Do the desserts contain animal gelatin?

Well, I checked out their pastries, and it would seem that no there's no gelatin in their pastries and that their pastries are a cream and compote filling.

Do they serve halal meat?

Well, they do have pizzeria and what you can get on the pizza is a wide variety of different topics. Halal meat? Idk for sure, I would think most likely.

How have I not been here before? I've seen this restaurant and have heard good things, and finally…read moredecided to drop by for lunch. Located right in downtown Burbank, you walk in and order at the counter, you get a number, and they bring the food out to your table when ready. It's very casual, plenty of seating inside and outside. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, which is a huge deal and very rare nowadays. They even had a new happy hour special. Who doesn't love a $3 beer with lunch? As for the food, I was thoroughly impressed! Pastrami melt was amazing! Full of delicious pastrami, melted cheese, and pickles. So delicious! Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. I can't wait to come back and try their burgers.

They also offer delivery from Grub Hub. The menus do not have prices on them. Thats one thing I dont like. I understand prices go up and down and they probally dont want to be printing menus. Anyways, lots of sandwiches, salads, burgers, etc. Everything is fresh. We went with a BBQ chicken sandwich. It cost about $20.00. They forgot my bacon. So they brought 2 slices out on the side. We also had a pastrami sandwich. Both came with side salads. Everything was delicious. Both came to about $50 with tip. Service was just okay. We came on the weekend, later in the evening. Everyone was in slow motion. I am certain thats not the norm.

Food 1000/10 Service 10/10…read moreAmbiance 10/10 Okay I just finished literally eating my food and I usually wait to write reviews when I'm alone but this deserved immediate attention because WTF! Okay so I also got something else called suchi or chuchi sandwich with chimichurri sauce and clearly we didn't get a picture. To begin with it's located on the corner of the street so parking everywhere you walk in and already know you're going to get quality fresh food and sure enough the service and food and vibes were immaculate I'm for sure coming back very soon. They have an amazing menu stop by and check it out urself.

Been here several times and the food here is good. Most of the people are nice, though I've seen…read moreothers have issues. The issue is they are very overpriced. I use to take this as the cost of supporting mom and pop shops as they tend to have slimmer margins than a corporate entity. But it's gotten pretty ridiculous. Sandwiches are expensive and recently had a bad experience with buying cookies. They charged $20 for a dozen cookies. Nothing special, just regular chocolate chip cookies. The last time I purchased a dozen, several years back. it was $9 for a dozen. That's expensive too, but again, took it as supporting small business. And back then you'd get them on a little styrofoam plate with some saran wrap around it. This made it look somewhat presentable. Now they just throw them in a regular old ziplock bag like you're at a bake sale for an elementary school. They have also gone the way of a lot of counter service places in that they've added a tip line. And there's no way to bypass on their system, so you have to make a big deal about it or just tip no matter what. I've always been a good tipper, but the tipping culture has gotten out of control. I just can't justify $75 for a couple sandwiches, 2 small bags of chips, and a dozen cookies. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
