Booked a fishing boat with Alpine Fishing Adventures for our family trip, which included three kids and seven adults. Our tour guide, Alec, was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable about Dillion Lake. Alec went above and beyond to make sure everyone, especially the kids, had a fantastic time. Each child caught multiple fish, including rainbow and brown trout. For those not fishing, the four-hour boat ride around Dillion was beautiful and enjoyable on its own. This was our second trip with Alpine Fishing Adventures and we booked another morning guided fishing trip for our kids and family reunion group for a total of six people. We were not disappointed. Owner/operator Randy was our guide. He was on time and provided a thorough safety briefing and gave us a good background of the lake and different species of fish we would fishing for. The boat was clean and in great condition. Randy was patient, attentive, and a great communicator. He answered all our questions and provided us with some fishing tips as we planned to go shore fishing later in the week. Randy kept us busy and allowed us to be involved, which greatly enhances the experience and increases your catch. The fishing was hot at the beginning and end of trip. We caught some Rainbows, a brown, and a couple Kokanee. Randy filleted all our fish and they were delicious when cooked up later in the day. We had another great experience. The fishing was great. the scenery was beautiful, and everyone had a blast. It is evident that Randy takes pride in his business and the product he offers. I highly recommend Alpine Fishing Adventures and look forward to booking again when we return. read more

Holy moley! What a fantastic time we had today. Brennan was an amazing guide that helped us get on some awesome rainbow trout. We had 2 non fisherman in our group and Brennan was awesome with them. In the end EVERY person in our 5 person group caught fish. I can't say this enough...this is the best Breckenridge activity out there. Also Josh who helped us book our trip was very detail oriented and patient with my dumb questions. This is a 5 out of 5 outing!! read more

This was the best day of fishing that I've ever taken my family on. We caught 8 rainbow trout big enough to eat, and even more that we threw back. Randy knew the best spot in the lake and it was nonstop action for nearly 4 hours. Lots of bites and catches. Randy was super helpful teaching us the best methods for casting out and positioning our lines for maximum fish. I chose Alpine Fishing because they offer a great family package that makes it more affordable for a family to enjoy the day fishing. Our 9 year old son was free. Randy was helping us the entire time - he didn't even try to fish himself during our trip (which is rare for these types of tours). He also cleaned our fish at the end so we could BBQ them for dinner. These were the best tasting trout I've ever cooked. read more

This was an A+ fishing trip with Tommy from Alpine Fishing Adventures! Three generations of my family from age 70 to 8 years old had a wonderful day on the lake. Our main goal was to give the grandchildren a first time adventure of fishing and in addition to that, the adults enjoyed an exceptionally beautiful day on the lake. Tommy was an excellent instructor, with even our youngest 8 year old picking it up quickly! He was patient with the children along with being educational and informative. The kids caught Kokanee salmon and that made the day! We never believed we would have seen a bald eagle in its natural habitat, but clear as day, there it was perched on high. Our family of four with two young boys decided to take a break from skiing in Breckenridge and spend a day ice-fishing. Our boys are obsessed with fishing so this was the perfect experience for them. Being novices when it comes to fishing, and especially ice-fishing we did not know what to expect. Our guide, Brennan, ended up showing us a fabulous time. We all caught multiple rainbow trout, brought home dinner for the night, learned a ton about fishing, and stayed safe on our trip. What a great experience! We lucked into using Alpine Fishing Adventures after another "Big" fishing charter bail"Ed" on me the day before due to his boats not working. I am very glad that happened! George was our guide and it was a pleasure to fish with. My wife and I had a wonderful time. It was out of season, in September, but that did not cause us any problems. George has such a passion for fishing, for Lake Dillon, and making sure everyone has a lot of fun. He is totally knowledgeable not only about his craft, but the lake as well as the history. When we were moving from spot to spot - and boy does he know a ton of them - he was educating us on the area and the lake. We saw all kinds of wildlife including a bald eagle in flight - what a beautiful day! Yes we caught rainbows - quite a few. George even got my wife to kiss one for good luck.
