Tristen holding our first of 5

Tristen was so informative and helpful to these two rookies from California! We had fish on before we even sat down. Total of 5 beautiful rainbow trout!

Holy moley! What a fantastic time we had today. Brennan was an amazing guide that helped us get on some awesome rainbow trout. We had 2 non fisherman in our group and Brennan was awesome with them. In the end EVERY person in our 5 person group caught fish. I can't say this enough...this is the best Breckenridge activity out there. Also Josh who helped us book our trip was very detail oriented and patient with my dumb questions. This is a 5 out of 5 outing!!

This was an A+ fishing trip with Tommy from Alpine Fishing Adventures! Three generations of my family from age 70 to 8 years old had a wonderful day on the lake. Our main goal was to give the grandchildren a first time adventure of fishing and in addition to that, the adults enjoyed an exceptionally beautiful day on the lake. Tommy was an excellent instructor, with even our youngest 8 year old picking it up quickly! He was patient with the children along with being educational and informative. The kids caught Kokanee salmon and that made the day! We never believed we would have seen a bald eagle in its natural habitat, but clear as day, there it was perched on high. We are hoping to be able to repeat this adventure with Alpine again next summer! Thanks again, Tommy!

The natural…read morebeauty of this body of water is breathtaking....from far, you can see the lake and the Rockies in the background...up close you can enjoy the crystal blue waters and some of the activities that are allowed on the lake. Dillon Reservoir, sometimes referred to as Lake Dillon, is located in Summit County, Colorado, south of I-70 and bordered by the towns of Frisco, Silverthorne, and Dillon. It is a reservoir for the city of Denver, and its waters are under the control of Denver Water. Popular ski areas are close to the reservoir, including Copper Mountain, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Breckenridge. During the winter months, ice fishing and snowmobiling are common activities. For warmer months, the towns of Dillon and Frisco each have marinas on the reservoir. The Dillon Marina is open pretty much during the season and hundreds of sailboats can be seen docked or sailing. Due to Dillon Reservoir's proximity to the towns of Dillon, Silverthorne, and Frisco, the lake has many lodging, camping, and RV facilities. The reservoir has a popular 18 miles paved bike path that winds around the entire reservoir. The path can be accessed at any point around the reservoir. The views from any angle are worth the drive to this beautiful lake.

Confirmations and reminders come by email and text, and provide all the details that would be required. We found our 22 foot pontoon in perfect condition, and the craft performed beautifully during a tour of Lake Dillon that lasted over two hours. The instructions provided by the Marina staff were clear, concise, and thorough, allowing an inexperienced "Captain" to perform his duties at a high level. Most impressive, however, was how the Marina staff handled a crisis. Into the third hour of our rental, a thunderstorm came sweeping across Lake Dillon, raising serious whitecaps driven by strong, unpredictable winds. We headed a full throttle for the Marina Landing, where there were several boats in line, struggling to be secured to the dock despite the winds. With absolute aplomb, the Marina staff instructed us in steering the boat safely to dockside. Before the first drops of rain were falling, we were safely in our car. Not only did we catch trout ALL DAY with his guidance, he taught us a lot of techniques and coached us through the mistakes we made. It was the perfect trip for getting started with this hobby. The week of our trip there was a lot of rain that effected some of the fishing locations but Sam was very communicative about finding the best spot for the rainy circumstances. He gave us a few different options of where we could fish and we ultimately went with his recommendation which was fishing the rivers in Silverthorne. We got even more out of it than expected. Thank you Trouts, and Sam for an amazing experience!

We are new to fly fishing and had only had a couple hours of instruction prior to this trip. We did have most of our own gear, but I needed waders and boots. They have a very good rental fleet of waders (Simms G3) and boots, so you weren't wearing cheap gear, which was nice. We met up with our guide Ryan first thing in the morning at the shop and decided to fish the Blue just north of Silverthorne and in town. We had a blast with Ryan! We were looking for more of an educational trip, as well as hoping to get on some fish. Ryan was great in explaining how to read the river and present the fly in the best way as well as different knot methods which we didn't know before. He didn't get into super technical casting methods, it was more about getting the fly where you wanted it and then presenting it so hopefully the fish would take it. You could tell Ryan was super passionate about fishing and helping people out. We had a blast. The best part of the day was that my wife caught her first fish ever and now she is really "hooked". I can't thank Ryan and the other shop guys enough for a great day.
