The pasta :( For reference, the clump of noodles is about the size of a medium sized hand's palm.

Food: the cheese plate and complimentary bread baskets are really, really fantastic, and my husband found the veal parmesan to be excellent both in terms of taste and quality. However, my pasta was a disaster. I ordered a ditalini pasta with vegetables and the dish was... so strange. The portion was offensively small, and the sauce was completely flavorless. I ate the entire dish in about four spoonfuls, and had to order delivery McDonald's afterwards. Atmosphere: gorgeous in a somewhat dated way. The views of Hong Kong Island are excellent and the ceilings are very high, but the interior decor is all glass and reflective surfaces. Totally fine, but not particularly my style. Service: excellent! The service was really spectacular: attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. I feel bad giving this restaurant a 3 star review because it is very lovely and some of the food was quite good, but the pasta was so ridiculous and so overpriced I can't bring myself to give a fourth star.

I had the pleasure of dining in the private room on the 103rd floor with work colleagues while in HK for a conference December 2017. The service, views and ambience was amazing. When I say they cater to your needs...they cater. Someone needed and iphone charger, no problem. I needed gluten free options and they gave me gluten free rolls. Presentation as you can see is very cool amd interesting. I had risotto for the first time and it was great. I can't afford this dinner everyday but the experience is worth every penny.

Zoe is amazing. The entire staff caters to your every needs and is nothing short of just the most amazing experience you'd ever have. As a guest of the Ritz, it is not surprising that the Ritz will be associated with this restaurant. Actually, it's more than just a restaurant. It's home away from home where memories are made, memories remembered.

Delicious food, amazing view. We had the wine where they poured it from a gigantic bottle. Quite impressive, they had a contraption to pour the wine. Mediterranean red tuna This is prepared two ways: 1. Fried - The tuna was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. 2. Poached - delicious but I preferred the fried type more The view was quite something, one of the best views in HK.

Tosca offers unparalleled views of Hong Kong while you dine. Located on the 102nd floor, of the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Tosca serves up fine Italian cuisine. We had come to Tosca one afternoon for a relaxing treat on a weekday. A three or four course meal is offered with prices ranging from 500-600HKD. You can have your choice of antipastos, pastas, main courses, and desserts. There are some selections that require additional charge. We made our choices and the wait begins. After our choices were made with the staff, another comes over with a selection of breads for us to pick from. I choose two and my partner choose another 2. Accompanied with some oil and balsamic vinaigrette, we dug in. All our selections were hard beyond belief. I was afraid of knocking my partner our trying to break a piece off. haha =x It was surprising to us, but thats not going to ruin our meal. We just stopped eating and continued waiting. First course, lovely. Squid on top of some peas and croutons. The dish was a good kickstart to our meal. Second dish, a very bold star pasta with lobster in all its goodness. The entree, pork if I remember correctly. It was....ehhh...not that memorable at all. We were so full by dessert time, all I did was dabble a bit here and there. The staff here were very accommodating and attentive. We were initially seated on one of the couches, but they could see my discomfort as it was right under a vent, and offered a table right next to the windows to us. Very nice staff indeed. For the price, I would expect better execution. The bread wasn't great and the entree could have used a bit more love.

I was excited to try Carbone's Hong Kong location since my whole family love to go to their NYC…read morelocation. Luckily it was much easier to reserve a table in Hong Kong than the one in NYC. First off it was kind of hiding inside a commercial building. It required an uphill climb before reaching there. If you are planning to take your elderly friends or parents, I strongly encouraged taking a taxi there. We were greeted by a friendly hostess as soon as we stepped out of the elevator. The whole place was elegant and tasteful arts were hanging on the walls throughout the whole dinning room. It was lavishly decorated. The staffs were attentive and friendly. However I found it funny that the majority of the staffs only spoke English. It was kind of ironic that we had to speak English in a Cantonese speaking island. Of course we had to order Caesar Salad and Spicy Rigatoni because they are the two popular dishes at Carbon. Caesar salad was made in front of you and the waiter told us he flown to their NYC location to master the skill of making this salad. I was ensured everything was as good as their NYC location. The salad was fresh and crunchy; it was a combination of Baby Romaine lettuce, garlicky croutons and shaved cheese tossed in a rich tangy creamy dressing. Every bite was covered with a right amount of freshly made flavorful dressing. The mouth watering Spicy Rigatoni was so irresistible. The creamy spicy tomato sauce blended beautifully with the pasta. It was so delicious and addictive. I would not leave Carbon without eating its Spicy Rigatoni. We also tried the Veal Parmesan but it was kind of a disappointment because the meat was too dry and tough. The saving grace was that it was still full of flavor. We did have a good dinning experience there. I think it is a good restaurant for a romantic dinner or special occasions. It was as pricy as their NYC location but the food wasn't as good though. I just couldn't resist to compare both places. So for all the Carbon fans, it would be nice to visit this location because you might have a different opinion about it.

Food: 4.25 stars Service/atmosphere: 4.5 stars Value: 3 stars Overall: 4 stars Recommendations: bananas a la rum, rib eye Diana, baked clams, vodka sauce rigatoni On my latest visit to Carbone, I came for the set lunch. It's enough for two people but if you are really hungry you may want to order another appetizer. The set comes with your choice of a starter or pasta, a main, and a choice for dessert. We opted for the rigatoni with vodka sauce, the ribeye and bananas a la rum. 1) Rigatoni with vodka sauce- coming to a American Italian restaurant and not ordering this seemed like a shame. Good thing is that the dish is down well. The vodka sauce is nice and creamy and the pasta is cooked well and had a little bite to it. 2) Rib eye Diane - The rib eye is cooked and served in a really luscious mushroom sauce. The sauce really makes the dish. The steak itself was slightly a bit tough and had a few cuts with too much fat. However, I did really enjoy this dish. 3) Bananas a la rum- my favorite thing I had. Bananas are flambéd in a rum sauce and then poured over three scoops of ice cream and cake. Vanilla cookies are crumbled over the dessert to provide some texture and crunch for the dessert. This is really delicious and is a must order.

So calming with beautiful hints of turquoise, well-suited after a long day of work. Not too dark or dim, and no loud music to talk over. My best friend and I came for dinner on a Thursday night, so the restaurant was not very full at all. The two of us were originally seated at a table for four and considered switching to a smaller table for two in the middle of the room, but thankfully did not, as the supplementary table proved useful when it came to sharing dishes. We ordered the following: 1. Grigliata di polpo con spinaci in balsamico e olio di olive --- Grilled octopus with spinach and citrus slices, in balsamic vinegar & olive oil (HKD158) 2. Spigola alle erbe al forno --- Oven-baked salt-crusted sea bass (HKD458) And of course... 3. Lombo di agnello in crosta al forno --- Roasted lamb chops (HKD418) The polpo (octopus) was polpo-licious! Hands down, one of the best octopus dishes I've ever tried (one of my other favorites is the Octopus Provencal at The Smoking Goat in San Diego). It was grilled to perfection, still tender (not rubbery) and well-seasoned. The salad was light, refreshing, and provided a nice entrance to our main courses. The sea bass came out first on a cart, and a waitstaff began to take off the baked salt layer. She was also about to serve the fish - aka remove the meat for us - but we politely asked if we could do it ourselves. For the lamb, we divided it between the two of us, vegetables and all. The lamb was still as good as I remembered having it the first time. Upon request, they brought us additional sauce for the lamb. The sea bass was baked with thyme and rosemary stuffed inside - it smelled wonderful without overwhelming the taste. Excellent preparation by the kitchen! I am easily overwhelmed by a lot of choices. So when I saw the dessert menu, it took me almost 15 minutes to make up my mind. Was I feeling tiramisu? I did see someone order it the last time I was at Gradini and 90% of it was cream... The apple pie with vanilla gelato, tempting... Earl Grey Panna Cotta (HKD80), how intriguing! While I haven't had my fair share of good panna cotta, I do love anything Earl Grey. I have found, however, that Earl Grey-flavored items can be a hit or a miss, nothing in between. Was I willing to take a risk? In the end, yes, and it was worth it. The presentation was nothing too impressive, BUT the taste was heart-melting. Absolutely addicting - my friend could not stop scraping the bottom of the bowl, "It's so good, Celine! Can't stop, won't stop!" she said, "Aren't you glad you picked the Earl Grey Panna Cotta?" Yes, very glad. While you can definitely count on the quality of the food, I found the waitstaff not entirely up-to-par. When it came to asking about wines, they weren't too knowledgeable about the pairings, or what would best suit our selected dishes. The service was there, but the knowledge was a bit lacking (would consider knocking off a star...), though not a big hindrance to the overall dining experience.

Personally, I don't like coming to LKF to have dinner or lunch or whatever. This place is primarily a steak place, though they have a few other things to choose from as well. I believe lunch times they offer a AYCE sort of option, where you get a main and then the salad bar is buffet. I've been to it before and it's pretty good. I've heard however since COVID they have changed it somewhat. The other night I came and got the seafood guazzetto, which is about $300 HKD, and has a bunch of different things such as fish, octopus, clams, etc. Lots of seafood essentially. Other things I tried included the sides of brussel sprouts, mushrooms, bruschetta, some of my brother's sirloin steak, some of the fish of the day (halibut?). Overall, the food is quite nice. I will say, they tend to use a bit too much butter/oil here. I know this is kind of true whenever you eat out, but here it is definitely noticeable.
