They did some seriously amazing fence work to retro fit into my existing fencing and did it in conjunction with my hardscape contractor who was building our retaining wall. These guys were so patient with me and the contractor. I can't believe it considering the contractor I was using was so hard to communicate with. After interviewing four companies we chose Alpine Fence because we liked owner Bill's can-do attitude, ability to get the fence up in a very timely manner, fair pricing and vast experience. We needed 263' of vinyl privacy fencing, partially on hilly terrain, and accessible only through our 1/3 acre with stone stairs and rugged pathways. The workers were very considerate and skilled especially Bill, Alberto, Miguel and Osvaldo and worked efficiently and effectively completing the large project in a quick four days between rain storms. Alberto, in particular, was very conscientious and paid attention to all the details - even returning a last day to insert another custom cut section to complete the last panel at the most difficult part of our fence on the sloping hill. The job site was clean and free of refuse at the end of each day and the workers were very respectful of our extensive gardens, plants and artistic rock formations and pathways. Paul and Nick did an amazing job creating our "doggie air-lock" , "garbage can corral", driveway gate, and secret garden gate. It was so easy working with Mike and everyone at the company to design and build our dream home scape. They were fast, clean and efficient. They even poured a little extra concrete so we could add our puppies' paw prints to commemorate this achievement. We bought the house with the vinyl fence which was about 8years old. We recently had a vinyl fence completed around the rear and sides of our home in La Jolla. It was not an easy project due to a couple of factors. The first challenge was one of my neighbors who is an elderly gentleman that has a hard time with change. He did not seem to understand the value of upgrading our 50+ old fence. Called Alpine Fence on Friday to get an estimate for fences and gates on both sides of my home in Poway. The very nice lady at Alpine set me up with a Monday estimate. Ryan arrived on schedule and worked up the estimate for me. The next morning we were scheduled for the next Monday. On WednesdayI was told that they had an installer who was available Friday. Friday morning, Bryan and Chris showed up before 7AM and were digging fence holes. We discussed any possible changes I might want (which way to have the gates swing, which post to use for the hinges, etc. ). We made one small change (no cost). Since we were having new walkways installed, Bryan worked with the Paver crew to determine grade height, which pavers to move for the fence post installation, etc., and the work continued and the job was completed right around 10AM!! We just completed a quite complex 3 stage vinyl fencing project with Alpine Fence. Our project manager Tommy Buchanan is the most amazing young man! During the 3 month construction I don't even know how many times Tommy came by checking, measuring and talking to the block masons. Tommy has a work ethic that is very rare in todays world. The project involved a great deal of communication between Alpine Fence (Tommy) and RML Concrete for block retaining walls. Stage 1 of the project was to install steel frame vinyl gates at the house south side patio so the dogs would have an enclosed area during construction. Thank You to Installers Nick and crew for the awesome gates. Stage 2 was installing vinyl around the lower lot, and up the north top lot including a 48" man gate on lower level and a specially designed steel frame vinyl gates system at the top north west easement. Stage 2 also includes some amazing specially designed semi private panels at the lower south patio area. Thank You to installers Rick and crew for the amazing vinyl work on stage 2. Stage 3 was to install vinyl on newly constructed block retainer wall to complete close in of the south and back west of property.
