbelievable, so much so that I almost went to the emergency room. I couldn't sleep, my eyes were red and felt like they were bulging out of my head! I went to my eye doctor twice and thank goodness my eyes are okay and I'm grateful for that. However, I have no eyelashes! I questioned her in the past about the eye infections I've had and questioned her about her sterilization procedures. In her broken English, she told me she does sterilize between clients. I do not believe that she sterilizes her tools. I've have two friends who have also gotten eye infections from her. One day as I was waiting for my appointment, a lady was checking out and questioning the receptionist as to why her eyes have been so itchy and red the last time she got her eyelash extensions. That should've been my clue, amongst others, to not return. When I go to my nail salon, they open a package of tools that have been through a sterilization process. Hannah's business does not do that! Shame on me for returning and I learned my lesson the hard way. She did return my money, including my tip and offered me free eyelash extensions when my eyelashes grow back, really? I will never get eyelash extensions again. I'm grateful that my eyes were not permanently damaged. My eyelashes will grow back, but I will never get eyelash extensions again. Please be aware that it appears that Hannah is violating health codes. I have notified the health department. She could truly damage someone's eyes permanently! It's just not worth the risk. Hopefully she will get a violation and get her act together by changing the sheets between clients, bringing a new blanket in each time a client walks into her station and properly sterilizes her tools with the proper sterilization equipment. This is a disaster waiting to happen... I was lucky there was only my eye eyelashes and my eyesight was not damaged. Hannah, I've seen that you have responded to others who have given you a low rating. Don't you dare respond to this one with any excuses. Hopefully the health department will be knocking on your door any day now. I would suggest that you get your act together and sterilize your equipment and change the sheets! That's disgusting!

I was very hesitant to get a lash lift because I've always had full and long lashes and was scared they'd get messed up but I wanted to stop using mascara as often so I decided to get one. Now it's June and my lashes are broken off and frizzy. They go all different ways and just look really really bad. I've tried oils and everything to get them to look normal but nothing has worked yet. My experience wasn't great when I went in and now my lashes are ruined, I can't wear mascara because it looks crazy. I'm not sure if they were over curled or the chemicals were left on too long but my eyelashes still haven't recovered. I'm so upset my beautiful lashes are ruined. I regret getting a lash lift and would never get one again unfortunately.

The company explained that this is normal because these are not permanent lashes. I usually get lash extensions from another place and they usually last for at least 3 weeks with minimum fall out. Because of this I don't consistently attend chic lash boutique. In this economy today, if I pay a $150 for lashes. I want them to last at least 2-3 weeks without having to touch them up. My favorite lash artist is Mary, she's kind, and skilled.

I schedule refills and then come refill time, My eyelashes are pretty much gone to where I feel like I need a full set , but because I didn't tell them that at the time of booking the refill, (like I knew your lashes were gonna fall out so soon) they won't accommodate that and make me come back and schedule another appointment. Time management is not the best there. This is the only place I have been to that my lashes don't last at least a month before I need to refill. Also not a fan of prices. They charge you for the initial Lash instillation and then they charge you for the style of lash you want and then they also charge you a master stylist fee on top of that. I feel like I walk out spending $350 on lashes which I've never done before. Even with the membership I just don't feel like it's worth it so I'm glad I never signed up. I thought that maybe it was just the location that I was going to. Amazing lash studio is a chain so they have multiple locations. I went to the midtown location and got a "master stylist" and she gave me a full set of eyelash extensions, and I kid you not. The next day they fell all out. I have been getting my lashes done for the last five years, so I know how to properly take care of them. When I called to tell them what had happened, they blamed me and said, are you sure you didn't do this yourself?. Yeah because I wanted to spend my day coming back to redo my lashes. Because I have nothing better to do with my life on a Saturday before a big event which was the reason I went the day before.

I am with Chi for almost a year and could not be happier with my experience. Chi is extraodinary nice, attentive, and very professional. As said in other reviews she is very immaculate: what she does with my lashes is a work of art that looks natural. At her previous studio I'd rather wait couple days to get an appointment with Chi than see another aestetian. I've sent my friends to her and they became regular clients. She takes time to answer all questions, always reminds about the upcoming appointment, does her best to make arrangements if I need to reschedule. I strongly recommend going to Chi if you want to to be confident with the person doing your lashes. With her help you will feel and look great. Chi is one of the best in the business! Her immaculate attention to detail makes for perfect lashes every single visit. I'm very picky due to my sensitive eyes. The adhesive she uses does not bother my eyes. I have several lash studios close to my home. However, I drive an hour both ways, fighting Houston traffic. Her work definitely speaks for itself, as she is very intuitive. I just had my eyelashes refilled and of course they look awesome. The compliments pour in all the time on how natural and beautiful my eyelashes look. I have been going to Chi for eyelash extensions for quite sometime now and wouldn't trust anyone else. Oh my gosh, I was going to Amazing Lash Studio and every time, I left dissatisfied so I said NO MORE!!! I came across Sunny Lash Studio and they had great ratings so I was like let me try them. The process to schedule the appt over the phone took longer than I expected and someone snagged up the 2:30pm. I had to settle for the 5:30pm, which I guess wasn't too bad. I was hesitant to try Nina out because it was just her second day here and there were no reviews for me to refer to. I took the chance and it ended up working out. I got there on time, completed the paper work and Nina took me in to get prepped. She showed me a few pics as reference and I showed her what I wanted and the lengths [10,12,13 and 14]. We wrapped up at 7pm and my lashes looked good. My eyes weren't red and none of the lashes were stuck together. I do wish she alternated the lengths a little bit more like I requested but I'll make sure that happens upon my refill. Few things to note: there's plenty of parking, the shop is very clean and you get $10 if you leave a review on Yelp with a picture and another $10 if you pre-book your refill appt 14 days after your initial appt.

The lashes are beautiful and lasted very well. I have had my lashes done many places and this lash salon ranks up there as one of the best. Highly recommend. The salon is nicely decorated with gentle relaxing music, comfortable treatment lounges, and pleasant and professional staff. Everyone asks me where I get my lashes done.
