Unbeatable view from the rooftop bar on the 31st floor! Truly amazing! I have been to quite some bars, but this one is by far the most amazing one because of the height I believe.

The staff at the Ibis central recommended Alto for a nice dinner. We took a cab and took the elevator to the 31st floor! What a beautiful elegant restaurant with a majestic view! We got seated without a reservation! We ordered a three piece course with a nice bottle of wine! Everything was so good! We couldn't believe our luck to dine in such a nice restaurant! After our meal, we were told we could go up stairs to an observation floor with a full bat! We had drinks while taking in the view! Epic!

Venue has an amazing 360 view of Hong Kong and the Harbour! Sitting on the 31st floor in Causeway Bay gives you a great sunset! Recommend going around sunset time. The drinks are ok and the food is also ok. I ordered fondue as appetizer which was decent, and Sous-vide chicken breast as my main dish, which was not so great. The chicken dish was overall bland and flavorless and the "chicken breast" contained a chicken leg, which was weird. Definitely recommend going to the place purely for the view and the modern decor!

This place is a little hard to find because you have to walk all the way to the end of a street with a dead end and it's hidden in the corner. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. The service was pretty good by Hong Kong standards. I ordered the scramble eggs with BBQ pork over rice and it came out in less than ten minutes! The dish looked amazing and the portion was pretty big, although I had no trouble finishing the whole thing. Hong Kong's scrambled eggs are on some other level. This spot makes them runny, and although I usually don't like my eggs runny, they tasted pretty amazing here. Doused with sweet, light soy sauce and succulent pieces of famous Chinese BBQ pork on a bed of rice, this was definitely one of the most comforting and satisfying meals here. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area! I have a new love for scrambled eggs :)

The creamy chicken macaroni soup with ham and abalone strips (and side of soft eggs with toast) made me feel like a kid again. The beef and egg sandwich, and spam and egg sandwich were exactly as expected; they came out hot and fast and in generous portions. Drinks were great too, especially the lemon tea served with real citrus slices (both hot and iced were solid), and the milk tea was as authentic as it gets. Value felt fair for the area. From the menu, tea/breakfast-style sets sit around HK$40-46, lunch plates are roughly HK$52-64, and most drinks are in the HK$18-24 range (with a few around HK$26-28), so you can order a full spread without the bill getting out of hand. Good to know: they only accept cash and Octopus, so don't count on credit cards. Overall, an easy 4 stars for a dependable, grounding first stop.

Several staff speak English but we weren't given any English menus so we relied on Google Translate. Like the majority of cha chaan tengs, service here is quick! We didn't particularly feel rushed when deciding what to order but the restaurant wasn't ever full so maybe it's different during peak hours. When you're done eating, pay at the front. You can also grab some of the baked goods to-go at the front. We ordered the classics to share. The Pineapple Bun was so good that i ordered another one to go. The crust is crunchy and sweet, with a fluffy inside...this definitely could be in the top running for best buns in the city. The scrambled eggs were buttery and silky, very different from regular American scrambled eggs. And finally, the macaroni soup had a very simple, clean broth but was very flavorful. If you need something to warm you up, this is perfect. Overall, delicious meal and I left so satisfied. This was the perfect end to our Hong Kong trip and I can't wait to be back!

So yeah, being that I don't speak Cantonese, it seemed to annoy them. But we managed to communicate anyway, mainly by me pointing at pictures on the wall and them replying to me in Cantonese like I would magically understand despite clearly not being able to speak it. The beef flank rice is a large meal. And it's delicious. And it comes with a seaweed soup (which they somehow managed to get across to me after I mentioned that I wanted to order a side of seaweed soup--I thought this was very nice of them, bc they could've easily just charged me for the soup anyway and leave me with two orders of it). The pretense is non-existent and locals (including myself!) seem to love it here. So like many noodle spots in HK, this place is fairly small. No big tables for 5+ but quite a few small'ish round tables that are good for solo eats or the invaluable food companion. The aroma coming from the semi-open kitchen should be enough inspiration for folks to know what they want upon arrival, but just in case they have the menus outlined along the wall. An easy way to start? Try a wonton and beef brisket with your choice of noodles. The wontons are somewhat pillowy in texture and full of flavor while the beef brisket is braised well while maintaining a perfectly chewy bite. The noodle variety is good, with egg / rice noodles winning over the crowd though I feel the e-fu noodles take the cake. Lastly, do not sleep on the beef tendon. It's practically butter when done right. Chui Hing does fancy itself as a HK style cafe, so other dishes like congee, fried fish skin, fried rice, may appear on the menu, focus on what to stack in your bowl instead. The staff is really helpful and welcoming.

Although it was busy on my first visit, it didn't feel overwhelming, nor did I feel rushed and herded by staff. Orders are done through the QR code on the table, but my phone service was wonky that day and one of the employees was very nice and took my order. That did lead me to panic ordering the HOTTEST egg toast, but that's my own fault and I surely paid the consequence. I like spicy food, but that lacked flavor and only burned. They have a big menu, including vegetarian options and famous HK bakery items like egg tarts and pineapple bread. The regular egg toast is delicious, a heaping serving of creamy eggs over thick toast. Then of course I had to try the famous Hong Kong Milk tea, which was also delicious. It's made with a full bodied black tea and has a rich earthy flavor. No sugar added so it's not sweet unless you make it so. When I was finished, I paid at the register and was on my way.

We got a char siu macaroni soup, bolo bao, and truffle scrambled egg toast. There was a lot of egg on the toast but the truffle tasted more like a dark chocolate crumble? Not sure if that's what it was supposed to be but still appetizing. Macaroni soup was delicious. I just enjoy pasta in soup. Lol. The bolo bao was a bit of a disappointment due to the bread being cold. I don't know if there was an option to just tell them we wanted it hot. Also ordered Hong Kong milk tea but the waiter misheard even though he repeated it and sent a sweet tea instead. Not bad for a comfort food spot.

But for me it's different. A Hong Kong cafe is like heaven for a stoner who has the munchies (just to make it clear, I've never been stoned. At least not for a long time!) But I do see the appeal for someone with these cravings. Everything comes with gravy or some type of tomato sauce. They make Coke Cola ice creams floats. French toast squares with ice cream. Funky right? But we ordered: Baked Pork Chop: this was a decent version. I think one more pork chop in the entree would have made it complete. The tomato sauce with the rice was a nice blend. Mixed grill: this was my wife's entree and she didn't like it much. She said it was ok. Flat noodles: that's what it's called in the menu but I know it as Chow Fun. I always like this dish and Kam Kee makes it decent. Service was proficient and friendly. My wife said it's a three star eatery but what takes this place into four category is they put effort into the design or ambience of the cafe whereas many places don't invest in that.
