This will be my first yelp review because I'm just so disappointed with this place. I will say though before my previous lash tech left I honestly had no problems. The only thing was that they have canceled more than a couple of times, and I understand that things happen because I too have had to reschedule but it's a full-time routine at this point, and judging by the previous reviews I'm not the only one who is experiencing this...which is sad. Another issue is that the "receptionists" (a handful of them), have this passive-aggressive attitude towards you when they are asked valid questions that they simply can't explain because it's evident they don't know what they are doing. My previous lash tech had done a refill on me right before she left. She offered to do a last full set the following week before she completely left, unfortunately, she left earlier so they called me and we rescheduled but this time it was with a new tech. They scheduled it for about another week out. That appointment was fine. She ended up doing another refill on my lashes and I was supposed to come in 2 weeks later, but they canceled the appointment and moved it. Ok so now we're up to date because on Friday I go in for my appointment and the receptionist checked me in I went to wash my "lashes" (I say that because technically there were none they had all fallen out by now). The tech comes to get me and says "are you here for a refill"? And then walks me back to the front where the receptionist proceeds to pull up my information and tell me I must reschedule because I have less than 50% of my lashes on. I'm standing there in shock because no duh!? I have no lashes because you guys keep rescheduling!? And this is why I had to cancel my membership because what am I paying a monthly fee for plus one "free refill" but I can't even get into the studio twice a month because y'all continue to cancel it? This same receptionist proceeded to question me in front of everyone (The tech, herself, and another associate) if I canceled my membership there with them and I responded yes. she says "How? well you couldn't have because you started your membership in Brownsville and you would have to cancel it at that specific location". Again I'm shocked because that's false information and I have no clue what she's talking about. No surprise though she had the wrong information pulled up... Anyways so they push it back to Sunday and what do you know I'm getting a phone call the day of the appointment from yet another passive-aggressive receptionist trying to reschedule! I'm clearly iterated and expressed my frustrations to get the response in a very sarcastic tone, "Well things happen in life and I'm sorry that they have come up but I can compensate you for the inconvenience on the volumes you get". She also tells me that she can get in for today but it will be at 4:40. I said fine and she hangs up...then calls right back to say she has availability for 2:30 today if I'd like to come in earlier. I simply asked would this be with a master stylist because as a customer I can ask those questions. She proceeds with the attitude to tell me No, and how they only have one master stylist at the location, and how she already told me the master tech wouldn't be in hence why she had to reschedule today. To clarify she didn't tell me they only had one master stylist at the location, my bad I guess I should have known that! Lastly, this last set I got lasted more than 2 hours when usually it is only 1 hour or less. It was by far one of the most uncomfortable experiences for me. My head cramped up so many times. So now I too will be making that extra drive to a different location because this one is not worth it. read more

Autumn did my set and my refill. She's new but better than anyone I've ever worked with even at ALS. I had zero complaints both visits and will be returning. Thanks! read more

I've been getting my lashes filled with Brooke for several years and she is amazing. Her attention to detail is top notch. I've gone to other studios with other stylists and have been extremely happy with Brooke. She always cleans up the outgrown lashes to give you a fresh look each time. Also my lashes have never lasted so long as they do when she applies them! I hope she stays at this salon forever! read more

Cancelled my appointment after confirming that morning. Scheduled 2 weeks in advance for an event. they were beyond rude when I showed up on time and ready. Acted like it was my fault for not picking up a call from them an hour before hand when they had already confirmed that morning via text. I asked why she was being so rude and unapologetic for their mistake and she just got louder and in my face read more

I'm a customer forever!! I'm in love with my lashes and the service that I get from the front desk! They are knowledgeable and very eager to accommodate whatever I need! They always have the best music and the lash techs really know what they're doing!! read more

Have been a regular here for some time. Ever since new management, it's has been a nightmare. Several separate occasions, I have made my appointments over the phone. Being a organized individual, I write down my appointment put it down in my reminders. They either have completely changed the time of my appointment or moved me to someone else with out informing. It is completely unorganized and have thus decided it's no longer worth my time and money. Moving on. Do not get locked into a year contract with this place, you will regret it. They don't care about you or your time. It's an entirely new staff. Just do yourself a favor, go somewhere that manages their company with better customer service. read more

I got lashes for the first time a few months back and was pretty disappointed. First off, make sure to schedule with someone that has experience and good reviews because I did not. I got a new girl who was sweet, but hurt my eyes a few times and I later found out had glued some of my eyelashes in clumps. Not only that, but there were huge gaps on the inside and outer corner of my eyes. When I said something about it, she just said she "couldn't reach it." Honestly, if you're going to have new people that only half know what they're doing, they should charge half the price, not full price. I felt cheated of my money. I didn't feel I looked pretty, and when the girl at the desk asked how I liked them, I told her I wasn't sure because of the gaps and she said I could just fix it on my next (paid) touchup.....um ok. I saw other girls coming out with gorgeous lashes, so I know this place isn't all bad, but I just wish my $80 had made me feel pretty. oh, well. I just don't think lash extensions are for me. Just be careful who you get! read more

Let me first start out by saying the management here is 5 star. I personally did not have a great experience because I had a bad reaction to the glue my lashes just would not stay on. But management went out of the way to try to get to the root of the problem and fix it. Unfortunately we did not get it fixed and i had to end my membership im so sad about it because the stylist here are amazing especially Miranda! She is great! Her work is amazing and shes so fun to talk to! Highly recommended her. I do recommended this place try a new lash glue, ive gotten lash extentions for years and never had this problem. read more

I love love love my lashes and I love love love amazing lash studio. I see Kathleen who does an amazing job! have short natural lashes but when these bad boys are on- I feel unstoppable! All the lash girls are trained, respectful, and down to earth! I've been to other lash businesses around the area, but this is by far the very best. I'm a member and I appreciate the discounts that come along with it. I trust and buy all the amazing lash studio products- my favorite is the sexy, portable, red lash brush! I have been going here for a couple of months now and I will never go to another location. Everytime I go here I am treated with respect. Brooke is the best stylist there! She always makes me feel comfortable. She takes her time and does the best job everytime I go. It is definitely worth it to get the membership! The front desk staff is very enjoyable to speak with and is also very transparent with the policies. Would definitely recommend to anyone! read more

Definitely recommend this location as soon as I called to set up a appointment at this location because the previous location I had went to wasn't the best so I decided to switch to a different location and give lash extensions another try... Michael at the front desk answered my phone call He was SUPER HELPFUL and understanding! He educated me on so much about lash extensions that the previous location didn't do if he ever decided to become a lash tech I would definitely go to him, he had such a bubbly personality and made me feel so comfortable when I came in for my appointment! THANK YOU MICHAEL FOR ALL YOUR HELP !! And to the Lash tech Rose she also did such an amazing job and also made me feel so comfortable!! Thank you ladies definitely coming back ! read more

First I will say that I have enjoyed my lashes. I have had 3 different stylists. Some are better/faster than others but I enjoy the overall experience with the stylists and this is the reason they get 2 stars. I am not very impressed with management of policies. My appointment a few weeks ago was canceled on the morning of my appointment because the entire staff was sick with the flu. I was very kind because I feel like illness is a legitimate reason to cancel an appointment last minute. I was asked if I wanted to schedule at a location that is harder for me to get to. That was ok with me to drive further because I needed my lashes filled but it was still an inconvenience for me. A few days ago I had to cancel my appointment on the morning of the appointment because my daughter had the flu. At the end of the day I was charged a $28 fee because of a "no show". While there is a 24 hour cancelation policy, I definitely do not understand penalizing a customer for an illness. Am I supposed to drag my child who has the flu in with me? Also, I did not receive a credit when my appointment was canceled last minute by Amazing Lash studio. I have asked for a manager to consider refunding me twice and have not received a call back. When I asked the front desk about this issue, I was told that they were lenient on their cancellation policy when their stylists were sick but have since become very strict with it again. I find it weird that a business would be lenient on their policy when it is convenient for them but they do not seem to be willing to grant me the same courtesy. I think this policy is unreasonable and as a mom of 2 (soon to be 3) children I can't risk having almost 30 extra dollars (on top of what I am already paying) charged to me every time I have a child that gets sick last minute. I will be canceling my enrollment. There are too many options in Austin for eyelash extensions at this point. read more

I have been coming here for years. It's very affordable and they do a really great job. Brooke is amazing, when she does my lashes they always stay on longer and I get a more full look without doing volumes. read more

Very disappointed in this location and never even got my lashes done. Called several times and used the website to set an appointment and never heard back. Finally got a hold of someone and scheduled an appointment for my first set of lashes, traveled 30 minutes to the appointment just to find out whoever scheduled me didn't actually book my appointment, so I had to turn around and go to my event lash-less. No apology of any kind and nothing to offer to make up for it. Perhaps a different location would do better. read more

I had an amazing experience with Miranda. Not only do my lashes look exactly how I wanted them to she was so much fun to hang out with. I was so nervous to get them, mostly because you have to lay there for a long time with a stranger. Miranda was great! We had an amazing conversation and the time flew by fast! It's hard for me to stay still for that long but our conversations were so fun, and I can't wait to go back to see her! She was on time for my appointment and I left with no questions because she filled me in on everything I needed to know! She really knows her stuff. I strongly suggest seeing her. read more

I had an awesome experience here! It was welcoming & clean. The person I had was funny & kind & did an awesome job! Sharon is great and super sweet ! I am very pleased with the way my lashes look. I am definitely coming back to her!

I've been to the southpark meadows location a total of 5 times and the only stylists that gave me a good experience were Christy and Kirsten. After my appointment yesterday I just decided to cancel my membership because I was taken 20 minutes after my scheduled time, the stylist was so rough on my eyes when applying the gel pads/ other necessary pieces, and she didn't take the full hour to fill my lashes so there is a huge gap on my left eye making it look like it's been about 2 weeks since my last fill when it's been less than 24 hours. read more

Cancelled my membership and now they won't return any of my phone calls even though I have credit at their location to still get my eyelashes done. Update: finally answered my phone calls, got an appointment drove 45+ minutes to their location for them to tell me my credit was refunded even though no one told me of this and they specifically said I would not get a refund. MIA, provided me with the Worst customer service I ever had in my life! I've never written a bad review but I could not let this establishment continue to let their customers down. I have more respect for thieves than I do for them. DO NOT COME HERE! I'm begging you run the other way. After getting off the phone with MIA I literally cried, I felt so unappreciated and undervalued as a customer. I've been a loyal customer for years and time and time again they have continued to disappoint me, but like a bad relationship I continued to go back (for various reasons).Today was the last straw, I cannot continue to pay for their mistakes and be treated as if I do not matter, Im just another number. PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS, take your business elsewhere. Please trust me, I'm saving you time and money. read more

Bad customer service. Receptionist rude and didn't seem to care about my issue. Was rude when I asked to speak to manager. Have been to get eyelashes a few times, every time I go, lashes completely fall out on one eye making me look crazy. I spend a lot of money for the lashes for them not to care and be rude. Don't waste time going to this location. read more

I drove 45 minutes in traffic to try this place out that a coworker recommended to me. So I get there and was told they couldn't do anything because I wasn't booked for a removal, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!? My appointment was booked wrong after I was told I needed to have my old lashes removed since this was my first time at this studio. The receptionist apologized but I could tell she didn't really care. I'm blown honestly blown away! She didn't care to try and help me figure something out, nothing. Pitiful customer service. read more

So I've been doing my lashes for years and decided to give this place a shot. I noticed a few things: first, for having just opened in the morning the studio seemed dirty; the stylists- and I mean this most graciously- didn't appear to be those that work in an industry of beauty, they looked disheveled, none of them had their lashes done and I'm sorry but none of them appeared to take pride in how they look. I found that to be quite interesting considering their line of work. Not trying to hate here. Just stating observations. Next, the private room for the procedure was underwhelming: it looked sad and it was. It was more like a gurney than a table to lay down on, no blanket was available or offered and it was by far the most physically uncomfortable lash table I have ever laid on... I thought I wouldn't make it through the session from the discomfort, the music, how cold it was, the lack of pillow, etc. I'm giving three stars because my lashes look okay but I will update once I see how well they hold up. I also wasn't given a lash wand as is customary and complimentary in every lash studio I have ever been to. Not sure about this place... it's like they tried to do European Wax Center but for lashes except it isn't really working out too well. read more

I had been going to amazing lash studio for over 2 years! I have had a multitude of horrible technicians put lashes on me until I found Lisa! She is the ONLY one I let touch my eyelashes for over a year every two week on the dot like clock work and EVERY time I walk out with bomb eyelashes. Amazing lash's front end customer service is horrible it took a month to get my membership canceled because there was no communication between the associate I spoke to and the manager. I had to email them multiple times before I got a response that my membership has indeed been canceled. After I found out Lisa left and now working at Swamp Mermaid Beauty Project I was forced to find another lash stylist, which I was very uncomfortable with. ALS recently implemented new "volume" lashes to which the new technician I had to get did to not know how to create or place them and are way too expensive! I paid $100 for a CLUMPY MINI REFILL WITH THE NEW VOLUMES. If you ask me that is ridiculous and not worth it. 1 star for amazing lash studio. 5 stars for Lisa! read more

Delisha is amazing. I've never had lashes they stayed on so long. She has a soft touch and is very relaxing.

Awesome work! I love Brooke my stylist! But on occasion if she's not available everyone else I've been to does excellent work. My only complaint is the scheduling, I've driven up there twice and haven't been able to fulfill my appointment. Once was a scheduling error and once the stylist was out for the day. A phone call would have been appreciated before hand but otherwise no complaints. Front desk is always smiling and friendly and the fuzzy blankets are a plus. read more

I usually go with a different company to get my lashes done but a friend of mine insisted I give this place a try. I figured since its was only $80 for a full set on your first visit I would give it a shot. To begin, the front desk was clean and staff was welcoming. My esthetician came out to introduced herself and was very nice. When she took me to the back I was surprised at how small and "clinic-like" the room looked. The table wasn't even comfortable and neither was the process of getting my lashes done. She started by putting tape under my eyes... Tape! So uncomfortable and my eyes started getting irritated. I figured this was just the way they did things here so I kept my mouth shut. It wasn't until she started gluing that my eyes really started burning (something that NEVER happens at my usual place) so I told her. She then grabs some eye drops, gave my eyes a little squirt then continued. The more she went on the more my eyes hurt! After complaining again she finally decides to get some "sensitive glue". Thank Goodness! Finally some relief! After that my eyes no longer burned, and I eventually passed out. I woke up 2 hrs later, with my eyelashes stuck together. And eyes burning again. She gave me more eye drops, separated my lashes and finally I was able to stand up and move around. When I looked in the mirror, I was too distracted by my bloodshot eyes. There was barely any whites in there! That's how red they were... I don't know if it's the type of glue they use or the tape that did it. Anyway, I just wanted to get out of there, at the front desk I mentioned how much my eyes were burning, showed them how terrible my eyes looked and they just said, "ok did you take a look at our membership?" What?! Did they even hear what I said?! I will not be returning here. Even though it was cheaper than my usual place, the lashes were not worth all that pain! read more

I love the way Anna Mandevil works on my lashes she's amazing! I had them done somewhere else and they damaged my lashes. So to come to a professional who has been babying my lashes to work them up to a set that works for my lashes is amazing. She recommended a couple great products to take care of my lashes at home and I have to say I have healthier longer lashes! Thank you Anna! I would recommend her to all my friends and my family! read more

The only reason I am giving this location five stars and will come back to this location is because of Shelbi. I came the day before my birthday for a refill and had Daniella as a stylist. I told her exactly what I wanted the style of cute/gorgeous which goes from short to long to short and very thick, she assured me she could do this. She took an hour and a half when the appointment is only supposed to take an hour. I had just gotten my lashes done two weeks prior so there wasn't that much work to be done. After an hour and a half of sitting there I stand up to see that my lashes look like they hadn't even been done and are all the longest length not thick at all with gaps. I ask her why there are gaps and she told me that my lashes had just thinned and she put on as many as she could, she told me to buy the lash serum. I was upset left and called for them to be fixed the day after my bday. I came in and was with Shelbi. She sat me down asked me why I was unhappy. She then showed me my chart of what they've used on me and what lengths and thicknesses asking me how I would like them. She offered to take them all off and start over if I would like, or she could fill in what wasn't done. Letting me know because they were just refilled it might now look much different because they always put a lash on every natural lash i have. I had her fill in what wasn't done. I was shocked at the difference that she made. Daniela did not do anything that I asked and idk if she's new but she left gaps everywhere didn't put lashes on half my lashes when I had more than enough lashes to make mine full and beautiful. Shelbi made me her loyal customer and I will go back to this location now. She did such a great job im very happy ! read more

I have been going to them off and on for years! Sometimes your lashes need a break! Now that I want to re-sign up, I was told I was under restriction or something like that!! So I can't be seen by any location! Not sure what I did wrong but that's horrible!! read more

I gave the one star to the sweet girl who did my lashes, but the experience with management was exasperating and quite the opposite of good customer service. I would never ever go back. My lashes started coming off immediately even though I wasn't wearing makeup or using water anywhere near them. I couldn't go in to have them repaired because I had them put on for a music conference and was committed to a full schedule. i called as soon as I could and was told that unless I came back within the first 3 days, I was out of luck or would need to pay for fills. I already spent close to $200 for these crappy lashes and that's a whole other issue. I had a gift card that was given to me at Xmas 2019, given to me by my mother. Then covid happened. I was already immuno compromised and then ended up having to go into the hospital for open heart surgery in 2021. Point is, I held onto the gift card and called the store in advance to ask if I would be able to use a gift card that was from 2019. They kindly assured me that it was no problem. When I handed them the card after the service, they tell me there is only 52 cents on it. That's right, 52 cents. The card clearly said it was for a full set of lashes and marked $89.99. There is no way there could be that amount remaining if indeed I used it for a full set of lashes. I definitely didn't use it at H-E-B. I'm upset and disappointed with this business and as a small business owner, I know it's tough. But customer service like this will surely put you out of business. read more
