Booking and paying online was pretty easy and their customer service is friendly and accommodating. Couldn't be happier with the way my home looks! I immediately got them to keep coming back every other week. They are about $10 bucks more than I used to pay, but honestly, the reliability of the housekeepr and the awesome job she does in my home definitely makes it worth it. I don't even want to give it one star, but I have no option. This is NOT based on a cleaning because I never have them the opportunity to come to our house. Let me explain. Maybe I'm the only person in Houston that requires I meet the person who's coming into MY house when I'm not home. The owners both told me that's not their typical order of business to meet the people whos houae they are cleaning and seemed shocked I was even asking to meet the woman that would be in our house. Thanks to Klsie & Kayla, my house is smelling so fresh and so clean clean! About 5 years ago, our first experience with a cleaning/maid service left us with a $200+ plumbing bill. What? You mean, you're not supposed to pour dirty water down pipes older than your grandma?! Regardless, it's taken me awhile to forget my frustration and risk having someone else clean the house. I booked a cleaning for my parent's house as a Christmas gift for my mom. They were having a 10% off promotion so I splurged for the supreme clean . Since she does a ton of art projects as a hobby, there is always paint chips, glitter, scraps all over the place. We also light a lot of candles and incense, so some of the walls and doorways were covered in smoke residue. She never has time to clean the house so I thought it'd be nice to give her a break (because I def didn't want to do it myself) Online booking was super easy and they even came early (huge plus for me). They left us a jar of jam also :) What a cute idea! Even though I read everything included in the supreme clean, I was still kind of amazed at how they got to everything! I have never cleaned my oven or microwave before, but after the cleaning, I now know what they're supposed to look like. And they got all the soot off the doors and ever got the glitter out of the floor (glitter is one stubborn SOB). I didn't know a whole lot about what to expect hiring cleaners from a service such as this when I started using Already Maid a little more than a year ago. We'd used Handy before and had some great cleaners and some awful ones. Enter Already Maid. The several times I used AM, they were reliable in coming as scheduled, never broke or damaged anything, and were trustworthy as far as being in our home alone. Our home always looked better after they left. And although we've switched companies for now, I can't say I would never try AM again. We only hire people to clean when we're hosting a big event or when we're out of town a lot and there just aren't enough hours. I'd say we might have our house cleaned by professionals 4 or 5 times a year. I chose AM because as another reviewer mentioned, they are priced the lowest of the reputable companies I researched. We've never been home while they cleaned, and the first time they did a bang up job. I was so happy I didn't hesitate to hire them again the next time. That time the did a good, but not great job. The rest of the cleans were all acceptable, but not wonderful until the last one that was really unsatisfactory. It looked like they did a total rush job. The bathroom floors were still dirty. Nothing was thoroughly cleaned, just a quick wipe down. After that, I'd had enough. We don't like to be home while the cleaners are there because we get in the way and can't really do anything, so we need a company that we can trust to get the job done right time after time, without needing a walk through every time. To be fair, I never brought the concerns about the last cleaning to their attention, so I can't comment on the customer service if you're not satisfied. They might have sent someone to fix it, but to me it's just too much hassle. And since I'd already noticed a steady decline in quality, I just wrote it off and moved on to another company to try my luck there. read more

My parents are coming to visit this weekend and I wanted my apartment to be spotless. This was my first time using a cleaning service and I could not be happier with the service. The maid went above and beyond what I expected. I live in a garage apartment in the heights (built around the 1940s). Even though I keep things relatively tidy, the actual house can get dirty very quickly because of the age of the apartment. In the past, I would spend a whole day of my weekend trying to clean (mop, scrub the bathroom, do the dishes because I don't have a dishwasher, etc) and it never seemed clean enough. Not to mention, since I don't live in the bottom half of the apartment - it's a hallway & staircase leading up to my apartment - I let it get messier than it should have been - some leaves had blown in and were on the floor hallway, and some of my outdoor tools were scattered around. I met the maid during my lunch hour to give her my key, and she did a quick scan of my place, told me it would take her about an hour because my place was small. Even though dishes weren't included in the package I purchased, she offered to do my dishes (she said it wasn't a big deal because there were so few of them, but I considered it to be a good amount). She also offered to sweep my downstairs hallway, even though I told her it wasn't necessary and I never expected her to clean downstairs. I came home to find my downstairs hallway SPOTLESS and I've never seen my bathroom so immaculate. I've tenaciously scrubbed my bathtub many times in the past, but I could never remove some of the grime and stains. She somehow removed all of the stains and the bathtub is now sparkling white. She did a great job on the rest of the apartment - the floors are so clean I almost slipped once or twice (I'm not complaining though!), the kitchen looks fabulous and my dishes are done. I felt so relieved and relaxed coming home to a clean and organized apartment after work. I now see how cleaning services are addicting. I was very excited to hire professionals to clean our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house in preparation for a party. I left the house in ideal shape for cleaning -- no clutter on the countertops, all dishes put away, laundry baskets stacked in the closet, bathroom counters cleared. The ladies came when I was at work, so my husband let them in and says they were cordial and professional. Unfortunately, when I got home, I was disappointed to find that many of the things listed under the services for the "standard clean" I paid for were either not done or not done thoroughly: - The trash cans were not emptied - The carpets in the upstairs bedrooms do not appear to have been vacuumed - The master bathroom floor is dirty - Two of the bathroom faucets appear to have received only a cursory wipe (water spots and soap scum remain) - The kitchen counters appear to have been dusted, but not wiped down (there are drinking glass rings) I am pleased that the kitchen appliances were wiped down and the hardwood floors look great. Ultimately, though, the fact that I'll be spending a few hours finishing the job means that I'll be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I pretty much booked the entire thing in a couple minutes without having to call anyone. Just wow. From the online booking process to the actual cleaning- these folks were quick, easy and efficient. In an apartment covered in glitter, sink full of dishes, at least 6 bags of trash with a dog and person who is crafting in the next room- the young lady who came to clean was amazing. They loaded the dishwasher, took the trash to the dumpster and had my apartment in tip top shape 30 minutes before guests were due to arrive at my apartment. They even showed up early. I have used several cleaning services and individuals since moving to Houston. I often times find that they do a great job the first few times and quality/attention to detail falls off. I have a good feeling Already Maid is going to be different (fingers crossed!). Kudos to the Already Maid team even before they showed up. I had to push the appointment back a few hours at the last minute and they were very communicative and Kelsie came over to my house on a Friday with all of her supplies and equipment at the agreed-upon time. She was very pleasant and outgoing. I was able to be at the house for the first time they came over and she was very professional and communicated with me regarding her progress and if I wanted anything done differently. One minor detail I really appreciated was that while she cleaned my office, she left things like computer equipment and other delicate electronic components alone as not to risk any sort of mishap. Anyways, it's early days and I'll definitely report back, but all things point to great things to come. read more

Ok, I'm about to be the jerk that screws up their perfect rating -- sorry. This was my first time using a cleaning service, and I thought the overall process was pretty painless. Some people talk about a gift in their review, but I didn't get any extra present. I think that it depends on the maid I was extremely happy that I was able to book online and choose my services based on my need. Also, the maid, Kayla (or maybe Kyla) was prompt and had her own cleaning supplies and was very nice. First, I cannot get over how clean she got my bathroom -- it had gotten really bad. My whole apartment was out of control (I work long hours and I'm also a grad student, so it's kinda like I have two jobs. I have no real time to clean). She cleaned behind the toilet and I also requested that she detail the baseboards...spotless. I think my toilet sparkled. She also did an excellent job detailing my blinds, cleaning my windows, the oven (again, I didn't think it could get that clean) and cleaning my fridge. I got the supreme clean plus a few extra add on's. It took her about 3 hours and overall I was very pleased. I wasn't happy with how the kitchen floors were done, so I called and she came back the same day and scrubbed them again. No hassle, no complaints. The only reason that I'm giving 4 stars is because when I checked later, there was dust on the television in my bedroom and on my end table and computer. I went back and dusted those things with my handy Swiffer. If Yelp allowed a half star deduction, I would do that instead. I still can't get over my bathroom. We just hired them to do a move out clean of our place. So no furniture or anything to work around. House was already decently clean. We really just wanted a deep clean for all the small areas, things professional cleaners should do. To be honest, to call them a mediocre dusting crew would be generous. Didn't clean the inside of the toilet bowls. Didn't dust the flat surfaces on items like switches and outlets. Didn't clean or dust the baseboards. Finger prints and dirt around door knobs and door frames at arm height. Blinds weren't cleaned or even dusted. Now, I believe in finding good as well. 1) Tubs and faucets were very clean. 2) Sinks and faucets were very clean. 3) Oven was very well done. All in all, I guess I expected more of the knocks and crannies to be cleaned. Outside the good areas I noted, if it wasn't at arm level (up or down) it wasn't touched it seemed. If it required more than a dry paper towel, it wasn't done. Basically after buying cleaning services, I had to spend another 3 hours going over and cleaning areas and items that should have been done by the crew that showed up. Maybe they do a better job if you watch them, but if you open the house and leave them to their own supervision like we did, I don't know that they'd do a good job. read more

We've had hit-or-miss experiences. The first time around I think they did a decent job. However, they had us do our "walk through" when they were pretty much walking out the door, so they were reluctant to come back and complete the things they left out (but were specifically on the list). They did come back and do some of it but since these were things specifically on the list I felt like we shouldn't have to argue with them about it. The second time I just asked them to clean the living room/dining room/kitchen. They did not do basic things on the list and just yelled upstairs they were leaving so we didn't even get to do a walkthrough. They had left basic things undone (there were dust bunnies in corners, crumbs on the couch, and she dumped any toys she found into the stroller, instead of putting them in the toy box to save herself the trip upstairs. I figure for nearly $200 we should get more than an hour and a half of cleaning and they should at the very least do the things on their own list. read more

As of about 6 months ago we switched over to another service. It came to be that it seemed the cleaners they were sending were doing just the minimum to get done. They didn't move or clean under the sofa's or coffee table and we have hard wood floors, so not like it's all that hard to move stuff around. Having the cleaning crew I have now, I see how much I've been missing. The people I used now, move furniture around, dust the ceiling fans, put my sheets to wash, and so much more. Gloria has visited our house twice and both times I have been impressed with her professionalism and efficient work. We have a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath house and she is able to knock it out in under two hours. I have also had very pleasant interactions with the office/owners. They are very big on communication. Providing conformation calls the day before. Both times Gloria has arrived on-time and she gets straight to work. We live outside of Houston off Hwy 6 which is outside of their "service area". I called and they said they would be more than happy to come out for an extra 5 bucks. This was a no brainer since it costs almost that much in gas and toll roads to get to our house from Houston. In summary my wife and I have been impressed with Already Maid on every level. They go the extra mile to take care of their customers. I respect that in a business especially these days. read more

This is my first time ever hiring a maid service and I was really nervous and uncomfortable but they put me at ease. I love the fact that you can book directly on the website at a flat rate. Simple, intuitive, convenient. We confirmed appointment via phone and Kelsie came by herself to tackle our townhouse. She was super nice and friendly. I think they were short on people because they usually send 2 people, so it took her almost 4 hours to finish. Needless to say, I was impressed with how fresh and clean the place ended up being. I decided to go with Already Maid because of the easy online booking. I received a phone call shortly after booking letting me know that the date I selected was filled, but I could reschedule. The person who cleaned my home was on time, actually early. I can't say if she was pleasant or not, we really didn't chat much. She did a good job quickly and I was pleased. My only "complaints": + I wish they used a booking service like Genbook so that I know what dates/times are available. + I forgot to tell her about the downstairs bathroom (which is easily mistaken for a closet) and she didn't clean it. Couldn't ask for more. They're flexible about moving the cleaning time around if I'm not going to be home at the original schedule time and really do a quality job. A lady answered with "how can i help you" so I had to ask if I was calling Already maid, first time she hung up immediately, second time she said "yes it is" so I started to say what I was calling about and then I let her know she was difficult to hear and that I sounded like I was on speaker phone. then she hung up again. I called a third time and thats when a guy answered who was from a call center and let me know that they are based in NYC. - The man told me that for office cleaning they have an hourly rate. When i told him that online there is a link for commercial cleaning and pricing with a price per sqft based on frequency, he had no idea what i was talking about. The website form doesn't work for me (using google chrome) so that's why I had to call. - the website raves about how great they are with customer service and that they have an unparalleled experience. The maids did a good job. I ended up buying the supreme clean (regular clean didn't include baseboards and I needed mine done) which was worth it for not much more. The maids were early, which was nice, and spent about two and a half hours cleaning the place (including both bedrooms). They brought me some jam too... Nice touch for first time customer, heh. I hired Already Maid because of the great reviews but I was not that satisfied with their service. I got a Move In cleaning to my new house. There was no furniture there so I thought it was going to be an easy clean for the maids. The girl that came to my house was so grumpy and unpleasant to be around. She did a decent job but after she left I found a lot of places she had forgotten. I ended up having to dust after her, which makes me a little angry since it cost me $250 for the clean. When she girl was done she was yelling that she was leaving and then gave me attitude that she was running behind schedule. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with this service but that may have been because of the person they sent. read more

Will not be using them again! They came to our house and the whole time I felt like they rushed thru the entire house and just gave everything a quick wipe down instead of a clean like we paid for. I personally wipe dust off the base boards after they told me they were done. Also the banisters were not done and the blinds were done with a quick wipe and nothing felt clean. Streaks were all over our mirrors and glass they cleaned. Very poor service and have already told several friends that are also looking for a cleaning service. I see other reviews here where they came back to clean but it would be a waste of time since they cleaned a 3000 sq ft house in just over an hour. There is no way anyone could do a good job with a house that size with only two people in that amount of time. Very poor cleaning service in my opinion. read more

Almost immediately after posting this review, the owner called me to personally apologize and ask why I was unhappy. He then told me that he would send another maid, Gloria, first thing in the morning to finish the job. Gloria came and did an amazing job! She asked after each room was finished and didn't miss anything at all. She even cleaned the blinds and the fan, which Kelsey neglected to do. I have used Already Maid three times now. Each time there has been some sort of foul up with the scheduling. I requested a time early in the morning, as it allows on the web-site. The first time, they couldn't come at 8am, which is the time I scheduled, b/c they didn't have enough people to do a proper first cleaning, so they came at 10am. The second time, I got an e-mail at 10pm requesting if they can be at the house at 10am instead of 8. I replied to them that 10am is unacceptable as I would have to lock my dog up for more than 4 hours if they came at 10am. However, no one showed up on my house until after 10am anyhow. The third time, a call was made to confirm the 8am appointment. However, no one showed up to my house until 10am. Obviously, this place does not respect my time at all. I did get a refund for the two cleanings they did not show up on time for. I will commend them for owning up to their mistakes. As for the work, it is about average but way over priced at $114/cleaning for two rooms. There is absolutely nothing special. This last time, they did not even change the sheets on my bed or empty the trash in my kitchen. Needless to say, I am disappointed. After 3 sessions, I have cancelled their service. read more

I am using Already Maid monthly and I feel that the ladies did a good job cleaning my house thus far. They have been on time, courteous, and knowledgable in what they are supposed to do, eg. putting things back where they are after cleaning the surface. My stove is quite hard to clean but they took care of it very well. My hardwood floor feels like new after their cleaning. I think the price is quite reasonable. If the price can go lower, I would love to have my house cleaned biweekly but I am on a very disciplined budget so I can only afford once a month. I guess once a month cleaning isn't that bad for a house with 3 people. Scheduling for cleaning service is also very simple. The phone calls are answered promptly. I think this a good company. I used Already Maid for the first time this past Saturday, and I had a great experience! The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was very professional, helpful, and warm. They were able to accommodate an absolutely last-minute need for housecleaning, much to my surprise and delight! I was completely stressed about needing to get my apartment ready for an event and couldn't face the mess, and thought there was almost zero chance I could get someone to come out on the weekend--when I didn't even talk to them until Saturday! I scheduled a move-out clean for today, the day before I move. I saw the good Yelp reviews for this company and decided I couldn't go wrong with them. So wrong. I was not bothered by the cleaner coming 25 minutes late, no biggie. However, when she told me that she was finished and I looked around, I was surprised. It was not, by any means, a thorough clean. Do they know what move-out clean entails? They advertise on the website that everything is included (oven, refrigerator, etc.). There was dirt leftover in the shower and on the doors and I even had to remind her to do the oven! Once she was "done" the oven was still dirty. Sigh...I seriously hope my building doesn't charge me a move-out fee for leaving the place somewhat dirty. I even tipped the cleaner. How nice of me. read more

I requested a cleaning service for my house before I was to host a wedding shower very easy to book and reasonably priced so I give them that. But I was very specific that I needed to know the exact time they were to arrive because I needed to take off work. I then found out when you book you book an hour window for them to show up, plus you have to allow for 30 extra minutes of "potential traffic" time. I get it we live in Houston. They were suppose to arrive at 2pm I called at 2:30 and they told me someone would call me back when they found my cleaning booking. I never got a call back, I got an email at 4:00 saying that the cleaning lady tried to call me at 1:55 but I didn't answer. NEVER RECEIVED A CALL. Very upset and WILL NOT be using them again.
