She began to yell at me and scold me in front of my toddler for a good 5 minutes. I was super uncomfortable and my son was scared. What a weird "business professional" to feel comfortable yelling at a customer in front of her child. My previous review stated facts, let's make it a more positive experience for customers instead of trying to scare people into leaving a good review. PREVIOUS REVIEW- 3 Stars - I like this laundromat but it's almost impossible to get laundry done here in a reasonable amount of time. The weekends are understandably busy but then during the week the employees who wash the drop off laundry take up all the washers and dryers. It's pretty frustrating. You end up being stuck here waiting for a washer, counter space to fold and a dryer (especially a dryer). They leave the clothes just sitting in the dryer or washer and get to it when they get to it. Even though they notice customers waiting. There has to be another system for drop off laundry, it's not fair to walk in customers. Or, this might as well be just a drop-a-load spot.

Speaking of staff, the lady that was cleaning offered to help me with anything I needed. I told her it was my first time being at the laundromat so she offered to help me. While everything was pretty self-explanatory, I just wanted to point out the amazing customer service. I wasn't there very long and I'm very impressed with the laundromat. The music selection is pretty amazing (it was early 2000s R&B music when I went), and I just really like the whole ambiance. Parking is a little tricky; it is in a small shopping center with other businesses so you can park on the street if there is no parking inside. I came on a weekday so there was plenty of parking for me.

I've dried them three times, and they're still wet? That's ridiculous! I prefer the card system at Sierra Madre Laundry because it has an app that alerts my phone when the wash and dryer are done. Additionally, their dryers actually thoroughly dry clothes the first time. And I can add funds on the app and check my balance. However, the kiosk here couldn't read my card to display my balance. Perhaps it's time for an upgrade in the POS system. And seriously, it's high time they installed a working air conditioning system!

I noticed that the machines were clean and ready for use. As I've been there before, there are times when it is busy. They have regular customers that I'm sure have their regular days. It's nice that they have a large parking lot in front of the location so that you can kind of see whether or not they are busy. They have coin machines for change or you can purchase a laundry card. There is also a machine that has laundry soap softener etc. they also have specialized services available for diapers and large items such as comforters. This location is just as friendly as the location on Colorado Boulevard, near the intersection of Colorado and Allen Avenue. This location also has some nice boutique food establishments nearby. Great to grab a cup of coffee and sandwich while waiting. Clean machines and friendly service with coffee nearby...a perfect laundry day!

Tends to get busy on the weekends, so I like to come in late night or very early morning when it's less busy. Conveniently located next to a donut shop and market with a cafe if you want to get some coffee while you wait for your laundry.
