Unfortunate. Encountered condescendence and arrogance with the manager Chris in Cypress while inquiring as to how to resolve an issue. Scoffed and snapped at me over the phone with an offensive accusation of making a scene while he was not even present. Surveillance video will prove that is completely false. Faulted me of my "individual biology" and being a first time extension user as to why approx. 90% of lashes fell off in 13 days. I can only assume he thought I was trying to be deceitful because he didn't assess the issue in person nor made an effort to ask any questions. Young lady at the counter named Tara, on the other hand was profesional, considerate and respectful. Thankful though that he did terminate the contract. My lashes came off after 3 days. I was told that they would come off with my entire lash but thank goodness that didn't happen. Every single lash extension had fallen off by day 3. I didn't wear makeup, I didn't get them wet, I didn't rub them. I followed the instructions to a T. Unfortunately I came down with Strep throat on day 3 and I have 3 kids under the age of 8 so I can't go sit at the salon for a fix up. When I called to ask for my $ back or to break my contract (I signed a 3 month contract) I was told that today was day 4 and I'm out of luck. I've had a daughter in the hospital and strep throat myself so I didn't get s chance to make it up there to cancel my membership. When I called she basically told me tough luck then put me on hold for over 30 minutes. I finally hung up. When I got them I thought they were beautiful and I was so excited, but now I'm done. I will be going in again on Monday after thanksgiving to try to get my $$ back probably to no avail. My advice is don't sign up for a membership unless you know the lashes are going to work for you. This location is awful. I requested an appointment and never received a call to confirm my appointment. Therefore, I walked in thinking I had an appointment and not only was I upset that no one told me that they didn't schedule me but I was disrespected. I was told that since I'm not a member I'm not a priority. They kept me waiting for 20 minutes to BOOK an appointment until I had enough. I may have a flair for the dramatic but I am hurt, I am offended, I feel disrespected and they were rude. If you want your lashes go to a different location. Never try to sign up for their membership because after you sign their contract, it is really hard to cancel it. After got my lashes done for the first time i was really happy about it so i decided to sign up for the membership program. Before sign the contract i asked the manager and my stylist that is it ok to cancel my membership anytime. He said yes, it is very easy and fast. I trusted him and I trusted Amazing lash Studio's reputation. But i was wrong. Because i have to go back my country and i do not know when i will come back to Houston. I called amazing lash studio to cancel my membership. The lady who answered my phone told me that all i need to do is come to their place to fill out the cancellation form. I came and filled out the form, then she said she will give it to the store manager to sign it , after 3-4 business day they will contact me. After two weeks, i did not received any call or email to confirm my cancellation. I decided to call them again and they said that they will remind their manager and will contact me next day. One week later, i still not heard anything from them so i decided to come to their studio. when i come i have to explained everything again and received the same answer from them. They told me to go home read the contract and wait for manager call me back in couple days. And now almost 10 days later i have to go back to their place because STILL don't get a return call. The receptionist remembered me and told me she told the manager but do not know why he did not call me back. and she told me i have to pay $150 if i want to cancel it right away. WTH??? They said they need their manager signature to process my cancellation and now if i pay 150 they can cancel it without his signature???? However, i refused to pay that money because base on the contract i do not have to pay for anything if i move to other country. I told the receptionist about that and surprisingly she have no idea about it. I asked her to read through the contract, she gave me the contract and ASKED ME TO SHOW HER. OMG, she works there and do not know anything about their studio's membership contract for customer. I really love my new eyelashes that Megan put in for me!!! ... She is absolutely THE most accommodating person ... :-) ... I like this location but I have had a couple of issues ... First of all, each time someone at the front desk has told me they would call me, they never called ... Also, the next day after I first got the eyelashes put in, some of them came out ... Due to my busy work schedule, I was not able to come in and get new ones put in for several days ... I was told that they would fix the issue for free if I had come in within 3 days but since I couldn't they charged me for a refill ... I went in twice to have my lashes done the first time I had no problems but the next time I got a terrible infection in both eyes (one of the most painful things I've ever been through) my eyes were swollen shut. The dr. told me to take off the lashes and not to put them back on so I contacted the studio several times and have not heard a word back from them and this first started in late March but they still take my money every month. This was my first time ever getting extensions, and I was SO excited. I should have known something was wrong right away, though, as I felt like the gel pads were touching my eyeballs. I kept asking her to move them, but it was NOT comfortable at all. I kept wondering how long I'd have to lay there in this discomfort. An hour + later, the lashes looked great, but my eyes were all red and irritated. The technician (a "master" technician, no less) told me that was normal and would subside. NOT. Once I got home and pulled my lower lids down, I saw DEEP red areas on both eyeballs, and they felt sore. Keep in mind, the lashes are put on the TOP, right?! Well, sure enough, I Googled it, and I found many articles on how technicians use the gel pads INCORRECTLY, thus literally bruising the patient's eyes. I also found several videos on how to work with different shaped eyes. Because mine are big and round, this technician should have known better to NOT use almond shaped pads. They make round ones, as well!!!! How was it that in five minutes I was able to learn this, but the so called "master technician" had no clue?! Of course, I cancelled my membership right away, and asked to speak with a manager. I was told she was not in, but that she would call me the following Tuesday (this was a Friday). Today is 2 Fridays later, and still no phone call. I would NOT recommend this place, and I suggest if you want lash extensions, be sure to QUESTION your technician and determine her knowledge before she even touches you!!! Ah, I've finally hopped on the lash extension craze. I was offered a spot as a model with Alexis here at Amazing Lash Cypress. For the most part, this studio and my tech (Alexis) were very welcoming. Only reason why I subtracted a star is because my confirmation voicemail stated my appointment was at 4:20. I show up at 4:10 to only realize that a mistake had been made and my appointment wasn't actually until 6:10 PM. This was a simple fix for me because I'm easy going and just killed some time around the strip center. But I can see how this would be a inconvenience for a busy person on daily schedule. Alexis was amazing though. She was very thorough and went over everything she was doing. She made me feel very comfortable and even stopped a few times because my stomach had gotten upset (damn you Newks next door) All in all, my experience with amazing lash was well, amazing. Very disappointing place! Used to be good right when it opened, however, it's clear now that management doesn't care and things are going bad. Master stylist leaving this location, leaving is with amateurs and lack of consistency is common. The lobby music is loud and sometimes some of the girls working are loud and have no concern about us customers. Also, I have noticed lack of hygiene and the place and stations look dirty. Can't wait until my contract is over and they won't ever have my business again!!! Do not sign up for a membership here! They don't deliver a good service! Upon coming the tech told me to lay on the table and put my stuff down. The table was messy with used pillows (from a client that had just walked out) and a blanket. I asked her if I could move the linens and change the tissue paper and she did.. but i would assume this should be changed with every client for hygiene purposes. Then iI asked what different styles they had and if I could see pictures of each to help me decide and see what different looks they do and the tech simply told me "no we don't have". That was a little rude and annoying so I just picked the gorgeous look since I wanted a full look. .. I asked the tech her name several times but she never told me her name.. she would just mumble a few words and I just figured she didn't speak much English so I let it go. Then she put some very uncomfortable tape under my eyes which I did NOT like. I thought she would use gel pads. And finally I did not like the final look of the lashes. They do not look even and at the end of the lash she clumped some together I guess she was in a rush and it's very uncomfortable. They do not look natural and my left lash is much more longer and droopier than my right. Will definitely call them and ask for another tech to fix this. And also the staff was very loud and disturbing while customers are in the rooms trying to relax and get the procedure done. read more

Set up my appointment, they stressed that if I canceled with less than a 24 hour window I would have to pay half the service cost (about $40) no matter what. They even made me give them a credit card over the phone to assure this. Then, 15 minutes before my appointment they call to tell me that my technician was out today. So at this point I was already in the parking lot, because I was so worried about being late, and I had already taken a shift off of work to get this done. The only compensation they gave me was to come back in 5 hours and have a girl in training do my lashes for free. Or book another appointment NEXT WEEK at full cost. I couldn't come back in 5 hours and miss even more work for this, I essentially would have been missing the entire day. Just really upset that they put such value on their technicians time (they should) but very little on the customers time. So overall, no lashes and I missed a shift of work. read more

I have no problem with the technician however as a member I was charged not only for my monthly payment but for missing an appointment i never made. I always come in as a walk in because I am a stay home mom of triplets. I called in to inquire about how busy it was on that particular day and asked the receptionist if I had passes for a full set. After being charged for a pass i never used, I later called to ask for a manager and was told the manager would be in the next day and they would call me back. I never received a phone call and every time I call to get the issue resolved there is never a manager available. The customer service is not up to par at this location! read more

I have been going to this location since they opened. The Cypress location never have the gel eye pads. This location uses tape under the eyes which is very uncomfortable. The skin under the eye is thin and it is unhealthy to keep having tape pulled off. I will be taking my service to another location where the establishment provides the gel pads and provides a more comfortable experience for the clients. read more

Very disappointed. I spent several minutes on hold to even book and appointment. They were very vague about the membership and did not offer up the one year required commitment for membership until I specifically asked. They then required that I give them a credit card to guarantee the appointment, which I did. After rearranging my whole work schedule and making sure I arrived at the requested 10 minutes before my appointment time, I waited around for five minutes while they were on the phone. Once they got off the phone, they told me they could not find my appointment and had nothing open. I showed her on my phone where I called their number. I thought at first that I had dialed the wrong location because when I looked up the call on my phone, it showed the number to be a Deer Park, Texas phone number, but it was indeed their phone number. What a waste of time. I guess I should have required them to give me a credit card that I could charge if they didn't show up for the appointment instead of the other way around. WARNING!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!! YOU WILL LOSE YOUR OWN LASHES DRASTICALLY. AND THEY ARE AN UNETHICAL BUSINESS. I went and had lashes done 3 weeks ago for the first time ever. I forgot the name of the lady who did it, but the lashes looked amazing. I took very good care of them. I did not wear eye makeup, go swimming, or rub my eyes a lot. I was considering making this a part of my monthly beauty routine. The third week my lashes still looked pretty great, however my allergies started acting up. My eyes were watery and I could feel a burning sensation in my eyes from the adhesive on the lashes. I decided to go have them removed. I called to make the appointment, no one mentioned any charge for removal . They called me the day before the appointment to confirm appointment, no one mentioned any charge. They called me the day of my appointment to reschedule my appointment for a later time, no one mentioned any price for the removal. I walked in to check in for my appointment, nobody mentioned any pricing for the removal. I went in the room and the lady had me close my eyes and started dabbing something on my lashes. There was nothing protective put on my eyes to keep any of the chemicals from going into my eye. I lay there patiently until she guided me to the bathroom to wash my eyes using soap and water. Once I opened my eyes and looked in the mirror, I saw barely any lashes on my eyes. I look in the mirror and there are CLUMPS of my lashes in the sink. I touched my lash line and more started falling off on my finger. I came out of the bathroom and was asked if everything was fine and I calmly said no. I stated that the sink was scattered with my eyelashes. She stated it just seems like that because I took my fake eyelashes off. I know what my lashes were like prior to the extensions. I'm not unrealistic to not expect a little less eyelash volume but I had CLUMPS of eyelashes falling off of my eyes. I took it as a lesson learned and started walking out the door. I was about to get to my car when someone ran out and told me to come back in. I go back in and this troll looking guy (I'm usually not a name caller but he deserves it) asks "should I just charge your card for the removal?" I stared at him blankly "I was never told about any charge for removal." He then unprofessionally and rudely states "we are not a non profit." It was at this point that he starts speaking to me very rudely. The charge was for $30. It wasn't about the amount. I explained to him that as a business, they need to let customers know about charges up front. After all the chances for an employee to tell me about a removal charge, I thought maybe this is a service included in the charge of initially getting the eyelash extensions . He started saying that I didn't get my lashes done there. I said he needs to check his system properly. All 5 ft of him stood in front of me and talked to me in the most disrespectful manner. It was just bad business all around. While the lashes look great, I highly recommend that if you want to get them, you get them done elsewhere so your eyelashes are not so DRASTICALLY DAMAGED.
